Eagles, Smith, Washington, Moore and Whittington should get 90% plus percent of the reps when the game outcome is undecided. This move eliminates the chance that Epps somehow takes those reps away from much better playmakers. Coach Fuck Face and his stupid fucking haircut is no longer here to screw up the WR rotation. This is fantastic news.

I'm pretty confident about a good year next year. LSU hired piss pants so we basically have a top 10 win guaranteed at the start of the season and we have enough senior leaders that I think we can carry that momentum to a playoff appearance.

Being "the man for the job" and earning more job security, particularly with our inept athletic department. Is he "the guy" that is going to regularly win the conference and contend for a national title? Probably not. It's 10-90. He's shown almost nothing as a head coach, particularly at UT, to indicate this is the case.

lmao... it's actually been kind of funny to see how Herman's ego and coaching have changed since he got here. Knowing what we know about him, he's arrogant and thinks he's the smartest guy in the room. The guy had great success as an OC and went on to Houston and had a great first season. He then went on to have a pretty mediocre year but still beat ou and Louisville that propelled him as one of the hottest coaching prospects in the country for major programs.
The guy walked into Texas thinking his way would work and anyone else that thought otherwise was stupid. He was extremely arrogant his first year. He brought his entire mid major coaching staff to Texas thinking it work in the Big 12 against some very good and bright coaches. The guy completely misevaluated his team in 2017. Said it was the best O-line had seen. He proceeded to get pantsed by Maryland at home. Year one was humbling for him but he still reeked of arrogance. Year two, less hype in the off-season. He shit himself again against a mediocre Maryland team with no HC. At that point, the pressure was fucking on. We went on to have a pretty decent year where Sam carried the team on his back. He beats UGA and the arrogance went to an all time high.
They did not change anything from year 2 to 3. They brought all these analysts and changed nothing about the offense or defense. He supported the shitty coaches we've all be clamoring to replace. Year 3 was a huge punch to his ego. At this point, he knows these next two years are his last opportunity to make it work at Texas. CDC mentioned that Herman knows he gets one do-over. This is it. If he fails, he will get fired at Texas.
Herman is a narcissistic arrogant fuck, but he's not completely stupid. He wants to be Meyer, Dabo, Saban so bad. But right now, he's a guy that came into a big time program with a shit load of arrogance thinking his UH plan would work here. Now he's embarrassingly going to see Chip Kelly with his tail between his legs trying to figure out how to make this work with a staff overhaul. If he doesn't win the big 12 this year, he will still get one more year. But we all know the 2021 team is going to be a rebuild with Sam gone. If he gets fired, he will be back a a G5 school and it's going to be much tougher for him to land at a blue blood with this shit stained blemish on his resume at Texas. It's fun watching him sweat at press conferences. Maybe he'll actually take a look in the mirror and adjust and do what's needed for us to win.-

I don't know about y'all, but I want a head coach who is willing to deflect blame and refuses to take responsibility.

He's a solid player being coached by a fucking dreadful offensive coordinator (his name rhymes with Caca Fart).
I thought that was really clever until I saw where you got it from:

The irony to your argument is that you could say basically the exact same thing about Austin-area football and be correct.
Austin 6A is Westlake and Lake Travis, and a whole lot of meh. SA 6A has turned into Judson and Steele and a whole lot of meh. The differences are that SA Wagner is moving to 6A, so SA might have a 3rd team, and that SA has had some other really good programs that are currently down (Smithson Valley has played for state several times) and Austin hasn't had anything else since the Griffins graduated.
I completely agree with your post!!!!! They are very similar districts, as Bowie and Hays can be competitive at times.
My point is how on earth is that San Antonio district ranked 3rd in state? None of the teams ever get out of their region! Ever!
On a funny note, I like how people have to go back to 2009 to find games where a San Antonio team beat up on Westlake, and that "O'Connor was leading LT in the 4th quarter." Very Aggyesque, no?

Judson is the only top tier-SA program involved in those games. Madison & SV have been down recently. Weslaco & Vela aren’t SA schools. Also you left out O’Connor vs LT in 2017. O’Connor had a 4th quarter lead before it got away. Judson beat LT in 2017 as well.
And you can’t tell me whoever the Westlake QB was in 2009 doesn’t still have nightmares about Mingo Rincon. One of the most dominant single game defensive performances I’ve ever seen.
Your first sentence proves my point. It's Judson and a bunch of teams that spend all season beating up on shitty SA schools, then make it to the playoffs and never do anything. In 2017 LT lost to Judson, then turned it around and beat them badly in the playoffs, as usual. Never said Weslaco & Vela was in SA. Just too lazy to remove them.

I agree with what you are saying - that SA district ranking is out of line with recent play. That said the rest of our district is SO SO BAD....at pretty much everything except soccer.
Daughter is a Varsity VB player at WL. The LT game is huge. Always. But the girls love it when they play out of district teams like Vandegrift because the games against the rest of the district are flat out non-competitive.
(yes that includes Bowie, lately).
For VB I wish we were in the round rock district.
Congrats to your daughter making varsity VB at Westlake. That is a huge achievement!
