  1. Not to mention the 12 previous years of dogshit QB play. Screw those idiots.
  2. From the Soho Grand Hotel in NYC for my older daughter's surprise engagement tonight!!!!! She has no idea that 40 people are flying in for the party. And who was hanging out in front of the hotel? None other than Dave Chapelle, haha!! Happiest day ever! FIGHT!!!!! F
  3. "Johntay, we think you are a fantastic talent and agree that you didn't get a fair chance at Texas. We may have a place for you at Oregon. But just for now, can you share with us your UT playbook so we can better understand how you were underutilized?"
  4. That drop was beyond terrible. It was a really competitive game and you just can’t drop a ball like that.
  5. It is remarkable how one disgruntled employee can greatly affect an entire group at a company. We had a bad apple and he poisoned our team. It was actually kind of amazing. Getting rid of him really helped us. Not saying this was Cook, of course, since I wasn’t there.
  6. Been thinking the same. The parallels are getting crazy. Putsch, etc. now just waiting for the Night of the Long Knives.
  7. I voted. I chose the new option, “LET YOUR COVID MICROCHIP MAKE THE CHOICES FOR YOU” Was in and out of there in minutes.
  8. Jim Rome later said he really regretted saying that and wished he has been more mature.
  9. LOL. I remember that comment and tried to repair the damage but it was too late, haha.
  10. “Our coaching staff starts every Monday with a review of the strategies and ideas discussed post-game on SurlyHorns.com. It’s our superpower.”
  11. Oh, and thanks, Bowie for losing to a terrible Austin High team and forcing my Chaps to go D1. We at least had a shot to get to the semifinals if we were D2. Now, we are cooked.
  12. Bro, do you even Texags? https://texags.com/forums/5/topics/3504897
  13. Another from Texags. Hahaha, this can't be real Elko Mastermind on Loss Purposely lost to teach team lesson on being disciplined and prepared. And he knew having 2 losses will make team step up if they want chance at playoffs. Makes the Texas game a must win.
  14. From Texags, hahah This is good for A&M It's the first time in a long time that the team earned what they had. They started to believe in themselves. Them losing will make them understand even further how important every game is. This team will grow from this loss.
  15. When you say ours, do you mean ours as in US or Japan?
  16. Wow. That's impressive. Whose side was he on?
  17. Haha, someone sent this letter to the New York Times: Andy Mobile Al COLLEGE STATION Texas. It was originally a train station for students to get off the train for Texas A&M. How does that NOT qualify as a "college town"? And as unique a football experience as you will ever encounter.
  18. Norman is actually a lot of fun. Campus Corner is full of bars, restaurants, etc, and is all walkable. Plus, the big museums on campus are excellent. Way better than The Station.
  19. Maybe a dumb question, but can the US have been invaded if the Alaska wasn't made a state 'til 1959? Great point about the self-sealing fuel tanks. It really was ingenious, yet simple technology.
  20. Random fun trivia that some of you prob know: In WW2, a Japanese pilot tried to make a crash landing in the Aleutians, but snapped his neck on landing. The plane, a Mitsubishi Zero, was perfectly intact and the US was able to salvage it, fly it, and learn it capabilities. This allowed the US to develop the fabulous Grumman Hellcat, which quickly became a nemesis to the Zero.
