  1. Everyone always criticizes reporters in press conferences here for always asking softball questions. You finally have a reporter with the cojones to ask what is on everyone's mind, and people are criticizing him for doing so.
  2. Okay, so can someone catch me up on the Pierce story that, along with his shitty coaching, supposedly led to his downfall? According to FCB, (I was listening to Texas Sports Unfiltered on YouTube - shoutout to Brad Kelner) Pierce had a meltdown with a player and kicked the dude off the team. The team apparently wasn't thrilled with this move and there was some sort of rebellion amongst the players, with them demanding he re-instate the player. The player was put back on the team the same day. Can anyone provide any more info?

  4. Wow. Pierce kicked a player off the team? Players rebelled! WOW. FCB reporting now.
  5. Jeez, I've never seen so much Aggy Gold on Texags right now. It exhaust me just thinking about converting it all into fun.
  6. I am hoping to have an awesome update on Quinn next week.
  7. Never forget the brotherhood that exists between SEC and the the Aggys.
  8. That would certainly make him unique amongst college coaches.
  9. Epic work. Let's hope this comes back to bite those idiots.
  10. Here is a good article about the famous 1913 Notre/Army game that changed the way the game was played. Knute Rockne was the end that caught the passes. Aside from the very first game between Princeton and Rutgers (as pointed out by @WelfareBuysMyWeed,) this is probably the most important college football game of all time. The rules were changed in 1912 to allow more passing, but both passing and Notre Dame was unknown to the national audience. Some interesting tidbits: Notre Dame was an unknown school that big schools avoided scheduling due to it's Catholic heritage Players had to be at LEAST 5 years behind the line of scrimmage to throw a pass. This rule stood 'til 1945. Army had players who had graduated from other colleges 3 years previously, but were allowed to play since they needed additional military training. Uh huh, sure. The ball had been recently re-shaped to make passing easier Thanks to this game and the NY Times article about the game, passing became a popular weapon to keep the defense off-balance Texas played Notre Dame that year and lost to them The write of the Most influential College teams of all time is an idiot
  11. Maybe it's just me, but while they didn't invent the forward pass, Notre Dame Introduced the forward pass to a stunned nation when crushing a dominant Army team in 1913. The game electrified the nation and changed the way the game was played forever. This moved the sport away from rugby and made it the unique sport it is today. To me, this is way more influential than the Wishbone offense, which is no longer even used today. The Wishbone was great, but it didn't fundamentally change the game. No comparison.
  12. I think we’ve seen Ewer’s ceiling. Dude is a gamer but limited. Manning had great upside but telegraphs his throws. Plus, his uncles are toxic and causing Sark to ‘lose the locker room.’ He’s going to be fine as a stopgap starter until Owens can get up to speed. Owens has all the intangibles and should be starting by game 3, but I don’t think he can keep us in the game vs Aggy, who has the deepest QB roster and finest traditions in sports. They are winners and I am pushing for the Surly/Texags Summit, so we can learn from them what it takes to dominate the SEC. Cole Lourd is the answer. I see him starting by game 4 and winning the Heisman. Book it.
  13. I went into the Surly Horns office today and just sat at my old desk. They called security and escorted me out. All those insufferably young Surly bros were chanting, "bye bye, old, bye bye." It was really, really painful. We walked right by @immamac who pretended not to know me. Now, @Dennis Taylor, are you finally happy? Does this make you finally happy?
  14. Maybe so, but there is one Crypto that GUARANTEES A 20% RETURN WEEKLY!!!!
  15. Well, what I have been dreading for so long has finally happened. As of today, I am no longer working at Surly Horns. I got called down to HR and my 24-year old, snotty-nosed boss was sitting there with a satisfied smirk on his face. He happily showed my post where I trashed the Surly working conditions. This hurts so bad because I was there from the very beginning. I even gave @immamac the idea to switch Surly Horns from an online restaurant supply store to a fan forum! Those were the good years. Our summer retreats were incredible. I used to be ON STAGE with Immamac when he shared his vision. The company was valued in the hundred of millions. Our new office was amazing. We had VC firms lined up at the door. Then came 2020 and our stock tumbled. Then Immamac brought in that ^&#%^%#% consulting firm with some "genius" change agent and things started to sour. The free lunches were the first to go. Then overtime pay. Everyone was EXPECTED to work 60 hours a week. Then 70. Immamac sat in this office with the door closed, and we were no longer allowed to speak to him. ai was the final nail. Guess what? 70% of all the posts are ai-generated. Yeah, I just violated my NDA. Fuck them. I knew it was just a matter of time before they got me. I saw their comments on Slack, calling me "Treaty Old." These kids don't know sit about running a business. Now they're on CNBC talking about an cash infusion from Blackrock and Softbank. Good luck with that. Goodbye, my friends. LMK if you need a fleshlight.
