  1. To the extent that you can trust Roberson's Senior HUDL (admittedly, you frequently can't), I'll make that trade all day. He looks fast, like he covers well, is a beast on special teams, plays really hard, and seems to have solid hands. This kid looks like a take all day. http://www.hudl.com/video/3/13289397/6374687d5ef7360b20a7fa62
  2. Wait... Weigman only completed 55.3 percent of his passes??? Based on what we've seen from TexAgs, you'd think he'd been north of 70%. Those are not "phenom" numbers, even with the 0 picks, and it seems like he might be in for a tough 2023 season without Achane...
  3. That's depressing as fuck. I remember thinking that a few of those guys (Bonney, Freeman, Roberson, & Catalon?) were going to be so good for us. God damn, that was some shitty projection on my part.
  4. @Hookem2147 is dropping nukes from orbit over here. Couldn't agree more - I'm sure the players loved those guys but they were absolute shit coaches and the on-field product clearly demonstrated it (outside of Bijan when Herman deigned to give him snaps)
  5. That's the amazing thing about this kid. He doesn't seem like he really knows what he's doing yet. I think I caught a few (awkward) attempts at swim and spin moves on his HUDL. If we can get him on campus, teach him how to do that stuff correctly and appropriately, and otherwise develop him (and it's ALWAYS a huge "if"), he could turn into an absolute nightmare. There's a reason Saban had Bo Davis in charge of his DL for so many years
  6. Double posting from the recruiting board, but I saw tonight that I think encapsulates aggy pretty well. My wife and I went to the Texas Stars game and, at one point, the camera for the Jumbotron focused on a father in a maroon shirt with his three little kids for about 20 seconds. This dipshit decided the best reaction to this would be to throw the horns the whole time he was on the screen and force his poor children to do the same. I guess to own all them fancy Austin sips? Imagine being that big of a tool and displaying, to the world, how proud of it you are. Just pathetic. I hope those poor kids make it to adulthood without being too fucked up /CSB
  7. I guess it would depend (standard legal answer). I'd think there might be "unclean hands" defense to assert, maybe? On the other hand, if it's permissible under Florida law, that might not work even if it's not permitted under NCAA guidelines. But I'm not a contracts lawyer and, even if I was, I don't know anything about the contract itself or Florida law, so I have no idea
  8. Had an experience tonight that I think encapsulates aggy pretty well. My wife and I went to the Texas Stars game and, at one point, the camera for the Jumbotron focused on a father in a maroon shirt with his three little kids for about 20 seconds. 9. I'm such a huge fan of this kid. Obviously, he's not a Banks level athletic monster but he's pretty much everything else you could ever want from an athlete at the University of Texas. I'll be pulling for him no matter what he winds up doing
  10. Apparently, they actually promised him $13 million (I'm assuming over 4 years). And it looks like the booster who put that money up may have breached a contract by withdrawing it so I'd imagine there's a good chance that Rashada will file suit. What a completely massive fuck up by Florida. And other schools bitch about our boosters... https://theathletic.com/4087681/2023/01/13/jaden-rashada-florida-gators-football/ Edit: you also have to wonder what this does to the Lagway recruitment
  11. Beaten out for their top choice by a school that's half their size or less with not more than half their resources. What an absolutely perfect reminder of aggy's actual place in the CFB hierarchy
  12. He was definitely interested in baseball and, IIRC, was a pretty well thought of prospect. I don't believe he played it at all at Arky though so I assume that's all over now
  13. Amazing news. If he can just find a way to stay healthy, our secondary is going to be nasty
  14. Every single one of those guys is incredibly lucky to still have their head/face/arms/legs/scrotum still attached to their body. Why would you EVER agree to do that?
  15. "UGA is one of the few SEC programs that I haven't developed a nice hate for." Probably because aggy's bitch asses have only played them once in the past decade. If Georgia saw more of aggy, I'm sure they'd mock the shit out of them like everyone else Edit: Dammit. @Doc Daneeka beat me to it
  16. It's going to be a rough offseason without the constant flow of screenshots from Texags.
  17. My semi-literate-Twitter-idiot-squid language skills are limited - broken at best - but that's definitely what it looks like is being implied (Harrison, Jr. to USC). If so, wow. Riley's just making more and more friends wherever he goes
  18. Avon Old Farms, huh? Will we also be combing through Choate, Hyde, and Salisbury for talent? Didn't Bama recently get a kid from Loomis Chaffee?
  19. Almost 6'4" and ran a 10.39 100 m dash. Sark should be all over this kid. Hopefully we're the ones who were (allegedly) in his ear about NIL money
  20. I'm very much good with that. He's definitely a really talented kid. Hope he makes the most of it because he could wind up being important for us next year
  21. I'm not holding my breath but if he can develop enough to be favorably compared to Andrew Beck, this take would be an absolute home run
  22. Yeah, either one is acceptable. Maybe I'm a softie for rooting for the outcome that leads to the least term health consequences (relying on pass protection from that OL? ouch) for a kid I really don't have anything against other than getting duped into committing to aggy. But, definitely, watching them turn on him will also be delicious.
  23. I'm still holding out an impossible hope that someone like UGA, UTenn, or tOSU (Stroud has declared, right?) makes an offer Weigman can't refuse. I'm also disappointed in Bo Nix for coming back for what seems like his 8th year of eligibility because I think Oregon would have had one of the best shots to pull it off. Not going to happen but we can dream
  24. I think I remember reading that he ran an unofficial 4.29 forty recently? Im guessing it was hand-timed but still. It's always projection with these kids but if he can improve his catching consistency and master the route tree, watch the fuck out
