There is a inherent fallacy to this argument. Brady wasn't considered a sure-fire star when he came out of college, which is why he was a sixth-round draft pick. Brady flourished under Belichick's system, often with nameless players. Belichick was a great defensive coach in New York w/ the Giants before he got to the Patriots, and a great defensive mind at New England, and ended up arguably the greatest ever by record alone. He WAS a great coach. He may end up a total disaster at NC (and it's not looking great) but for people to say Brady was the only reason he was great is just silly.
You're making up a scenario that never occurred and acting like it's reality. You know what did occur?
Quinn went to Alabama and played an incredible game.
Quinn played two superlative games against OU that were better than Vince Young did against OU.
Quinn played a game against Michigan that had him mentioned in early Heisman talk, before he was injured.
I'm not saying Arch won't get there, and I hope he does, but until he does, he hasn't done shit.
I'll summarize our game:
First half: Someone call the police called Westlake got robbed.
Second half: Someone call the police called Westlake got robbed.

Four years of loathing and hate-rage that induces hysterical blindness, followed by forgiveness and support.
I support all the players. I still have PTSD from Baker's reign at LT, but I support him now.
Just empty your computer's cache or clear your cookies and hopefully you won't be taken directly to the thread. If that doesn't work, try not reading it.
He certainly was, and unlike Isaiah Bond, he took care of his business when it mattered most and didn't screw up his biggest opportunity. I do hope Isaiah recovers from this and Johntay, as well, who seems to be back on track.
