  1. I'm just saying, I feel like he would play in both or neither. I guess we'll see.
  2. Fair. I think he is very different than AP but I could see him being the second best NFL Longhorn RB of all time in 8-10 years. I haven't been a fan of a particular NFL team since the Oilers left Houston but I am going to become a fan of whoever drafts him. I am super excited that we have a chance to see a Longhorn drafted in the top 5, 10 spots for the first time in a LONG time.
  3. https://espnpressroom.com/us/press-releases/2022/11/finalists-announced-for-32nd-annual-edition-of-espns-the-home-depot-college-football-awards-show/ I looked into this because of the volleyball game attendance angle and everything I can find seems like this is just a 2 hour show produced by ESPN. Like no stage or anything like that. They probably have the winner on a zoom call or something, if that.
  4. My wife recently started carrying one of my Civivis, made me proud. I think someone here on one of the knife threads recommended it. Cogent, button lock flipper in Damascus and green micarta. I love both flippers and button locks so it is probably my favorite Civivi.
  5. Isn't Rojo going to the Senior Bowl? He seems like a ride or die guy so it would surprise me a lot if he was gonna sit our bowl game out but play in that.
  6. Did they get burned though? I don't really follow the NFL beyond fantasy and the playoffs but it seemed like Ezekiel was pretty good on his first contract. Big 2nd contracts to RBs don't work out very often. And the Giants wanted to extend Barkley, who is having a good year. I'm sure they will tag him if they can't get him to sign.
  7. Obviously it depends on who ends up with the picks but it seems like he could easily be a top 5 selection https://walterfootball.com/draft2023RB.php 12/3/22: In 2022, Robinson has averaged 6.1 yards per carry for 1,580 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also has 19 receptions for 314 yards and two scores. Robinson is potentially the best player in the 2023 NFL Draft, and pro teams think he posseses rare ability and superstar potential. As we reported in the Hot Press, sources from a number of teams have Robinson graded higher than other recent top-five running back prospects of Saquon Barkley, Leonard Fournette and Ezekiel Elliott. Here is what one area scout shared with WalterFootball.com:
  8. There's no fucking way it should be Corum over Bijan. His stats are better in every category except rushing TDs where they are tied.

  11. So when are we gonna know who is gonna skip this? There should be a presser this week no? I want to say I read they start practice Friday.
  12. No one mentioned TCU because they came out of nowhere. They have to be the first preseason unranked team to make it to the CFP. I want to say before this year all the CFP teams have been preseason top 10s. So even if they get thumped, which historically most 3/4s have, what they accomplished was unprecedented in the CFP era.
  13. Bijan, Rojo, Whitt all playing confirmed! No Worthy in the graphic not a great sign.
  14. They were unranked so highly unlikely.
  15. One of the problems with Heisman voting is that you can turn in your ballot before the last regular season/conference championship games have been played. I think this year they were handed out Nov 28 and you have until Dec 6 to turn them in. Fax them in? Not sure how it works exactly, but I know they get them for a week+. So Caleb Williams had likely gotten a ton of votes before Utah beat his ass a second time and before he displayed a strong case of loser's limp on prime time TV. I am sure there is a non-significant number of people who had Williams-Duggan 1-2 who would flip that after watching their last games. They should have an electronic vote system that is only open from midnight Sunday to midnight Monday.
  16. Are you drunk or is this auto-correct or both?
  17. LSU got destroyed and now has 4 losses? Utah and K State have 3? No way those teams are getting in over a 1 loss P5.
  18. Perhaps, but they would be. They would just drop to 3, TCU would move to 2 and Ohio State would be 4.
  19. I can't believe anyone thinks TCU would drop 2 spots after a 3 point OT loss at a neutral site to a top 15 team. I think USC will drop to 7. Two losses to the same team and the most recent one was a beat down after being up 17-3. Ohio State gets in at #4. This is one of those years, like most in the CFP era, where the BCS formula picking the top 2 would have been fine. It's hard to see 3/4 winning out most years and the first round games are largely terrible. 5-12 in 2024 though? That would be some fantastic matchups, minus Tulane who would get completely worked. Auto bids to the top 6 conference champs is like a diversity hire. G5 teams are going to get smoked in the first round annually.

    Fuck Big 12 refs

I don't think they will drop to 4 but I especially don't think they drop out of the CFP. The committee is not going to stage a UM-OSU rematch and a 2 loss idle Bama, the 4th best team in the SEC, is not going to jump into the CFP.

    Fuck Big 12 refs

They didn't. TCU will stay at 3. I don't see them dropping after a 3 point OT loss at a neutral site to a ranked team.
  22. This isn't 2014. TCU is in and they aren't going to get leapfrogged by an idle Ohio State. I would be shocked if its anything other than UGA UM TCU Ohio State.
  23. I thought the Bear send off segment in the middle of the show was pretty good. Seemed like genuine admiration and respect from everyone.
