  1. https://sportsurge.net usually has everything.
  2. I was surprised because Arkansas is not a good team and really haven't been since leaving the SWC. They are in the bottom half of the 14 team conference as well as in their 7 team division. Yeah it's definitely a rivalry anyone on the Texas side was dumb as shit for suggesting or stating otherwise. That's not an excuse for this performance though. What specifically surprised me was the softness of both lines. I know a million people have said it but when the O line just stands around letting late hits on their QB go unpunished that is a mortal sin. Their future children should feel the wrath that Flood should mete out on them this week. I don't think QB play was the deciding factor in the loss, not nearly. But it was a little bit surprising Card was left in as long as he was. His targets weren't helping him but he was flat out missing way too many throws. The offensive play calling was maybe Sark's worst collegiate effort? It was predictable, and it was not working and he didn't seem to ever change it. Even changing QBs, Casey was just better at taking what the defense was giving and it was garbage time as well. Every drive seemed to be decent run play first down, stuffed run play second down, missed throw/dropped ball 3rd down. The end. Finally the most egregious thing to me was the lack of significant adjustment at the half. At the very least I expected a dramatically different, simpler blocking scheme for the line. A 3 man front beat them all night. No excuse for that. They looked worse, execution wise, than a decent high school O line does in Texas. I thought this was a good hire but after game 2 I am very worried we have Post-Mack 3.0 on our hands. I mean granted Strong is the literal worst hire in the entire history of the program but for all his flaws Herman never had a team get beat to fuck, and quit, like this in his 4 years. This 19 point game felt like a much bigger ass kicking from a much shittier roster. And for all the hype the staff got, they shit the bed worse than the players. Out coached across the board.
  3. Wolken is one of the guys who covers sports yet seems to hate them and what they represent. I'm pretty sure he was in the cancel the season camp last year.
  4. KOTOR is one of the best games ever made. And it was an Xbox exclusive originally, PC later in the year. Crazy that was 18 years ago now. I bought an Xbox to play it and don't regret it. I would have a PS5 right now if you could impulse buy them...still hard to believe they aren't in stock all the time almost a year after release. KOTOR will get me to actively search for one as the release gets closer
  5. I don't know what his background is but Scipio is the only after-action report worth reading. Every other one reads like Joe Dipshit just took notes from his couch while watching the broadcast feed and put up a post on his Wordpress site.
  6. I'm 48 and I never get over the first loss of the season for at least a week or two. We effectively lost by 4 possessions. This was a 19 point game that never felt close. Against what can best be described as our historic 3rd most relevant rival. Oh and do I need to point out that they are generally next to last in the SEC West since they've joined? The conference we'll be playing in next year?
  7. I knew they were terrible. They would not have been ranked this year, or last, had they not beaten ISU in week 1 2020 in a fucked Covid season where they were super lucky to win that game anyway. That said, even though they sucked I thought we looked good against them just because I thought we were keeping it vanilla. I was wrong.
  8. It became a 4 TD game with 10 minutes left in the 4th. What he did with 5 mins left didn't make a shit. What he did the week leading up to this was the fucking issue.
  9. I don't know what I am doing with my life to look forward to this shit every year. This was an emasculating loss there is no coming back from. Another season rendered pointless well before October. Where have I seen this before?
  10. I don't see any scenario where he leaves for LSU unless they guarantee, at a minimum, every dollar he'd be leaving on his Aggie contract. I don't LSU is dumb enough to do that though.
  11. Week Zero's finally available today https://www.nike.com/t/air-zoom-pegasus-38-tennessee-mens-running-shoe-6T1Nn3/DJ0858-001 edit: I don't know why the link says Tennessee...those are the Texas ones.
  12. Vacation Friends. Hulu movie that I had no intention of watching, let alone liking. This movie is funny if a little long and telegraphed. Sideways. I had only ever seen this once a long time ago. It aged well and was better than I remembered and I remembered it being good.
  13. Total Wine sells it for $150-160 and sometimes on sale for $120.
  14. Back during one of the Obama era ammo scares, I sold some Russian corrosive steel milsurp on Texas Gun Trader. In retrospect I wish I had not sold it but I was broke-ish at the time and needed cash. Anecdotal but I had like 3 offers within a day. One of them wanted me to trade (even though I said no trades), one of them wanted me to drive half to the next nearest big Texas city to meet (even though I said I wouldn't meet outside of my city), and the last one being a simple "Yeah I want it, I have cash where do you want to meet?". But yeah if you are in one of the four big metro areas I bet you'll get a lot of hits. 54R has sucked since the ban on the Russian milsurp. It basically tripled in price over night. This new ban on all Russian shit is going to suck.
  15. I was surprised to see the crazy goddess chick going home so soon. I thought they would have milked that. She had the only nice set of tits on the show so they better fix that soon. Also a bit surprised to see Demi back looking for dick after her lesbian antics in the last BIP. Who holds the record for most BIP season appearances? She's got at least 3 I can remember.
  16. There was a doc on this guy and some of the people he fucked over. Like an hour or so on Hulu. He's a real piece of shit and she's almost certainly aware of it and complicit in his crimes at this point.
  17. Exactly one entry for 5.45x39 on ammoseek. 50 cents a round for steel case before tax+shipping. 7.62x39 has more availability but ridiculous pricing. 50-55 cents for milsurp corrosive 60+ cents for Russian steel case. This will really fuck people like me who tended to shoot Russian calibers but its going to fuck everyone. I don't think people realize how much of the US ammo supply comes from Russia.

Russian ammo imports coming to an end... https://www.state.gov/fact-sheet-united-states-imposes-additional-costs-on-russia-for-the-poisoning-of-aleksey-navalny This sucks ass.
  19. Week Zeros allegedly still coming...supposed to be out September 1.
  20. That is what infuriates me the most. A crowd sourced script from Reddit would have destroyed what we got from those two shitheads. How did HBO not see this coming? Who read through that and thought "Yeah, this is great!".
  21. I found out yesterday the dude from 247, Josh Pate, created and wrote the show. Seems random but apparently he's written other movies and TV as well.

I don't think they are frangible. I think its just a polymer coating that is supposed to reduce wear and minimize fouling in your barrel. They make a 150gr load that is subsonic, that is the only one I have shot. Looking back to my last order I paid .26 a round delivered in June of 2019. Currently SGAmmo has the 147gr in stock for .50/round before tax and shipping.
  23. I was a bookfag but not a diehard. I stumbled on the series when the first 3 had been published and read them all in a ridiculously short period of time. And then the wait began for the 4th book. Which fucking sucked, compared to the first 3. Then the wait for 5 was even longer and the book was not much better than 4. lol 10 years later and we still don't have book 6? Unbelievable. The TV show blew my mind. I had high expectations and the series exceeded them. I honestly thought the first 5-6 seasons were great. They run together for me and I'm not going to revisit them in detail. Season 7 had some serious issues. Season 8 though...no way that should have been approved by HBO. They should have fired those guys when they read the scripts and paid someone for a rewrite, whatever the cost. The fucked up every major storyline and flat out ruined the legacy of the show. I can't believe those dipshits got another gig.
  24. If you want lower gas prices maybe don't shut down US oil and gas projects? Also the sector was very different when Bush made those comments. Shale boom was just getting started in his second term and was nowhere near its peak.
