  1. https://www.47brand.com/collections/texas-longhorns VALENTINE25 for 25% off and free shipping if you join their loyalty program. Code was automatically applied for me.
  2. I want to know who replied "Thay are not". Hard pass on that dude.
  3. Isn't the scholarship cap increased for 2021 because of the free eligibility from 2020? I thought I heard the cap is 94 for 2021 but goes back to 85 in 2022.
  4. Never seen that clip, that was great. Team Applewhite my whole life and it may have changed my mind. It's hilarious that Simms knows Applewhite's body fat percentage numbers. And 27 something seems high for a QB.
  5. Anyone a member at https://www.bigdaddyunlimited.com/ ? I was wondering if they had ammo and what prices were like there.
  6. If you are playing on PC this is a pretty helpful guide on Steam for improving FPS https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2314931764 For me personally, the PoolCPU and PoolGPU changes worked wonders.
  7. For this quest you can actually hack to find her. On the ground floor of that market there is an area inside with a few arcade cabinets, around there you can find clues to where the lady is. You definitely need a certain level of technical ability to get access, I forget how much. I think this game is good but it was never going to meet the insane level of hype and expectation that a game 8 years in the making from the makers of Witcher 3 would have. To me it feels like a knock off GTA game set in the future. It is surprising how many things it does worse than GTA let alone RDR2 or even the Witcher 3. The car driving is so fucking bad. Games made literally decades ago had better physics/handling on the PC. I have not gone very far down the main story path, I have mostly been doing the cop side missions as an excuse to shoot different guns. Most of these missions are throw aways that almost seem procedurally generated but then every once in a while they have a decent backstory and lead to other quests. The loot system is too much. It's like a Borderlands game turned up to 11. I do like how you can upgrade gear so you don't have to outlevel a favorite gun if you dont want to...but man there is just so much shit to sift through. OCD in me can't leave a battlefield until its picked clean and there are some missions/quests where that is quite a challenge. I very much like the breach protocol mini game. Upgrading your main cyberware hardware thing helps a lot with this and there some pretty impactful perks very early on in the INT tree. Speaking of perks...most of them are super narrow and you really have to commit to a build/style or they end up kind of wasted. Is there a respec mechanic?
  8. My PC is something from Microcenter I got for $1300 in April, i7-9700, 2060, 16G, pair of SSDs (one added by me). At the time it was a hell of a deal for a prebuilt. This game runs pretty well for me in general at 1440. I am using Ultra settings with chromatic aberation, motion blur and film grain disabled. Not sure how much that does for frame rate, that is mostly personal preference in pretty much all games for me. I have some of the shadow settings turned down as well. Specifically, cascaded shadows resolution at high just destroyed my framerate...I thought I might end up in 1080p. Definitely set that to medium for huge gains. Ray Tracing off, DLSS set to quality. HDR scrgb (no idea what the difference in HDR settings are). My monitor is Asus 4k@60Hz so I cap framerate at 60 and Vsync. Going from 1440 to 4k is a no go for me, at least on Ultra. I half heartedly tried to get a 3070 for this in an attempt to play in 4K but can't find one for MSRP. I have not played much, just one prologue and got to V's apartment and walked around the city outside of it...had some big time graphics issues there. Screen went black, but the game didn't crash, audio was fine and the game was clearly still running. Eventually was able to get into task manager and back to the game but from there the screen was all shot to shit to the point where even tabbed out with the game running my desktop was jacked. Quitting the game fixed it. I have had some world glitches too like the game will tell me to tab to hack something and I do it but the hack menu doesn't come up. I played the Street Kid prologue and enjoyed it. I am going to play the other two and then figure out which one to stick with. I am generally a ranged/gun guy and I am pretty sure I will go that route...melee weapons seem pretty strong though. The perk choices are overwhelming to start. I went with combat regen in Body first, that seems pretty handy for any combat build. This game looks like it is going to wreck sales figures. 1 million peak players today just on Steam.

    Dragon Age

I liked the first one and Inquisition had its moments. Did not like the combat changes for DA2, definitely did not finish.
  10. Absolutely. Agree with the DR., the ending of 3 was very disappointing. I bought a 360 to play the first one. Money well spent. Andromeda (4th game not in the LE) is definitely the weak link but honestly I found it at least worth the money and I got close to finishing it.

    Joseph Ossai

12 tackles 6 TFL 3 sacks and a forced fumble...holy shit. Won the game in OT. Hard pressed to think of a more dominant defensive player performance in recent memory. As in, I can't.
  12. Speaking of CPUs, I got by with a first gen i5 760 modestly overclocked to 3Ghz for literally almost a decade, purchased fall 2010. Same mobo the whole time too. I upgraded video cards like 3 times and power supply once and put an SSD in at some point. I finally got something new a few months ago. Point is, CPU really doesn't matter much at all. GPU and then SSD are by far the biggest bang for the buck parts.
  13. It's surprising how many people think he should have scored. Not scoring was 100% the correct football play. It guaranteed victory. See Tech game. If that RB sits down at the goal line after his long run, instead of scoring, they win. See Penn State-Indiana today. Running out the clock TO END THE GAME > adding points to the scoreboard and giving the opponent the ball back. Cade Brewer knew this. Did Mensa Tom is the real question.
  14. lol Penn State gives a fuck. Probably.
  15. Not scoring was the correct football play. If the Tech RB that broke that long TD run late had sat his ass down on the 1 yard line instead of scoring, they win that game and we don't. Cade Brewer has a higher football IQ than Mensa Tom.
  16. I agree with you but I think just given all the other circumstances, if it was going to happen before then it would have already happened. Bye week, Baylor up next likely getting post-poned, perfect time to shit can him and name an interim while you work out the details with you know who. Didn't happen though. So just going with the simplest explanation I'd guess you know who isn't interested or the money for all of it just isn't there right now.
  17. Tom's buyout a paltry 15 mil and change on 12/1/20. Hopefully that date is circled on someone's calendar...
  18. Watched The Babysitter. Only knew about it because the sequel, The Babysitter: Killer Queen is out recently. The movie is great IMO. Campy slasher film. Said Babysitter is a smoke show. I don't normally enjoy campy or slasher so my bar was very low going into this which likely resulted in me calling this great instead of just good. Looking forward to the sequel.
  19. Played some over the weekend. Enough to get a full party (4 in this game) and get midway through character level 2 (EA is capped at level 4). It's an ok game but it feels WAY more like a Divine Divinity OS game than a BG game, and not because of the turn based combat. Its all the goddamn surface and physics effects. There are lots of places you have to jump. Too many barrels filled with oil. And it seems that every elemental damage item or spell leaves some kind of surface effect even if its only under the target. I thought this was out of hand by the second OS. It's not as bad here but its noticeable and takes away from the DND 5E experience...which is new to me btw...I'm not sure what the last DND CRPG I played was but I don't think it was 5E. There is a visual dice roll mechanic when you attempt skill checks in conversations, its pretty cool but it encourages save scumming IMO. Also you get stuck with whatever character did the talking (or was talked to) so like if you need wizardy type skill check but your fighter started the conversation, SOL. I don't like that. Inventory is a mess. 95% of the containers in the world are empty and 50% of the loot you pick up is trash, and not even vendor trash due to each character having a Strength influenced carry limit. The spell effects are pretty varied and well done. FWIW I have a 2060 and had a lot of graphics issues with their native Vulkan engine until I upgraded to the latest Nvidia driver. They also have a DX11 option that did work for me but its not as good looking IMO. I'm sure I will play again but I'm not jonesing for it which says a lot about the game. DND game with turn based combat is 100% my wheelhouse. Does anyone remember Temple of Elemental Evil? I played the shit out of that and that game SUCKED outside of the combat engine. Lastly, aside from the limited number of classes (just 6) and the content and level cap...it does not feel like an early access title to me. Like if I had just bought the game sight unseen, knowing nothing about OS or BG, I would be thinking this was a 'finished' game at the point I am at. Which is not to say its flawless by any means but just that it has more polish and less bugs than other release day games I've played.
  20. Yeah this is kind of me. I am sure I will play it at some point though. It's hard to believe BG2 came out 20 years ago. It immediately became my favorite CRPG of all time, at the time. I should be more enthusiastic about BG3 given that. Even though I enjoyed both of the OS games, I'm not sure this a game Larian can knock out of the park. The OS games had a level of...whimsy? that doesn't belong in a BG game but I'm afraid will be.
  21. Early Access version live today. 83G download on Steam.
  22. He actually lost to UConn his first season at UH.
