  1. If y'all get one set up in Austin, you can put me down as a "probably," pending work and family commitments
  2. There's a lot to like about his Sr. HUDL (for whatever a highlight reel is worth). He clearly gets a lot of mileage out of being the biggest, strongest guy on the field by far, which won't work in college. But he moves much better than I thought he would and, damn, that kid is mean http://www.hudl.com/video/3/14443484/6369dd77b023a304c804f34f
  3. Here's the link for anyone that doesn't want to scroll past the massive list of basketball highlights on his HUDL page: http://www.hudl.com/v/2Jzdt9
  4. Holy shit, he's FAST. I assume we're looking at him as a safety then? Although he actually does seem to be a better passer than a lot of the kids we recruit who play the "go win the game" position.
  5. That's kind of what I figured. Some guys I've seen described as really, really high priority targets don't seem to have the rankings to match and there's always a TON of movment up and down the lists over the next year. Was just wondering. Thanks, y'all!
  6. Forgive me ignorance on the matter but this isn't entirely clear to me. It seems like we're seeing a lot of guys without rankings and/or similar offer lists being "offered." Are these Bama style "offers" to come do a workout at a camp? Or are they indicative of the staff thinking "this guy can play and we don't care what his offer list and $9.95er ranking look like?" I'd imagine there's some of both but I was just wondering.
  7. Please feel free to neg away if I'm out to lunch here but am I the only one that sees Zina's highlights and thinks "he just doesn't look like anything special?" Maybe there's a lot of untapped potential there but his highlight tape, which is supposed to be the best of his absolute best plays, just doesn't look all that impressive to me
  8. I won't be surprised at all if our first game with aggy is at back DKR. It seems like exactly the kind of thing the SEC would do to remind them of their place. Which is about 3-4 tiers below ours.
  9. AHAHAHA Even better - it sounds like they once again forced aggy to vote for our early entry too. Absolutely amazing
  10. How about the dozen (or more) recruits and transfers Ketch singlehandedly cost the program because he just had to be "tEh FiRSt!!!!11" Or the time he nearly cost us Mushchamp? If Ketch got fucked in the ass with a dildo made of pure plasmic sunfire, it still wouldn't be enough. He's the worst and it's not close, FCB's Nik Bonnitto article and Kurt Bowels Heisman vote included (among many, many, many other things).
  11. Exactly what I came here to say. He's barely following through at all and the ball is going 70+ yards. No idea if he'll ever amount to anything or what his accuracy's actually like but he seems like a very nice gamble at PWO to me.
  12. Me after clicking on the last page of this thread hoping for some kind of news or information
  13. Exactly. All the bitching and moaning about "tu won't fit in with the SEC crowd" completely ignores the fact that those fucking weirdos don't fit in anywhere outside of BCS. Maybe Jonestown circa 1978 or Sea Org HQ in Clearwater but that's seriously about it.
  14. How the hell did they pull Walker Howard and Spencer Sanders with Jaxson Dart already on the roster? Seems like an... interesting strategy
  15. I mean, I don't really get Hunter Refnrow/Justin Hardy type vibes from his HUDL, but who knows? Every once in a great while, the switch flips for a rare few of the these kids and good things happen. Also, I can't imagine you'd have really gotten much from Hunter Renfro or Justin Hardy's HS tapes either If nothing else, a GPA of 103.4 (whatever the hell that means) seems like it'll be good for our APR.
  16. To the extent that you can trust Roberson's Senior HUDL (admittedly, you frequently can't), I'll make that trade all day. He looks fast, like he covers well, is a beast on special teams, plays really hard, and seems to have solid hands. This kid looks like a take all day. http://www.hudl.com/video/3/13289397/6374687d5ef7360b20a7fa62
  17. Wait... Weigman only completed 55.3 percent of his passes??? Based on what we've seen from TexAgs, you'd think he'd been north of 70%. Those are not "phenom" numbers, even with the 0 picks, and it seems like he might be in for a tough 2023 season without Achane...
  18. That's depressing as fuck. I remember thinking that a few of those guys (Bonney, Freeman, Roberson, & Catalon?) were going to be so good for us. God damn, that was some shitty projection on my part.
  19. @Hookem2147 is dropping nukes from orbit over here. Couldn't agree more - I'm sure the players loved those guys but they were absolute shit coaches and the on-field product clearly demonstrated it (outside of Bijan when Herman deigned to give him snaps)
  20. That's the amazing thing about this kid. He doesn't seem like he really knows what he's doing yet. I think I caught a few (awkward) attempts at swim and spin moves on his HUDL. If we can get him on campus, teach him how to do that stuff correctly and appropriately, and otherwise develop him (and it's ALWAYS a huge "if"), he could turn into an absolute nightmare. There's a reason Saban had Bo Davis in charge of his DL for so many years
  21. Double posting from the recruiting board, but I saw tonight that I think encapsulates aggy pretty well. My wife and I went to the Texas Stars game and, at one point, the camera for the Jumbotron focused on a father in a maroon shirt with his three little kids for about 20 seconds. This dipshit decided the best reaction to this would be to throw the horns the whole time he was on the screen and force his poor children to do the same. I guess to own all them fancy Austin sips? Imagine being that big of a tool and displaying, to the world, how proud of it you are. Just pathetic. I hope those poor kids make it to adulthood without being too fucked up /CSB
  22. I guess it would depend (standard legal answer). I'd think there might be "unclean hands" defense to assert, maybe? On the other hand, if it's permissible under Florida law, that might not work even if it's not permitted under NCAA guidelines. But I'm not a contracts lawyer and, even if I was, I don't know anything about the contract itself or Florida law, so I have no idea
