  1. fla_agfan 6:53p, 6/11/25 Honestly, there are 2 that stick out for me. 2011 loss to the orange a-holes 2024 loss to the orange a-holes.
  2. OMG. So much gold here. Hahah. That quote is epic. Funny how many times they proclaim a loss, “kept them from winning a national title.” That’s not how I remember it.
  3. I support this. Replace the big OOC game with FCS teams.
  4. Haha, saw that, and also, more recently, The Island, starring Ewan Mcgregor and Scarlett Johansson, where rich people have identical clones of themselves produced to harvest organs when needed. There are no new ideas under the sun. I just think the idea of top-level athletes getting body parts replaced gives it an interesting angle.
  5. I think you just hit on a really, really good premise for a sports movie set in a dystopian future.
  6. I know I post a lot of stupid stuff here, but for once, I'm going to be serious. I'm really, really, really scared of Texas A&M. While we have been all over the place, changing coaches, QB's and game plans, they have been steadily, methodically building for success. Last year, they went back and forth, toe to toe with a team who made it to the NCAA semifinals. BACK AND FORTH AND TOE-TO-TOE. Don't believe me? Texas A&M Aggies Coach Mike Elko said, "We went back and forth, toe to toe with the team that wound up in the NCAA semifinals," when referring to a game against the Texas Longhorns. They have a QB room that Texas can only wish we had. They tricked us into thinking Conner Wegman was the answer, and we build a defense to stop him, AND NOW THEY'VE MOVED ON FROM HIM AND WE"RE STUCK WITH THE WRONG PLAYERS. ADVANTAGE AGGY. Most of all, they have a secret weapon. Jimbo. That's right. He became friendly with Texas last season. And now I bet he is stealing information from Sark. Slowly, quietly. Little tidbits that he hears from Sark when they have coffee together. The sleeping giant awakes this season. God help us all.
  7. I am more familiar with that profession and the accompanying problems and opportunities than you may imagine. What city are you in? NOTE: I also edited my post 'cause I got your back.
  8. Pro football players from two and three years ago. Faces blurred 'cause I actually cared about life back then. TOP L to R: 1. My man Micah and me. He talked good shit w my wife's best friend who went to Iowa. 2. D'Andre Swift 3. Colt and Wifey 4. George Pickens. Played catch w him, then sent him to Barton Springs to meet girls, haha. BOTTOM L to R: 1. Casey Thomson. Caught a pass from him. 2. Jordan Love. Hit him in the face w/ water balloon. True story. 3. Christian Wilkins catching water balloons on his back. 4. Kyle Pitts, wifey & co-worker.
  9. Aaron Eckhart should have yelled at the screenplay writers and the director. It's cool that you were on the set, but that is one, amateurish, hokey, Disney Channel piece-of crap movie.
  10. Haha,. What a great and random story.
  11. "That's it! Fun's over. Everyone, out of the pool NOW. And everyone help clean up this mess." Here is a new Johntay post where he's working out w/ a Syracuse coach. Meh. I once went to a Knicks basketball game w Tim Robbins. I made him laugh.
  12. Great story. Thanks for sharing.
  13. We're gonna need to know more about you getting yelled at Aaron Eckhart. Which scene was that?
  14. "The offense has pretty been unstoppable this spring, with the offensive line opening huge holes against the starting defense with running backs ten yards downfield before they are touched. Arch and the WRs are looking unstoppable catching the perfect passes, and break every tackle and score on virtually every play. The starting defense is penetrating and disrupting every offensive play, with the running backs unable to make it to the line of scrimmage. The WR's are unable to get separation and Arch looks befuddled against the secondary."
  15. Watched them shoot Matthew McConaughhey and Woody Harrelson's new Netflix show on Friday at our high school. Did not see them though. The scale of the production is crazy. 250 extras. Plus, the catering was some of the best I've ever tried. The brisket was truly epic.
  16. I think this is a great victory for us. He ‘gets us,’ and respects all our traditions which make us so unique. From having our students participate in activities outside of class like a bonfire to raise our spirit, to midnight pep rallies, to pride in our marching band and military organizations, to having male cheerleaders, to our ring ceremonies, he can really become a part of something that will last a lifetime.
