  1. Then someone should tell Sark about it so he can try it. You're right. We shouldn't raise our expectations. We should just stay the current path and be happy with a pretty good team, cause that is looking like our ceiling with Sark.
  2. No, we are not getting Cignetti, but that is not the point. Cignetti proved that to win today, you don't have to be a blue-blood. You have to be able to replace mediocre players through the portal, actually get the most out of your top athletes (who knew?), develop your players and field a well-prepared, focused and motivated team. I have no confidence that our current coach can accomplish that.
  3. Those are fair points, and Sark has been a major improvement over the mostly dog-shit coaching we've had since 2011. However, we can fairly compare Cignetti to the first two years of Mack Brown, Charlie Strong, Tom Herman and Steve Sarkesian. FYI, Indiana's 'absolutely dog-shit schedule' this season includes wins over Ohio State, Oregon and Penn State on the road.
  4. Yes, because what Indiana has achieved in two seasons isn't anywhere as impressive as what Texas has achieved under late-stage Mack Brown, Charlie Strong, Tom Herman and now Sark.
  5. Made the playoffs in year one. At Indiana. Sark was 8-5 in year two. At poor, resource-challenged Texas. I do think Sark is a better coach than Cignetti. Cignetti isn't as smart, so he has to keep his team focused and playing at a very high level throughout the game, whereas Sark can have his team come out flat like they did against Florida or in the second half vs Kentucky, Arizona State and Vanderbilt, and still pull out the win. 😡
  6. We need to be patient with Sark. I would give him at least ten years to build the program. It's simply impossible to step in and immediately have success. No coach could possibly turn around a program in year two.
  7. Colt had arguably the best NFL career possible. He mostly sat on the bench for 14 seasons, didn't get his brain puréed.
  8. This person is a head coach in the NFL. How is that possible?
  9. What's weird and pathetic is that Sark said it at two different times in the press conference. He threw PK under the bus to bail himself out but evidently isn't perceptive enough to understand that it ultimately makes him look stupid.
  10. Why does everyone hate Texas A&M?15,182 Views | 112 Replies | Last: 6 min ago by JohnClark929 Angry Jonathan Zaludek 12:05p, 12/24/25 AG Worldclass research university, excellent military history, amazing rags to riches story from innate humble agricultural beginnings to a billion dollar plus brand today. Much of college football is rigged and manipulated, unfortunately. That being said, it seems like Texas A&M being shown some favor would be good business for a lot of entities. And I'm including the best response: MagnumLoad 12:50p, 12/24/25 There is an obvious officiating bias against A&M football. The PC crowd will deny that.
  11. When you consider that Aggy played all season with their eighth-string QB behind Starkel, King, Calzada, Johnson, Henderson, Weigman, and Stowers, they actually had an outstanding season.
  12. Just out of curiosity, how would Texas "make sure no one gets hurt?"
  13. Will do and I'll mail it to you.
  14. Fair enough. I have to confess that I am a great admirer of your screen name. It's one of the coolest names on the site.
  15. Fair point, and it's strange, 'cause checking your rep, for some reason, people seem to greatly prefer my horrible posts to your brilliant, amazing and captivating efforts. Weird, right?
  16. I'm a fan, but I'm a bigger fan of Surlyhorns, and I'm looking forward to lots of funny posts about this embarrassing football game.
  17. Maybe don't read it? That is exactly what I think. Having the school represented by a large number of backup players that would normally never see playing time in a meaningless, somewhat embarrassing game against another school that will be playing scrubs actually damages the Texas brand. It's akin to Jerry Jones' horrific idea a few years ago when he proposed fielding a team of unknown players dress as the Cowboys to play exhibition games in the spring in Cowboys Stadium to generate income. Thank God that idea never took off. Throw in the fact that key players like Arch could suffer a devastating injury in this turd of an exhibition game makes no sense. At least with PK gone, Sark won't have to babysit the defense, so we can finally see what he can do on offense. 😡 I'm calling the Moldovan hotline.
  18. James Madison and Tulane have NO BUSINESS playing in the college football playoffs. They can't compete with the top programs:
  19. Pretty good flex
  20. Don't trigger me bro
  21. Well, Hitler did have Blondi poisoned and put to sleep, so it's debatable how nice he was to her.
  22. No idea why I bother trying to add a funny phrase to this shot. It's perfect the way it is:
