  1. I have to wonder what's going on on his head... "This is a BRILLIANT idea! There's no way this could possibly end in disaster for me like literally everything else in my life has. This time's going to be different!" I really hope he does this. The inevitable train wreck will be amazing.
  2. Even after watching the Herman shitshow in real time, it still blows my mind what absolutely atrocious developers he and nearly all of his staff were. I will always wonder how many potential NFL talents never made the cut because of Herman and his merry band of fuck ups. It's absolutely criminal - and in a just world, he would paying those kids out of his buyout.
  3. I mean, maybe not every brisket I've smoked is perfect - some are OK, some are pretty damn good - but I have never produced anything even close to as bad as that dried out lump of shit
  4. Nothing says "love and forgiveness" quite like publicly shaming teenagers who decided not to go to your favorite school.
  5. I thought he made some really, really nice throws. He had some... weird ones too but I think this was the best we've seen him look. Great to see him improving with every game.
  6. After the amazing, not at all COVID impacted season, aggy just had, how can there be any doubt? The Premier In-State SEC Program™
  7. Ah, the old "undersized/under-recruited skill player with plenty of speed who goes Tech, TCU, OSU, etc.and then resents UT forever" thing. I can't imagine how this could ever wind up being trouble for us. http://www.hudl.com/v/2ENySv
  8. Shit, who can blame them? I'm not an especially huge fan of our ILB situation either. Anyway, he looks reasonably fast on his Senior HUDL, plays some ILB, and PJ Fleck once called him "an absolute stud." Might be a solid addition if they can get him in. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/7926974/5dc8aa7123476b10a0395363
  9. That first TD pass was a sweet throw. Also, #77 is my new favorite player. He's already better than Terrell Cuney just by virtue of being ~2.5 meters wide.
  10. As expected, Ketchum was bringing the next level reporting that made him (in)famous.
  11. That's pretty damn impressive - especially when you consider the fact that he's running for his life behind that OL half the time. I'd be worried about batted balls with his throwing motion but he looks so accurate in those clips and throws on the run so well.
  12. Agreed. Not sure I'd call him "underrated" with all of the hype he came in with. Maybe he didn't quite live up to that hype but isn't that the opposite of underrated? Pretty sure he was a preseason All-American a couple of times. I'm guessing he was on some other award watchlists too. Are they including him just because he didn't make it in the NFL? Because I seem to remember him being talked up a lot while he was still in college? Edit: and, yes, definitely some of the best high school highlights I've seen.
  13. I will admit that I have no idea how to evaluate players or anything but to my very untrained eye, that looks like a really big, fast kid who's some good development and coaching away from being really, really good.
  14. Nothing says "this guy deserves way more respect" like a career completion percentage of 54.6%, a record of, what, 14-20 (?) as a starter, and getting benched in favor of a freshman during your senior year.
  15. Same song, different verse. They spent the entirety of the Mack years hiding under OU's skirt - even during the five year period when Mack went 4-1 against Stoops. The aggy rationalizations in 2008 were some of my favorites. "You got lucky when you beat us (by 40 points) but if you played OU again later in the season, they'd kill you (even though you won by 10 in October)."
  16. The stupidity in these comments is so thick you could cut it with a knife. Terrible grammar, lack/misuse of punctuation, a pretty egregious "there/their/they're" mistake, and the insane belief that Maalik doesn't have a strong arm. It's almost impressive, really.
  17. Happy to hear that. It's nice to know that we're totally covered when we need someone to lose four yards on a slow developing outside run play on 4th and 1. Seriously - I'm glad Young's back. And I'm even happier that Tom Herman won't be calling the plays for him anymore.
  18. This. I generally like Gerry and he's obviously better at what he does than I am. But watching the limited amount of highlights for Blue does not make me think that breaking tackles is especially problematic for him. I'd say it's the opposite, actually. He looks like he's got great balance and enjoys running through people. This is an awesome pickup
  19. This is amazing. "Oh, i-i-it’s broken down alright, Morty. <BELCH> I knew it wasn’t worth my time. I-I don’t owe you shit regarding your mouth- your mouthbreather question, Morty! <BURP>"
  20. That is some truly impressive commitment to fielding a shitty team that hates its coaches. I might have to watch whatever FAU games are televised next season just to see the train wreck. Maybe they can bring in Yancy too?
  21. I realize that Brooks isn't exactly playing against world beating competition but his senior HUDL is something else. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/8423068/5fe2d417a023891b5ca5c8a2
  22. Maybe there's something I'm not aware of here but that definitely seems like it wouldn't suck.
