  1. Didn't the zebras bail out OUsux from similar Kansas fate? Not our standard and all, but just sayin'
  2. Yeah, didn't consider the support staff angle of infrastructure, as I'm stuck on the recruiting angles still
  3. How the hell is the infrastructure still not on par? At this point, everything the program is doing should be at the level or exceeding what those hillfucks in Alabama have done. Fuck, I'm still pissed that OU-like-shit-tier school aggressively recruits this state. First it was football, now it's a problem in basketball, and there are still billboards in Dallas advertising their podunk program for out-of-state acceptance. The locker room has had a makeover through each of the past coaches' tenure, the SEZ project brough on new facilities, what more is left beyond a Nike-south remote campus to remain top-tier in infrastructure?
  4. How in the blue fuck do Kirby and Jimbo get a $SEC-free pass to drop bags everywhere and keep the heat off them from Birmingham, but the minute Hugh Freeze tried getting it rolling in Oxford, he got slapped down and ran off? Is there some sort of lifetime access only Saban assistants are granted? If so, will Miami return to 'convicts' era ball soon?
  5. https://www.espn.com/college-football/game/_/gameId/340010239 Despite recruiting well enough on defense, those Phil Bennett years were rough
  6. Yeah but not before prior NY6 bowl losses to Sparty and UCF, both games they let slip by spectacularly
  7. That's what people with hyphenated surnames sound like.
  8. Welp, now that it's cancelled, I'm shifting to Bob Moses + Cassian set list at The Concourse Project. Never heard of the venue, Bob Moses fucks but I'm concerned this could be sketch.
  9. +1, I'm supposed to be driving down from Dallas for this NYE plan. REALLY pissed this plan blew up.
  10. So why aren't we also playing the bag game? I knew it would come down to this with aggy, those FedEx envelopes were replenished with Jimbo and Emmert not giving a shit. Is this another reason why Plonsky should be sent to pasture?
  11. Baylor's OOC 38 - 24 win over BYU pretty much settles the 'transitive property' argument of the current P5 status of the B12. This season, BYU, not even a G5-member, went on a 5-0 run vs PAC-12 members on their slate.
  12. OP failing to give credit to Sparty for "Coaching-inflation-is-transitory" by giving a guy with a 16-14 record that same contract Kelly just got, 10 years/$95 million. However, we remain The Joneses for coaching dead money, so thread title is invalid.
  13. LR will find a way to correct it, and it's not a feature that needs any special attention (being at USC), but right now, Sark has greater pull on west-coast talent than Lincoln ever could sniff. Once Sark rights the ship with talent, I'm looking forward to future skill position battles on recruiting out of AZ, NV, CA and WA. Lincon's pull from Texas and the Midwest will wane after a few classes. The defense side of the ball brings chuckles, realizing BYU may eventually recruit Texas better than USC will, three years down the line.
  14. I'd also love to see some sort of $9.95 spin that indicates Sark is going to yeet half of the roster and the '22 team will be re-recruited on conditional scholarships and portal transfers... by dudes who are COMPETING to be on the field. Just sayin', becuase I won't be happy unless the team turns over 35-40 positions.
  15. Well the latest rumor is that Herman joins Napier in Gainesville to run the offense. 😵
  16. Which way is the CRT thread, again? Ask a high schooler, I suppose.
  17. Saw Lord Huron outdoors at the new Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth Friday night. Over a full moon, it was quite a welcome back to enjoying live music again.
  18. Thanks for the heads up, I just snagged a pair. Better than spending NYE in Dallas.
  19. I feared that's how Grinch would have planned OU to start the game last weekend, but their middle and LBs are as soft as ours, then Casey lit them up with the deep ball. Thankfully, stretching out the field on homerun threats like that have kept opposing defenses from doing just that from the start. Of course then the pass pro breaks down, Casey can't make a second read and even short screens are blown up. When a deep ball is delivered on the first read, it's dropped.
  20. It's been that way for 8 years, egregious the past 6, and nothing has been done about it. My interest in any team/game/outcome in this entire conference has been exhausted, as if the whole thing is a limp dick black hole. Burn it down on the way out.
  21. So we actually do fit in the SEC
  22. The primary downfield camera angle on ABC wasn't entirely conclusive but the backside angle revealed his arm in a forward motion with release of the ball that would have ruled it a fumble. Of course Riley knows what's going on and rushes to get the next play in while officials stare at each other in confusion doing jack shit to call a review. Sark needs to understand this is SoP in the B12 and 0U does this shit every year, even in the CCG. I recall Baylor taking it to them with Rhule in the 1H and ISU getting fucked on plays that weren't reviewed with Riley pushing things along on the other side.
  23. The only thing that enrages me further is those fraudulent red dirt fucks will chalk their win up as if they earned it, especially after the rest of the conference bends over to let their way back into Arlington. I don't know why I even look forward to this game year over year and I've realized that it's not worth my time or money until we've moved to the SEC.
  24. Maybe Baylor beats OU by the same metric, as much as OUsux has struggled through their slate thus far, with LB depth somehow worse than ours.
