  1. Universally-understood, common sports-related catchphrase: "Winning cures all ills" Nobody, absolutely no one: ... Tom Herman, $5.2M annual compensation: "Winning is hard"
  2. Man, the news goes from bad to worse. Unfortunately, I'm here to tell you that Jack Daniels ain't bourbon. Sent from my Pixel 4a (5G) using Tapatalk
  3. Rustbelt $9.95... adjusted street value of $6.82.
  4. His contributions after that statement were appropriate-- not complimentary, but somewhat factual. I also agree with his sentiment of offering a decision swiftly, before more damage is done. I don't know what's going on in the locker room or what's been said already, but the players are performing like they know their opportunity is NOW to show effort and to look better on film. As if they might suspect someone new is studying them.
  5. We still collecting $15M annually from Mouse for LHN through mid-2031. Herbie should know his role.
  6. Fox segment on Gaylord Fockers. Fuck you, if we had a coaching tree worth a shit, OU's QB accolades would be a shade of what they've become. Such a shit day of media coverage, I'm turning the TV off and spending the rest of the day outside. Today somehow feels worse to me than the final days of Charlie Lulz. Since then, the conference has only regressed, the agenda of officiating to offense production over defense is cemented, and football around the nation looks far gimpier/softer than even the worst programs of the early aughts.
  7. That all reads like $9.95 speculation to me. And this situation is too tight-lipped for them to know shit.
  8. Stoops is back on campus now, too. Do it for the spite. Also have a home-and-home with tOSU in 2025-26. Probably not enough time for Alabama in 2022-23.
  9. S90 is slow but you probably have a VLB behind it so it doesn't make a shit.
  10. Identified: Futureman's bettor who has to perform the fisting. Oh, he'll be packing, alright.
  11. Well the emojis align on HSB, but damn that's out there. Is there a BMD connection to HSB, property or venue?
  12. HSB is a bit out there, and to be courted by the University, I just don't believe they'd choose that venue. They'd accommodate him at the University AT&T venue across from Moncrief, unless that's been vacated. Campus has been practically closed for a month. Play at ACC or UTGC, simple. Holy shit, it's fucking bizarre to remind myself of the riches this University has to lure any BSD down to Austin... and we got a narcissist for $32M+, WTF.
  13. GG KXAN graphic guy, he got the memo from the University and honored their changes for [interim] head coach ahead of the weekend, for which it was requested.
  14. Now I realize this was likely in response to the Russell Westbrook trade.
  15. This is a fine week for Ohio State fans to also discover their two remaining conference games are likely canceled due to Covid. List of things not CFP eligible: Tom Herman Ohio State
  16. One of them is really fixed on OU sports, pretty sure it's the Ticket. There was another thread here not long ago with DFW posters recalling their slander of the team during Mack's years, even when he won it all.
  17. Must be the Ticket then. Don't think I'm missing out on anything by not following DFW sports radio.
  18. Isn't 105.3 Norman-lite sports radio? Not a P1, don't listen to their schtick, fuck OU.
  19. Post anything remotely snarky and you'll get the whole SEC conference mouthbreathing contingent to neg you to oblivion. It's a shit venue where nobody knows shit anyhow and the entire group hinges on what/where ESPN's College GameDay is doing.
  20. Fuck Reddit, and especially fuck r/CFB. For anyone browsing this thread from there, go back to your groupthink handjob karma bullshit. Suck my bucknuts, too.
  21. Do you even Instagram, bro?
  22. Ironically, unfucking the parity, substandard officiating and illogical scheduling (round robin + CCG) of the B12 might be the most significant agenda a new coach should bring to the program.
  23. At least it was an easy fix and hopefully done on the automaker's dime. Also good job quickly identifying the issue and not ignoring it, as prolonged fuel dilution breaks down the base and friction modifiers in the oil. Did they complete an oil change over the service visit?
  24. +1, it's a problem around the conference, not unique to Texas. One of the first opportunities I'd like to see from an experienced HC take right to the Conference Head Office and Media to address, in spite the number of flags drawn on the field.
  25. They're bad enough that our shit team took them to 4 OTs in Dallas and on any one of our scoring possessions in OT, Turdle Tom could have gone for two, pushed it in and walked out with a W. They're also bad on the scale of strength/depth/starts compared to past OU rosters over the last decade. I wouldn't be nearly as concerned about our defense if we faced them again in Arlington-- it's that our offense has regressed into dertpitude and wouldn't put points on the board.
