  1. There is no shame in losing to Kansas. They are an amazing team and would be one of the top two teams in the SEC. I'll see myself out.
  2. Breaking news: Columbia clinches first Ivy League title since 1961.
  3. Not a great throw. Both of Ewer's TD passes have been too off. Start Connor Weigman .
  4. Unfortunately, VY did not listen to that sage locker room advice.
  5. Why would you say that? That's not funny nor appropriate and SO NOT TRUE. I'm the MOST BUTCH GUY HERE, so PLEASE TAKE THAT DOWN ASAP. Who told you that about me? Was it @6th Street ?
  6. "Welcome back to "Let's Move the Goalposts!'" "Tom is up, and here is your statement: "Colorado won't win one game in the 2024 season." "Now that Colorado is 8-2, are you ready to MOOOOOOVVVVVEEE THE GOALPOSTS? (Wild cheers) "Tom, what is your answer?" "Well, they haven't played anyone!" "CORRECT ANSWER AND YOU ARE TODAY'S WINNER!!!!
  7. Hahha, I read this post to my wife who handles sports facilities rentals in our school district. She can’t stop laughing.
  8. Travis and Shedeur are going to the NFL next year. I was talking about his new 5-star QB recruit, Julian Lewis. Please try to keep up.
  9. "Ladies and gentlemen, thanks for joining us today! Now, let's introduce our two contestants as we play, 'LET"S MOVE THE GOALPOST!"
  10. Absolutely should be at Michie Stadium instead of that Godawful corporate hellhole next to a shitty mall. The West Point campus, the museum, and the views high above the Hudson River* FROM the stadium are insane!!! * Fun Fact. The reason West Point is where it is is because it is situated at a big bend in the Hudson River that forced British ships to slow down, making them easier target for cannon high on the hills of the fort. And just for good measure, they installed a FUCKING GIANT CHAIN ACROSS THE RIVER to stop the ships. Pretty impressive, except that it was unneeded, because asshole Surly-lover British General Howe preferred whoring in NYC to dragging his ass up the Hudson to help poor Gentleman Johnny Burgoyne, who then lost the Battle of Saratoga.
  11. I respect your post. Agree about the drama. It's fun. I do hate when people criticize him for leaving Jackson State. Almost every college coach goes onto better opportunities when they can. And his former college and conference deserve lots of blame, for trashing him out of jealousy at press conferences, stealing his things from the locker room, (!!!!) and not honoring his contract.(allegedly) He has also been criticized for 'leaving the community.' I think the community left him. But how can you say he hasn't succeeded in two seasons? CU won ONE game two years ago and had the worst players in a major conference. Now, there are scenarios where they make the 12-team playoff! Just being in the conversation for that is insane.
  12. Attending a game on a chilly fall Saturday at West Point is an unmatched college football experience. It is stunning on so many levels.
  13. It doesn't matter what he does for the rest of the season. He has already exceeded all expectations, especially from the, "he's a fraud and will have a terrible season' crowd here, who have dominated this thread. Since the season wasn't a disaster, the 'move-the-goalpost crowd' was out in full force saying, " but they haven't played anyone good." Whatever. Now, most of his haters here (and they are haters, for sure) don't even bother posting anymore. As someone in marketing, I have been intrigued with all his disruptive marketing efforts. That is where he excels. As I said, he can be a total clown show, but not acknowledging what he has accomplished in two seasons is disingenuous. And he's a lot more fun than watching the usual retreads fail over and over. (I"m lookin' at you, Tom Herman.) But not Jimbo. Jimbo is gold and I miss him every day.
  14. Yep, would probably take him with him if he moves.
  15. Since he has flipped a top QB recruit from USC, perhaps he is planning on staying at Colorado. I do think he runs the program like a clown show, but his turnaround has been pretty remarkable. He was a winner at his last school and is looking like one now.
  16. Guys. I need your help. I really went out on a limb to convince @immamac to invest in our ai image generation division. So far, the investment costs have far exceeded the payoff and he is not happy. This could be my last chance to save my job at Surly. Please post images so I can keep my job until my pension kicks in.
  17. Has anyone else seen those insane, 'THE TOP RANKED 11-YEAR QB IN AMERICA' videos on social media?
