  1. The primary payout by Texas A&M University in connection with the 1999 Aggie Bonfire collapse was $2.1 million, agreed upon in October 2008. Under that settlement: $500,000 was paid directly by the university (the maximum allowed under Texas tort law), The remaining $1.6 million came from insurance policies covering university administrators
  2. Say what you want about TikTok, but they have some very informed influencers there. "The most toxic CFB fan bases"
  3. Current ad running for a roofer in the great state of Oklahoma.
  4. fla_agfan 6:53p, 6/11/25 Honestly, there are 2 that stick out for me. 2011 loss to the orange a-holes 2024 loss to the orange a-holes.
  5. OMG. So much gold here. Hahah. That quote is epic. Funny how many times they proclaim a loss, “kept them from winning a national title.” That’s not how I remember it.
  6. Lol .
  7. I support this. Replace the big OOC game with FCS teams.
  8. Haha, saw that, and also, more recently, The Island, starring Ewan Mcgregor and Scarlett Johansson, where rich people have identical clones of themselves produced to harvest organs when needed. There are no new ideas under the sun. I just think the idea of top-level athletes getting body parts replaced gives it an interesting angle.
  9. I think you just hit on a really, really good premise for a sports movie set in a dystopian future.
  10. I know I post a lot of stupid stuff here, but for once, I'm going to be serious. I'm really, really, really scared of Texas A&M. While we have been all over the place, changing coaches, QB's and game plans, they have been steadily, methodically building for success. Last year, they went back and forth, toe to toe with a team who made it to the NCAA semifinals. BACK AND FORTH AND TOE-TO-TOE. Don't believe me? Texas A&M Aggies Coach Mike Elko said, "We went back and forth, toe to toe with the team that wound up in the NCAA semifinals," when referring to a game against the Texas Longhorns. They have a QB room that Texas can only wish we had. They tricked us into thinking Conner Wegman was the answer, and we build a defense to stop him, AND NOW THEY'VE MOVED ON FROM HIM AND WE"RE STUCK WITH THE WRONG PLAYERS. ADVANTAGE AGGY. Most of all, they have a secret weapon. Jimbo. That's right. He became friendly with Texas last season. And now I bet he is stealing information from Sark. Slowly, quietly. Little tidbits that he hears from Sark when they have coffee together. The sleeping giant awakes this season. God help us all.
  11. I am more familiar with that profession and the accompanying problems and opportunities than you may imagine. What city are you in? NOTE: I also edited my post 'cause I got your back.
