  1. Williams, Goosby, Agbo, and now Baker with an outside shot at Weston Davis and DeAndre Carter. Not to mention Campbell, Umeozulu, Cruz, Kibble, Chatman, Kirkland, Stroh, Cojoe, Hutson, and Robinson - and they're all being coached and developed by Flood. Talk about a First World Problem. This OL is going to be absolutely filthy for years. We could have Vondrell McGree, Antwon Cobb, Tristian Houston, Kyle Porter, Danny Young, or Toneil Carter runnning behind them and probably still average more than 5 ypc. Hell, post-injury Kevin Shorter could probably get 4 or even 4.5. Instead, we've got or are getting Brooks, Baxter, Gibson, Clark, and even guys like Blue and Red (who I would desparately like to see get more carries, btw) Someone hit the nail on the head: this is how Bama and Georgia were built.
  2. Here's his Junior HUDL for anyone interested. I'm not a "WATCH TEH TAPPPEE!!" guy but, god damn, this dude moves like someone half his size: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/13698521/63414a12688ea715fcb9595f From my VERY amateur perspective, I don't think he's quite as talented as Banks, but there's absolutely ZERO shame in that and he still looks like an absolute monster. As someone else pointed out, continuing to get guys like this is how you become Bama/UGA. I am beyond stoked to get his commit
  3. Number 9 REALLY should've made a beeline for him and reduced his diminuative ass to tiny pile of roadkill. In ice hockey, the goalie is frequently fair play (SORT OF - it can depend) when he leaves the crease. Jackass, mercurial, hillbilly, dwarfen football coaches with man tits who run into the heart of a play should get the exact same treatment
  4. Amazing how right after the announcers praise Klubnik’s performance, he throws a wounded duck into the turf three yards behind the intended receiver. It’s been said a lot but definitely agree that we’re seeing the decline of the Clemson “empire” in the post-NIL world.
  5. Auburn’s offense is such complete ass. I’d be amazed if they scored another 6 points in this one. Their unbelievably shitty OL and QB play are actually making aggy’s DL look decent
  6. Man, I wish we could’ve hung onto Wiley. He and Sanders would’ve made such a nasty 1-2 punch at TE. I like Helm and all but he’s not Wiley As always, fuck Tom Herman and the horse he road in on
  7. I know, I know - but it's still just a visceral reaction I have sometimes. Too many bad memories from the Herman and Strong years, I guess
  8. Hell yes. Kelly and LSU better hope their crooked ass state finds a way to divert some more highway and public works money to the football team's "NIL" fund. Everyone with half a brain cell (e.g., not LSU fans) knows that this one's not even close to over
  9. I'm super happy that he's thrilled to be back in Austin but this bump in particular scared the hell out of me because I know aggy, tOSU, USC, and even Bama are all desparately trying to get back into this recruitment.
  10. I mean, I guess I sort of get why they do that - but I still hate it. I honestly don't give a fuck about a player's NFL potential (unless he's making Texas look good). All I really want to know is "what can this guy do for my college team? What kind of impact will he have in CFB?" Plus, it seems like they're not even doing a great job at that
  11. The rankings are even more ass than usual this year. There are WAY more "three stars" than ever with offers from Bama, Texas, LSU, tOSU, USC, UM, UF, etc. They really need to just scrap the current ones and start over from scratch. Look at Daniel Cruz, for example (yes, I know he's a low 4 star in the composite). Ryan Day and Jimbo would've given their middle nuts for a commitment from that kid. And there's DOZENS of other examples just like him with even more egregious rankings
  12. I was curious about Filsaime and why we don't seem to be recruiting him- and neither do aggy or OU - so I went and watched his HUDL. I am substantially less curious now. Absolutely nothing about his highlights jump out to me. What am I missing? Did he test super well or something? He doesn't seem especially fast or quick on tape but maybe he ran a FAT 10.2 or something and that's why the $9.95ers like him? But he looks like a Haynes King special to me with none of the regional powers seemingly pushing for him http://www.hudl.com/v/2J8k2n
  13. For real. It looked like they were being coached by Roy Johnson from BS High. Definitely one of the funniest things I can remember in a CFB game
  14. My bad. I sometimes forget that he wasn't a senior because of how amaizng he was. Fixed.
  15. Highest passer efficiency in the country his junior year. And all anyone talked about was his running. But having him with Sweed, Selvin, Ramonce, Thomas, Pittman, and Jamaal was filthy. Even Myron Hardy, Nate Jones, and Peter Ullman stood up to make the occasional play. Hardy's catch in the 2005 title game in particular always stodd out to me. If Henry Melton would've decdided to lower his shoulder more to bowl people over and stopped trying to run like Reggie Bush, he could've been a really special RB (not that he wasn't a good DE eventually). And holy shit, the OL. So mean and nasty. That team was just so stacked
  16. Dominick McKinley HUDL for anyone who hasn't seen it yet: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/15175017/637aa82b2aa6660908a67108 The young man is freakishly fast and quick for his size. I've heard rumors on here that he doesn't really love football all that much and is just maybe too nice of a kid. That said, we had a similar deal with Malik and Okam (at least at first with Okam) and they turned out well for us. Based on the first play alone on McKinley's HUDL (the pick six), I'd give my middle nut to get him to Texas. May have to throw a few more bucks into the Texas One Fund after seeing that interception and return
  17. Was just coming here to the post this. A lot of similarities between LSU and aggy with the insane numbers suddenly becoming indisputable fact. I thought y'all were better than that, LSU. Not a lot better. But at least a little. Dropping to aggy levels is just sad for any program, even the corndogs
  18. That's a spectacular idea. I already give like $100 a month but it would be just too perfect to do another $20/month in the name of a particularly obnoxious aggy in-law
  19. The whole "WE DONE STOMPIN THEM TU FOLK AT CROOTIN" narrative is especially hysterical when you consider that 8 of our 11 commits have aggy offers and 6 of their 18 commits have Texas offers. That's not a typo. SIX of their commits have Texas offers. 33% is apparently "beating the hell out of" 73%. Gotta love aggy math But sure. We're the irrational ones filled with cognitive dissonance. aggy logic and math at its absolute finest
  20. I'm no daddy98 but Landon Rink looks like a high 3-star/low 4-star in the same way that Sam Acho, Joseph Ossai, Poona Ford, and Moro Ojomo were (and, yes, I know that Ossai was a solid 4-star by the end of the recruiting cycle but, IIRC, he spent a lot of it rated as a high 3/low 4-star recuit). My only concerns: 1) are what position Rink will play (e.g. will he be able to add the weight to play DT); and 2) whether he's more maxed out/developed than kids his age due to coaching and all the instruction I'm sure he's gotten from his dad. That kid's motor just does not seem to sto Edit: unless he goes to okie or aggy. Then he's bread and he fucking sucks ass. But as long as he picks Texas, he's an amazing get. That's just how it is. I don't make the rules
  21. Is it me or does this kid look fast as fuck for his size? http://www.hudl.com/v/2JLLWq
  22. I would also pay to see this. It would be like tossing an armless crab into a tank with a hungry octopus
