  1. So happy for you. I really enjoyed meeting you and your lovely wife. Best wishes to you and your family.
  2. Good is defeating Evil 35-14. Chaps now up big in fourth, 35-14, but guessing you know that.
  3. I do love you posts, so I accept your criticism. I'm sure I deserve it. However, as a proud Cowboy hater, I do relish their endlessly entertaining antics and always enjoy Dak's horrific playoff performances. Three years ago, he lost their playoff game by running out the clock on himself, hahaha. Two years ago was the game-ending, hilarious mystery play, the Ezekiel Elliot "butt crumble" against the Niners. Dak threw his usual, game-ending horrible pass on that play. Last year vs the Packers, Dak set a new standard for lowness, even for him, with his cretin-level pick six. That pass is arguably the most important TD Dak has ever thrown. Cowboy fans point to his overall stats in that game as if they have any meaning, but ALL of it was in garbage time after he dug the team into a bottomless hole. I'm certainly no expert, and I deserve your wrath, but I think his contract makes him a bust. When comparing his record vs playoff teams to his wins against bad teams, his stats really suffer. I stand by my admittedly ugly post.
  4. Yes, I read they beat Allen last season to snap a 73-game district winning streak. They look very strong. It will be a tough game and Westlake could very well lose. Thanks!
  5. Our Chaps season kicks off tonight against a highly-ranked team I know nothing about, the Prosper Eagles. Go Chaps. Does anyone know anything about them? Looks like they come from a recent growth suburb north of Dallas and it's safe to assume they are a strong, well-funded program. Any background would be appreciated. Thnx.
  6. This criticism is all wrong and really makes me mad. I honestly think Cade Klubnik is poised for a breakout, Heisman-level year. He has all the tools and has a really, really great, supportive father who has really been there supporting him through everything. Not that I would know, because I'm not his father or anything, but I've seen how much his father has sacrificed every day for Cade, and we've gone too far down this road for it not to pan out. I hear it's been really hard for his father, who used to have everyone courting him with sponsorships, speaking engagements and even the neighbors asking me what's the latest with Cade. Now, I hear the neighbors are avoiding him, and leave at odd hours so they don't have to speak to Mr. Klubnik, which is humiliating and embarrassing. None of you will ever understand how hard it's been for this truly exceptional father, and I would appreciate it if you would stop making unkind comments which are very hurtful to me. And Mr. Klubnik, too.
  7. Is it just me, or do the Aggys feel most comfortable hiring washed-up, obese, middle-aged to outright old men as head corch?
  8. I copied and pasted that from Yahoo Sports, so not my error. (Nice, right?) The TexAgs forum on this is pretty fun right now: https://texags.com/forums/8/topics/3483199
  9. And thus it begins, as it was foretold by our fathers and the fathers before ours. Let it be thus for ever more! On Sunday, it was revealed that another Aggie baseball commit has decommitted from the program. Javorskie Lane Jr., the son of former Texas A&M star running back Jovorskie Lane, will explore other options going forward. No, this does not mean that he is automatically transferring to Texas Lane Jr. is one of the best athletes in the cycle. At the plate, Lane was one of the best hitters in the country during his 2023 junior season; the incoming senior hit for .591 in 34 plate appearances, recording 52 hits, 37 RBI, 51 runs, and eight home runs on the year.
  10. Your work reminds me of the player's wife who makes these badass custom NFL jackets, sportswear designer Kristin Juszczyk. Now, lots of companies are ripping her off but her custom jackets go for a lot of $$$$.
  11. Some stats about the wonderful sport many people dream to obtain: Wow on the average QB career lasting 30 games! Average career length The average NFL career lasts 3.3 years, which is shorter than other major sports leagues. The NFL is considered one of the most physically demanding sports leagues in the world, with players regularly exposed to hard hits and collisions. This leads to a high risk of injury, and many players are forced to retire early or miss significant time due to injuries. Positional differences Kickers have the longest average career at 4.4 years, while running backs have the shortest at 2.57 years. Quarterbacks also face one of the shortest average careers in the NFL, lasting roughly 30 games. After retirement 78% of players go broke within three years of retirement, and 15.7% of players file for bankruptcy within 12 years of leaving the league.
  12. One of the smart reasons Murphy had for transferring to Duke is that it's a school with great outcomes. The connections he is making and the alumni pipeline is on another level to help him lead a highly successful (and maybe better) life if he doesn't make it to the NFL.
  13. Here is the apparel shoot that I got Quinn's autograph at. Rhoback is a great brand. I really like the styling on their performance shirts. Check them out.
