  1. Jeez, dude. This is not a healthy place for you. I seriously hope you can get some help but don’t allow this place to feed your mental health issues. It’s not worth it.
  2. Sounds like Tua might want a fresh start and he's much better than Dak. His latest Tweet sounds like he might be interested: "Ready to play, with the fresh trees and sunshine all working. It's good day and we shoot the ball. Is that puppy? I like eggs. My ears, my eyes, my nose and legs. Hello, hello, can you see it now? I see it now. Bounce bounce baby bounce."
  3. Missed the tailgate It looked fun! Well done @immamac We did get FOUR glorious flyovers right over our house by the B1 Bombers. They were really low on the first pass which caught us by surprise, and the roar was DEAFENING! Didn't get shots of that pass, though.
  4. The 1913 loss to Notre Dame on Clark Field still burns like it was yesterday. Seeing them dominate us 29-7 was so painful. That was really when Aggy began their road to dominance that has lasted til this day.
  5. It's only a criticism by the definition of the word.
  6. "I'm so impressed with the comments on Surly Horns that I'm going to use their posts to formulate our Vanderbilt game plan."
  7. Haha. One of the cheerleaders pictures was a teammate of my daughter in HS.
  8. I was cheering wen he pulled him out, and assumed he would sub in Cole Lourde, but was mortified when he put in Manning. "I was screaming at the TV, "put in Lourde. put in Lourde!!!!!!"
  9. Who do we fire? The commonly repeated advice for remembering whether to use who or whom is this: If you can replace the word with he or she or another subject pronoun, use who. If you can replace it with him or her (or another object pronoun), use whom. One way to remember this trick is that both him and whom end with the letter m. So, for example: [Who/Whom] do we fire? Do you fire him? You wouldn’t say, “Do you fire he?” So whom is correct. [Who/Whom] writes the songs. He writes the songs. You wouldn’t say, “Him writes the songs.” So who is correct. This device also works when we parse the first example at the beginning of this post: Think about [who/whom] you want to cover. Think about whether you want to cover him. So whom is correct. Think about [who/whom] is eligible for coverage. Think about whether he is eligible for coverage. So who is correct. The sun came up!
  10. Many of them claimed last summer on TexAgs that they 'had a better QB room than Texas.'
  11. Actually, Weigman is the backup. Or maybe the other one is the backup. Or maybe Weigman was the backup, but now he is the starter, but might be the backup starter?
  12. I wonder what makes a late bloomer a success? Here are some obvious reasons below. Any others? Growing into strength and speed Super work effort Getting lucky to play for the right team, coaches, scheme, etc If you remember, D'Onta Foreman was an afterthought, as his brother was the considered the real prize recruit. D'Onta came out of nowhere.
  13. Now that I learned Sark and Cher, (of all people) have the same last name, I asked Ai if they are related: No, Steve Sarkisian and Cher are not related. Sarkisian is of Armenian and Irish ancestry, and his father was Iranian-Armenian. This makes no sense to me, so I found this in an article: Steve Sarkisian and pop icon Cher share the same surname, as the pop icon's full name is Cherilyn Sarkisian. Over the years, this has led some fans on Twitter to wonder about a possible connection between the football coach and the musician, however, there is no evidence to suggest the two are related.
  14. Just saying, that if Quinn lights up the scoreboard this Saturday, you're going to want my official Surly Horns Quinn Ewers autographed football even more. We will auction it here after the season, with the winning bid donated.
  15. Serious question for the know-it-alls: How did Ashton Jeanty get away from the state and end up at Boise State? I watched highlights and he looks amazing. Was he not heavily recruited? Looks like he was a star at football and track at Lone Star. And he was a wide receiver in HS? Is he just one of those late-bloomers?
  16. Wait, what? You can't be serious. TEXAS A&M HAS THE BEST LOSS, PERIOD. THERE WAS EVEN AN ARTICLE ABOUT IN THE ECONOMIST.
  17. And add on a few more thousand to Jimbo too, just for good luck. I'll never get over Jimbo being run out of town! PLEASE come back!!!
  18. Been listening to Sooner YouTubers. They are more upset about this year's loss than the 49-0 loss, which they blame on the QB injury. This year, they are perplexed about why the offense is so hopeless. To their credit, they don't give themselves a break for the WR injuries and they even cite Texas injuries. They rightly claim that the offense has no identity, and nothing builds on what they just did, and wonder why it seems very unimaginative, and needlessly complex. They also seem to greatly admire Sark's play calling. Another theme is that BV better make changes to his staff or it's gonna be bye-bye.
  19. Congrats to you and your daughter! Well done to her!
