From NY Times It’s no secret Texas A&M staunchly opposed allowing its hated nemesis to join the SEC, and now we see why. It took Texas one season to reach the conference championship game, where it gets a rematch with No. 7 Georgia Whereas A&M, which joined the league in 2012 and has been selling that cachet in recruiting ever since, is yet to make its first trip to Atlanta.

Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet
TreatyOak replied to Coach pop a bitch's topic in Football
Reminder to all that Tom Brady’s last pass for New England was a pick six to end a playoff game. Playing quarterback is hard. Winning is hard. Being Tom Herman is hard. Tom Herman’s wife makes me hard. -
Since Johntay Cook was dropping hints that he wanted to play at Aggy, has anyone checked his Twitter postgame? He usually drops Tweets after big games.

Johnnyshotgun 2:26a, 12/1/24 Close to the worst nightmare for the Ags. They (Texas) literally stroll into the league beat almost everyone including a win here at Kyle Field and make the conference championship game in year 1. After years and years of being told TU is not SEC worthy. This is a big set back and potential long term problem

Johntay Cook’s drop vs Miss. State was #7. Bama will be 3.

Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet

Since I'm the only person here who has actually spent time with him, I think it is relevant to the debate, since I can add the perspective of him as an actual person. And I never paid a penny, bro. Also caught a pass from Quinn, haha. And I'll keep supporting him for the rest of his career, unlike the losers here who post their endless, vitriolic bile who have no connection or concern for the players of the team and school they purportedly "support." -

All our other quarterbacks in the last 14 years who were 11-1 and took us to back-to-back conference championships were so much better! -
Guys, so much gold coming out of Texags tonight. Here is a sampling from diff posters: We are the definition of a criminally stupid circle jerk. Sark is doing everything we have wasted triple digit millions and double digit years just attempting to get close to. Texas is really not that good. The Aggies inability to do anything is making them look good. Georgia Tech would make Texas look like the Aggies. Just my opinion. Lmao shut up, bozo. Game was over before it began. We won't beat Texas for years. Aggies are the perpetual younger brother They are good…also beneficiary of easiest schedule in conference. This is Texas A&M worst case scenario. Their first year!!! What is wrong with Aggie Football? Doesn't make sense after all the money and the new stadium. Very embarrassing and crushing defeat here at home. So sad. I'm glad I couldn't afford a ticket to this one. I get its easy to say theyre not that good, but they we t 11-1 in the "big bad sec". We cant move the goal posts nowtheyre a good team and we are not. It is hard to have 1 loss in the SEC no matter the schedule. Their last road loss is over 2 yrs ago. Every team is good and gets up against the top teams in the conference. Everyone kept saying winning the big 12 meant nothing because they didn't play SEC competition.

So well said. Fuck the haters!!!!! -
Love this from Texags: Defense wins championships and Texas proved that tonight. I'm betting Texas wins the SEC championship in their first year. Everyone happy now that we get to play Texas every year again? You excited to see them in the SEC? Are you excited about us being the little brother again?

Here is a summary of Westlake's game yesterday vs Buda Johnson: In the small, humble town of Westlake, Texas, the beloved Chaps football team isn't much to look at: undersized, outgunned, and out of luck. Led by Coach "Rusty" Fields (a former Westlake star turned history teacher) and their heart-on-his-sleeve quarterback, Jesse Parker, they’ve endured season after season of losses and laughter from powerhouse schools nearby. But when fate pitted them against the rich, flashy juggernaut of Buda Johnson High School—home of shiny helmets, shiny egos, and shinier bank accounts—the odds were never been more stacked against them. Why? Because the villainous Coach Banks of Buda Johnson owns the town’s largest luxury car dealership—and the referees just so happen to work there. With his highly-recruited son, Connor Banks, at quarterback and a grudge against anyone not driving a luxury SUV, Coach Banks isn’t leaving this one to chance. He cornered the referees and threatened to fire them unless they "made sure" Westlake didn’t stand a chance. Game day arrived. The stands were packed, and the ref's whistles mysteriously seemed to favor the wrong team. With strange penalty after penalty, bad call after bad call, the poor, lovable Westlake boys struggled. But with every dirty trick, they rallied around each other, fueled by heart, grit, and their community’s cheers. Connor Bank's beautiful cheerleader girlfriend, Hannah Mays, had found herself attracted to Jessie, although her parents preferred her star QB boyfriend, and expected her to follow him to the big state university where she would major in Housewife Studies. But something about Jessie's quiet support of her dream to be the town doctor made her slowly fall for him. Down by six with just seconds left and no hope in sight, Westlake found itself at the 50-yard line, desperate for a miracle. Jesse stepped up, battered but not broken, and launched a Hail Mary pass toward the end zone. The ball soared through the night sky in slow motion, passing the bright stadium lights—and into the hands of the shortest, scrappiest player on the field, little Rudy Martinez, who juked past the hulking defenders and dived into the end zone as time expires! Somehow, Westlake had won! The Buda coach screamed for offensive pass interference, but the refs, finally finding their pride, simply turned their back to him. The crowd stormed the field, and the mighty underdogs reminded everyone: you don't need money to have heart. And as Hannah kissed Jessie on the 50-yard line, both Coach Banks and Hannah's parents screamed in anger. But surprisingly, as chastened QB Connor walked over and shook hands with Jessie, the whole town, now unable to hold back the tears that flowed freely, learned a good lesson about humility and respect.

Bro, don't you even Aggy? Not loss. BEST LOSS.

Lexington. Home of Snows Barbecue. A true Texas legend.

We don’t recruit. LT does. We are the light. They are the darkness.

It’s such a feel-good story. The kids nobody believed in overcame the odds to beat the bullies. #underdogs #limitedresources #lifeisunfair

We got screwed. Bowie lost to a shite Austin High and forced my beloved Chaps to go D1. At 2,700 students, we should be D2 with the littler schools. Shouldnt have to play LT, (3,800 students), North Shore (4,600 students) etc, etc.

Thanks and apologies. I always make that mistake. Thanks for reminding me.
