  1. They just came in. Perdue lead down to around 9k.
  2. Does the so called president know what year it is?
  3. You just need some youtube videos with ominous voiceovers. That only actually depict people, gasp, counting votes. But if the voiceover is ominous enough you'll convince 45% of the country that there's some evil plot.
  4. How will Loeffler challenge Georgia? Will she be certified the winner by tomorrow?
  5. No. The seat for SD-45 is currently vacant, because the PA GOP refused to swear in the Dem winner from that district.
  6. If trump is dead or in jail, Don, Jr. or Ivanka will run. And Donny Two Scoops will have been a martyr in which they drone on about how mistreated he was leading to his death or imprisonment, incessantly.
  7. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills reading this board, or in general these days. The GOP is trying to overturn the election. The president wants the VP to unilaterally select the next president, cause why have a fucking election anyway. The so-called president also asked the Georgia Secretary of State to fabricate votes in his favor. Meanwhile, we're debating Covid relief, the Dems prospects in the House in 2022, etc. We are the frogs and we've been boiled.
  8. This is all an ego thing, and I don't think Cruz or Hawley expects it to work. But they aren't at all worried about the 2022 election or the 2024 election. If this works, there won't be a free and fair election in 2022 or 2024. If this doesn't work, then their egos are satisfied and they built up cred with their moronic base and they'll be seen as traitors by the non-morons. Exactly where they're at right now anyway.
  9. If Cruz pulls this off, there won't ever be a free and fair election again. There will be bloodshed if he pulls it off, but this won't end in democracy continuing.
  10. FFS. We have an entire other thread about Senate Republicans trying to destroy democracy, and install a trump dictatorship. And we are all of three days out from when the GOP president tried to extort this state's governor to fabricate votes, a move that at least one of the current GOP candidates supports. I'm not sure how anyone can say who wins these races is meaningless.
  11. Yeah, but that wouldn't be the Secret Service's job. That would fall to the DC police department for trespassing. Or maybe the FBI?
  12. Nebraska and Maine, the two states that currently "proportionally" split their EC votes, both allocate them by congressional district. For instance, under this scenario, WI has 8 congressional districts, 5 are GOP, 3 dem. There would be a 5-5 split with EC votes, despite Biden winning the state. And that's before the shenanigans that take place with the gerrymander after the HoR is increased.
  13. The first decent response from a GOP Senator, and it comes from WV of all places.
  14. The gerrymandering will only be worse with proportional allotment of electors. MI, WI, and PA electors would have gone for trump under this system. But agree the House of Reps needs to be increased in size.
  15. Also if she had secret clients, particularly politically connected clients, she's putting the entire firm at risk for conflicts/malpractice. What if the firm represented Biden, Raffensberg, some Georgia political entities, etc.? Hell, at least in theory, Raffensberger could have retained Foley to represent him in the pending lawsuit, and Cleta's engagement by Trump would never have shown up on a conflict check. You can't have secret clients from your law firm.
  16. Here's the lawsuit trump had made up "settlement discussions" over, and which under made up law were privileged.
  17. I'm not sure what you're suggesting. But trump filed many suits and lost nearly all of them, including the suits in Georgia. And even if there was an active suit to "settle," telling the other side to fabricate evidence or you'll go after them isn't in any way shape or form a "settlement discussion." Hell, even if someone somewhere thinks this is a settlement discussion, that doesn't make it better. it's not exactly legal to sue someone and then offer to settle with them if they fabricate evidence. It doesn't matter what litigation was or was not filed---this is illegal. And any attorney involved in this also committed election crimes. And anyone stupid enough to file suit as trump's lawyers said he did, should be disbarred.
  18. It is way beyond time to start disciplining the lawyers who file this crap.
