  1. I just had a flashback of all the camp reports we heard about what an "amazing connection" Hales had with Garrett Gilbert during camp. God, those were dark days
  2. I will never, ever, ever get tired of seeing this pic posted (and have posted it a few times myself). So if you ever want guaranteed rep from me, post this. Almost too beautiful/glorious/enticing for words. Assuming there's no photographer or any parasitic agents or whatever there (and, obviously there are, of course) I would give my middle nut to be the third wheel there. Seriously. Let me use it one last time and I'm good. That's really all I'll ever need it for again. Disclaimer: if my wife comes across this post somehow - doubtful, but you never you know - I was CLEARLY hacked. I would CONSIDER blaming SydneyCarton, closetojumping, HenryJames, NoName, and few others but it's CLEARLY that Mailbox357 fucker's fault and he should be drawn and quartered for this offense. I just hope they can find a rack large enough for Ketch's ginormous ass. Maybe they can Blood Eagle him instead
  3. I'm really, really happy to hear you say this. IIRC, one of your big misgivings about Sark initially was questioning whether he was a "killer" or not. I think you referenced early Mack on the recruiting trail and in his dealing with the press as an example. You're obviously far more in the know than I will ever be so hearing you say that Sark does, in fact, have some of that that killer instinct that coaches like pre-decline Mack had (among many, many other great ones) gives me a lot of hope for the future. I sincerely hope Sark hangs onto whatever he's found.
  4. They never cease to astound me. I've watched maybe a quarter and a half of an aggy game this year - and that was part of the hilarious collapse against Miami that anyone with half a brain saw coming. Since it's not 1989, there's pretty much always actual good teams on that I can watch instead. Or at least fun teams who don't run a 1970s offense. That way, I can enjoy seeing innovation and/or intelligent play calling and say things like "wow. That was a cool, really smart play. I hope Sark picks that one up" - see ISU's 4th down TD call last night, as frustrating as it was to watch in the moment (side note: love or hate Sark, it's nice having a coach who actually runs the type of play that elicits that kind of reaction on at least a semi-regular basis). Those pigfuckers watch every single second of every single game we play, no matter what the score is, and focus on that shit like they're preparing for the bar exam or the USMLE. Each and every one of those weirdos needs lifelong psychotherapy with accompanying INTENSE psychiatric care and even that's probably not nearly enough. I would say lobotomies might do the trick but I'm pretty sure most them have already had one, so...
  5. Do not want. Say wat you want about his coaching but recruiting East TX would suddenly become much, much harder.
  6. Got damn. You think there's a poral exodus now. Wait until all those five start prima donnas have to get coached by Gundy. So, in conclusion, I support this wholeheartedly and hope aggy is dumb enough to do it. I'll give Gundy this much, at least: that dude can flat out coach even when he's not keeping his best players. So I guess it would be an upgrade even if aggy loses half their roster.
  7. And every other year he played them. Despite the OU debacles, he'll always have my respect for the consecutive beatdowns he put on aggy. Same with Case. Couldn't throw, could barely run, probably could've found a more athletic potential QB in the stands - but he stood TALL when it counted in MUST WIN rivalry games and I'll always respect him for that.
  8. Sanchez was not a miss because 1) we REALLY didn't want him all that bad for reasons other people might like to go into (but I will not touch on here) and; 2) he was never coming here here anyway. tOSU bound all the way. Would like to wish him the best, but... fuck tOSOU. Also I expect another Denver Harris type situation, tbh - or worse - and I'm not solid on him AT ALL as a "good kid." On the plus side, we get to see aggy, many of whom are ABSOLUTELY SURE they're getting him, get left at altar yet again. Which is always good for a hearty laugh. Plus, it may be even funnier than the Kris Boyd and Holton Hill decisions put together (remember Luicici trying to arguue with Boyd? This could be even better!) if enough of those goobers drank the maroon kool aid. Good clean fun, IMO
  9. In addition to being very big, he also looks pretty damn fast and seems to have solid hands. Maybe we'd be interested in targeting McAlister as a replacement for Mitchell since he's probably gone after this year?
  10. Stupid sip. Even the worst offenses in the SEC would hang 77 on any BDF team Legette being out bailed them out so bad. If USCe's OC had even half a brain (and that's anyone's guess. He IS a football coach, after all, so I'm skeptical), he would have just gone to him on every other play and aggy wouldn't have ever been able to find an answer
  11. That too. Just unbelievable how much wasted DL talent at aggy. I can't believe more of them haven't transferred already, bags or no bags (although I'm sure there's more coming this offseason). I genuinely wonder how many of those guys are blowing their shot at the pros. A Whataburger sack stuffed with 10s and 20s is peanuts compared to NFL money
  12. You mean you don't think having 3 down lineman with 82 on the roster is good strategy? You, sir, must not be squeezing hard enough
  13. You'd think with Elijah Robinson and a a DL group that's basically 7-deep with four and five stars, they'd at least be decent at rushing the passer enough to cover for their wretched secondary a little bit. But from what little aggy I've watched this season, they can't even manage that. That level of incompetence is almost impressive (something I find myself saying about them pretty regularly)
  14. I love the way mine looks. I have it on the opposite side of my metallic longhorn. I'm sure not many people know what "Texas One" is but I still think it's cool
  15. This. Ewers is a better runner than Murphy. And it's by a decent margin. Maalik has a bigger arm but that's really his only advantage over Ewers. That said, I'll have high hopes for him
  16. Between Spencer Tillman, Tim Brando, and the refs "looking the other way" on a lot obvious holding and PI no calls, I'm glad to get the win but I only enjoyed watching the first 1.5 quarters of that shitshow of a broadcast. I can't wait until we never have to here those two clowns ever again - their anti-Texas bis is just SO palpable. And I certainly won't miss the worst, most biased refereeing crews in CFB either. Can't wait to get the hell away from these dicks - and I REALLY hope Quinn is OK I cannot express enough how much I look forward to seeing what's left of the Big XII swept into the dustbin of CFB history, right next to the Great West, Virginia Commonwealth Conference, the Dakota Athletic Conference, the Big West Conference, the Midwest Intercollegiate Football Conference, the New England Football Conference, and many, many others
  17. I definitely wouldn't mind if they were in Wesco's ear, especially with Clemson seemingly fading - particularly on offense. I don't think he's in the same tier as Wingo but I'd still take him in a heartbeat
  18. You're right - I shoud've used different wording. He's definitely an amazing football player and, like I said, we would take him in a heartbeat. But I'm not sure he's not overranked. He just doesn't seem to have that same level of explosiveness and athletcism as someone like Wingo or Hudson
  19. Exactly. I keep reading those dipshits saying "I'm here for the Horns' tears" or "there must be so many Horns tears." What fucking tears? Show me some actual screenshots, you aggy imbiciles - ones that don't come from cesspools filed with chicken little morons like OB and 247. Did anyone, even on those dumbass sites, actually think he was coming here? Did anyone really care? We've know where Bussey was going for months and none of us give much of a shit. I'm sure we would have taken him but we have bigger fish to fry like Wingo (and, if the football gods are kind, Wesco). No one here gives a shit because: 1) we're going to be just fine at WR with or without Bussey; 2) we knew where he was going and never cared that much; and 3) I don't think anyone here is all that blown away by him. He just doesn't seem to "pop" on film looks pretty overrated
  20. Not only that but he looks FAST for a dude that big. He's definitely not as big and strong as Banks at that age but his ability to pull and obliterate would-be tacklers on rushing plays is top notch https://www.hudl.com/video/3/13698521/63414a12688ea715fcb9595f
  21. Amazing. If it was anyone but I'd aggy, I'd be 99.9% convinced that this was posted by someone from this board. I'm still thinking the odds of that are like 60%. But only aggy would get that so little benefit of the doubt. Do they have even the faintest recollection of what happened when Johnson played against anyone with half a pulse last year? Eventually, some D will absolutely crush him if Weigman isn't back soon and they'll be starting... uh... Can Ainias Smith play QB?
  22. Williams, Goosby, Agbo, and now Baker with an outside shot at Weston Davis and DeAndre Carter. Not to mention Campbell, Umeozulu, Cruz, Kibble, Chatman, Kirkland, Stroh, Cojoe, Hutson, and Robinson - and they're all being coached and developed by Flood. Talk about a First World Problem. This OL is going to be absolutely filthy for years. We could have Vondrell McGree, Antwon Cobb, Tristian Houston, Kyle Porter, Danny Young, or Toneil Carter runnning behind them and probably still average more than 5 ypc. Hell, post-injury Kevin Shorter could probably get 4 or even 4.5. Instead, we've got or are getting Brooks, Baxter, Gibson, Clark, and even guys like Blue and Red (who I would desparately like to see get more carries, btw) Someone hit the nail on the head: this is how Bama and Georgia were built.
  23. Here's his Junior HUDL for anyone interested. I'm not a "WATCH TEH TAPPPEE!!" guy but, god damn, this dude moves like someone half his size: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/13698521/63414a12688ea715fcb9595f From my VERY amateur perspective, I don't think he's quite as talented as Banks, but there's absolutely ZERO shame in that and he still looks like an absolute monster. As someone else pointed out, continuing to get guys like this is how you become Bama/UGA. I am beyond stoked to get his commit
