  1. Sounds great, but Harlan has a four year old who is already tearing up the playground. Kid is easily 3ft tall and can run up the metal slide faster than anyone. Everyone says he can already push the tire swing with two kids on it. No dreadlocks.
  2. Reagan beating Chaps 21-0 in 2nd quarter. Or maybe it's the reverse of that.
  3. One amazing player < eleven very good defensive players and great coaching.
  4. I need to create a new Mt. Rushmore photo comp. How about Michigan State’s departed coach as the fourth?
  5. Mr. Traylor, it’s great to have you here on Surly.
  6. Ridge Point is the real deal. They have some super athletes on offense.
  7. Unfortunately, this week's Texas vs. Iowa State watch party has been cancelled due to lack of funds.
  8. My question is, are Maga-tards more deranged now thanks to the internet, or were they always this level of stupid?
  9. Remember when the internet was going to democratize knowledge? And now look where we are. Thanks to the web, people may actually be more stupid, if that's possible
  10. Being a manager is very difficult, just as being a lower-level employee is. I’ve been a good and bad manager, and I’m in my 60’s and still learning, lol. I always thought Jimbo was terrible in his leadership role at A&M. Yelling and screaming at players AFTER they do something stupid during a game is poor coaching. Give them the tools to do the job right before the game and don’t embarrass them in front of the crowd, their families, etc. That is poor leadership that’s more a reflection on Jimbo than it is on the players. I really enjoyed his sideline rants and his passive-aggressive comments in the press conferences afterwards. “We miss a block there, we just got to execute better, gotta use our heads.” It really was someone who was losing control and knew it. I already miss him so much.
  11. Seeing this sentiment on Texags. It's incredible.
  12. Ah, if life was only that easy, my old friend. It's not easy to transfer to another school, just like it's hard to leave a job when you hate your boss, cause life. Sometimes you just have to live through it.
  13. I wouldn't be surprised, based on the way he would go after players on his sideline rants due to their failure to 'execute.' He would venture far out on the field to pursue them with his rants. He is the worst manager I've seen in a long time and I already miss him so much. Here's a look back at the glory that was the Appalachian State game.
  14. Seriously, I thought nothing could shock me about Aggy, but I am astounded at the incomprehensible folly of this fiasco and their reaction. This is the absolute worst hiring and firing disaster of all time, and on Texags dudes are spinning it to say this is a good thing and shows how committed they are to success. It's insane.
  15. Ewers' last pass for the big completion was a thing of pure beauty. He is so talented.
  16. suppose I shouldn't begrudge them; they have so little to celebrate in actual competition or even as human beings. Jesus Christ, that is effing harsh. And i cant' stop laughing.
  17. So it has been decreed. Let it reverently shine in it's venerated home for evermore.
  18. You really have to break down the calibre of the competition. With the Johnson QB, it does sound like it will be a great game.
  19. As far as Lake Travis vs Johnson, I don't see how Johnson can hang with LT. Johnson won a tight game w/ a 6-5 New Braunfels school 36-31. LT has one bad loss to Dripping Springs, but that is a very good team which could make it to the semis or even finals. LT played Westlake very tough and knocked off #4 ranked Vandegrift. I dread the idea of having to face LT in the quarterfinals, as it's hard to beat a team twice in one season. @Longhorn94
  20. Westlake and Reagan do share a common opponent: Round Rock Reagan beat em 35-28 Westlake won 35-3 Westlake doesn't pack the same offensive firepower that we have in past seasons, but the defense is as salty as ever. One aspect of Westlake that makes the team so successful is the attention to special teams. They always block punts, especially in the playoffs, with key punt blocks last season against San Benito and Brennan. However, Westlake begins and ends with the offensive and defensive lines. I expect a hard-fought game with Westlake's line being the difference in the 4th quarter. Westlake isn't strong enough to overcome North Shore or Duncanville, and we may even lose to a rejuvenated Lake Travis in the quarters. @Longhorn94
