  1. Guys. You can watch the game for free on YouTube. We did.
  2. If Hitler had never been born, the US might have never evolved to global hegemony and the score would have been 24-6.
  3. That is a beyond crazy stat, and should be one amazing game!
  4. So many great places! Love Cape Town.
  5. CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!! Life is good!!!!
  6. ‘Sticking with your team’ is all well and good, but then he loses another year of eligibility without getting the bag. Odds are he’s not gonna play pro football, so he should go get his $ while he can. And schools who need a good QB won’t care that he quit. I hope it works out for him.
  7. There are some insanely talented schools in Houston right now. I think Atascocita might be able to beat out North Shore.
  8. Totally agree with this 100%. And to anyone who says the players are ruining college football, universities, AD's, athletic departments, coaches and boosters say hi.
  9. Westlake will not make it to the state title game this year. Our RB's are not top level, and our cornerbacks are small, and can be had by tall, strong receivers who can catch or block. Atascocita came into our house and put a whopping on us, our first home loss since 2018. With some luck we can get to the state quarter-final, but we are definitely vulnerable this year.
  10. We don't really know what he was or wasn't promised and if he was promised money that never showed up, he wouldn't be the first. Well, yesterday we disagreed, but today we agree. And as the Aggy assistant coach recruiting tape leak a couple of years ago revealed, coaches ARE openly involved in the $ negotiations.
  11. I agree 100%. He's undermining the honest, completely upstanding and highly-regarded world of big-time college sports.
  12. It was a brilliant move by Aggy. Made it seem like they wanted Stoops, then snuck in at the eleventh hour and grabbed the coach no one else wanted.
  13. Same with Dak, except he gets paid a fortune to lose playoff games.
  14. Agreed. He looks pretty good to me. Darnold makes better decisions than Dak. Again, I love it and hope the Cowboys sign Dak over and over to horrible, soul-crushing contracts.
  15. This is a fair post, and I agree with most of it, except for saying Dak is better than half my list. I think he is equal to them, but they don't come with the ridiculous salary. What I do take issue is you blaming the defense, coaching and not Dak. Many on YouTube have broken down his performance against Green Bay. From taking horrible sacks when he could have thrown the ball away and kept the team in field goal range, to staring down and throwing to the covered wrong player on his first INT to set up a short TD drive, to his' "I'm being paid by the mob to throw this game" pick six, Dak is the most responsible for putting the team in the 28-point first-half defect. It was all on Dak. Dude sucks.
  16. I enjoy @'stache content and I hear what he is saying. It's really two different arguments. One is that the bloated QB contract is the new norm, and that it doesn't affect other salaries. I'll let the more learned debate that. The other is by what measure does Dak deserve to be treated as the centerpiece of a team. He doesn't show up in the big games, until the game is out of reach and he gets some great meaningless stats that the other team is happy to give up to get the game over. Perhaps a new start would help him. As everyone here has pointed out, Jerry Jones is the real problem, but that doesn't change the fact that paying Dak an enormous salary is detrimental to the team on many, many levels.
  17. I wonder if that Tufts professor pities the families who now pay $90,000 a year to go to a school with shitty food and no air conditioning, all for the honor of getting a pretty generic Liberal Arts degree. (My business partner’s daughter is a freshman there and they are growing increasingly bemused with the school. )
