  1. Yeah, you have to deal with some crazy shit. We sold our AirBnB last fall. It was in a great location (South Congress) and did well until 2023, when bookings fell off to mostly nil. AirBnB may be suffering a decline, plus the STR market was flooded by people who were unable to sell their homes, so they converted them to AirBnb's. Our nice, little one-bdrm couldn't compete with all the new 3 bdrm-with-pool homes on market. Here is the funniest story: Our very first renter ever wanted to extend their check-out. We had another guest coming in the same day, so we needed them out on time. (Never made that mistake again of having new guest check-in on same day) I showed up to help. The girlfriend (who was pretty cute) was PISSED at me for not extending their check-out, and the boyfriend tried to make nice by inviting me to his tantric sex convention! (He was one of the speakers, haha) The next-door neighbor, who was a cool dude, was walking by just as the boyfriend was inviting me to the convention and I saw him laughing. Later, the neighbor told me he was glad to hear that they into tantric sex, cause he said he didn't WTF was going on all day and night there. He heard, yelling, growling, screaming, etc 24-7. I guess that's part of tantric sex. He was frightened, haha. We had a good laugh.
  2. Well said, lol. I'm truly surprised it even got to trial, and I think that was as good as it was going to be. Now Alec can focus on his other wonderful initiatives: Suing the idiot, unqualified girl that his company hired as the armorer. Yes, this is actually happening. His beautiful gesture of volunteering to share the proceeds from the movie sales with the husband of the woman he shot and killed. Yes, that actually happened. The husband told him to F off and is currently suing Alec Baldwin.
  3. @Mole maybe this thread needs a new title
  4. Yes, his trial for involuntary manslaughter has begun. His lawyers have done a good job of making sure he will not face charges as a producer, but only as the shooter, which I believe helps him immensely. I still think he should be found guilty and at least perform community service. It is a very interesting trial, for sure.
  5. No, she's real, just like mine. And amazingly, the incredibly hot Asian woman is (inexplicably) highly attracted to me, a 64-year old man.
  6. All joking aside, here is the 'actual' photo of a woman who is trying to friend me on Facebook. I am guessing this is a cryptocurrency Pig Butchering scheme. What is extra-sad about cryptocurrency scams these days is that many of the scammers are victims themselves, forced to live in prison-like compounds in Asia and beaten if they don't steal enough money for their criminal organizations. The human race is truly vile. We are adept at turning anything as wonderful as the internet into a tool to ruin people's lives.
  7. No! This is legit! Thanks to her, I turned my initial $7K investment into $23,700 in ONE WEEK. I just gave her another $13K and she has promised to fly toTaiwan to meet me, so I'm going to advance her the money for a flight from Beijing. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
  8. Did it! Can everyone please avoid using the password texasextralong#2024 It's no longer available.
  9. Great idea to start this thread. This will keep the long-established Steve Sarkisian thread freed-up from too many posts.
  10. Hey, guys, I recently met a really beautiful single woman from Asia on Facebook and she has helped me invest my savings in a really safe cryptocurrency site. I'll keep you posted on how it's going!
  11. I'm looking for investment opportunities. Let's take this offline. DM me!
  12. Quinn Ewers Update 2.0: This fall, one of you is going to take home an amazing, authentic, Quinn Ewers-signed football! We (@immamac and Surly Horns) are going to auction off one of my Quinn Ewers-signed footballs to raise money for Surly NIL endeavors. The football is a brand-spanking-new Wilson college football. Maybe we can get Quinn to present it!!! Hey, dream big! We will announce details during the season. Thanks!
  13. I wish I had 15, haha, but it would have been rude to ask Quinn to sign more than just a few. I just have the two you see in the shot above.
  14. My beautiful friends, I am officially announcing that @immamac will auction off my sacred, signed Quinn Ewers football to raise money for Surly Horns NIL initiatives. As some of you know, he signed it for me two weeks ago. I purchased is a new Wilson college football for this sacred act. This will help Surly be able to support Texas athletics. We will announce the details later, when we figure out how this will work. Happy Fourth of July Weekend!!!
  15. Spending lots of money on billboards to brag that an athletics program has 'the best academics' (Vanderbilt says hi) and the 'cleanest program.' You can't make this stuff up.
  16. A better question is, why would they be proud of that? To brag about how much revenue and spending you engage in and yet have so little to show for it indicates a supreme level of incompetence.
  17. Great players survive bad coaches, even Jeff Fisher-bad-level. Nick Foles, Case Keenum and Jared Goff all suffered under Jeff Fisher. Heck, Nick Foles nearly retired out of frustration. All of them had their most success AFTER they got away from Fisher. Vince Young had plenty of chances after Fisher but didn't have the character or work habits to make himself a success.
  18. I rate both Russell and VY's careers as abject failures. Russell, of course, is perhaps the worst-ever bust, and is the grand-prize winner. Yes, VY hung around the league, but when you measure his career against the expectations, coupled with his ongoing personal issues, he is a textbook definition bust of a prospect. I'm glad he won us a championship and I wish he could get his life together, but he is a confirmed dumb guy and is 100% responsible for his failures. I hope he gets help and stops bringing shame upon his name, but I don't expect it.
  19. If you can believe Aggy, their idiotic Jimbo buyout has had NO EFFECT WHATSOEVER on their program and wasn't the reason Schloss wanted to leave. What a clown show.
  20. Wow, although one of my favorite games of all time, I had no idea the stats so heavily favored App St. Incredible. Shout-out to Jimbo for best post-game press conference ever.
  21. Wondering the same. Guessing if he returns the money, no charges will be filed. However, the lawsuit seems to indicate that he didn’t return it so I’m confused. Anybody wondering if he owes some of the wrong people a lot of money?
