  1. Wait until Otro figures out that some along the lines of 7-5 is the perfect football season to have for generating revenue. Enough to keep butts in seats, but doesn't require too much investment in coach and player payroll. I wouldn't want a PE group to buy my favorite pro franchises. The best owners are usually the ones who have fuck you money and are more worried about winning than turning a profit. Also, once a PE group is involved, why would anyone every donate to an athletic department again? You want me to donate to the new (indoor practice facility, weight room, locker room, etc) so you don't have to build it yourself and all the profits go to your investors? No thanks.
  2. The same day that Florida hires UK alum, Jon Sumrall.
  3. Saw this tweet and it made me think of this thread. Haven't seen any updates in a while. Guess Moose is in the final stages of prepping for winter.
  4. Just sharing an Arkansas baseball commit that seems appropriate for this thread.
  5. If you owe money to the mob, they can get you do things...
  6. By all indications he did coke in the early 80's, like everyone. While certainly not good for your heart, likely had nothing to do with him having a heart attack in 1994.
  7. I haven't seen this yet, but what are we upset about it glossing over? He was an obese guy, who smoked and had heart disease all throughout his family. Obviously wasn't healthy.
  8. Some of the cars could've made a different decision in that split second, and he may or may not have been convicted of the original charges, but he was the cause for the chain of events. If you watch that video, the green charger is the first thing the witnesses start blaming. He knew he probably caused it. He left the scene and immediately called an attorney. Very sad that he felt the need to take his life, especially before this played out. Will never know what was going through his head. I bet he could've plead the charges down.
  9. Question for those that follow it more than me - Does Evan Carter still have a (bright) future with the Rangers?
  10. Based on Chuckie's post, one player actually spoke and he agreed with his message, but then Chuckie looked around and assumed 80% of the fans and 90% of the players were MAGA. Just based on looks. He couldn't enjoy a Savannah Bananas game because 90+% of the players (in uniform, mind you) LOOKED like they were probably MAGA.
  11. No one was pissed about this in 1982
