  1. It takes a village to turn an internet meme into true art.
  2. While Deion's Prime 21 Blender Sunglasses live up to their, "look good, feel good, play good," motto, there are plenty of fabulous choices to make this weekend for those who want their look as much haute as hot. Wraparound shapes and mono-lenses — in other words, silhouettes that are synonymous with more form than function — are key accessories in the upcoming months, so consider this for your Colorado/Oregon game gear. Christyn Breckenridge, owner of eyewear brand 3rdeyeview, agrees. “The clash that’s happening right now with athletics and high fashion is dope,” she says. “Razor edge shapes are really popular [right now] — they would normally stay within those sport realms but you can spot them on a celebrity courtside nowadays.” Hope that helps.
  3. How on earth that player wasn't tossed is beyond me. The ball had already hit the ground when he delivered his shot on a defenseless player. All the people lamenting the game today for being "too soft" compared to how they used to play it (or more likely, watched it) might want to read up on all the former players with dementia currently wandering the streets, or killing others or themselves, or the story about doctors studying the brain of a college football player and finding he had an incredible amount of cognitive damage as the result of ten concussions.
  4. Say what you must about her, but I bet she's amazing in bed.
  5. I feel so bad for him. I think he is a terrific person. I hope good things happen for him.
  6. I have no problem whatsoever with people coming here and advocating for their school. We have many great, long-time posters who root for OSU, theOSU, UCLA, Iowa State, etc. However, I don't recall any of those good people like @'stache coming here to inform us that we're all racists, or telling posters like @NoName to fuck off for sharing relevant and informative charts. I don't see that as advocating for his school. I see that as bad posting.
  7. @NoName does a great job of sharing factual information that is actually helpful. He's not just posting to somehow insult you. Jeez. I have an honest question for you. Since so many people here seem to make you angry, wouldn't you enjoy your time more posting on a University of Colorado fan forum?
  8. Good points. Time will tell, for sure, but we've never seen a start like this. The fact that they even have top-rated recruits visiting them shows how much impact Deion has made in a very short time.
  9. Well, we will be crazy busy, but it would be fun to meet up.
  10. LOL, good catch. We need a proofer, if you are looking.
  11. So much fraud involved w big-time athletics. So many of the "student athletes" have nothing whatsoever to do with education and are really employees.
  12. You are welcome. Lived in Manhattan for 20 years (including Upper West Side) and now going back often cause younger daughter is living there. Be back at Thanksgiving. Can never get enough of it.
  13. Hey, UpperWestside, have you had the burger and fries at Hi-Life at Amsterdam and 83rd Street? They serve the fries in an upright metal cone. They are awesome with mayo and you can watch football at the bar. Also, yeah, Parm at 71st and Columbus is a technically a chain, but it's freaking amazing.
  14. A D1 college player who didn't care about getting his degree? Didn't he understand that the FSU athletic department cared more about his education than wins and generating revenue? That is shocking and undermines a really reputable system!
  15. That is partially true and relevant, for sure. But he has already changed the way people will construct a college team forever. And yes, he is polarizing. People who are trailblazers are ALWAYS polarizing because they threaten the unimaginative morons who hide behind the conventional wisdom. He took lots of crap from the HBUC coaches and is starting to now from the D1 ones for exposing them for the (mostly) frauds that they are who are in cahoots with the AD's to rob the fanbases.
  16. Got exposed, lol? How about got exposure? I love Deion. He is a master promoter. Remember how some of you made fun of me for saying he knows how to merchandise his brand? Last weekend, he ratchets up the media over some rando CS coach comment and sells $1.5 MILLION of his sunglasses the very next day! This is way bigger than football now. The Deion factor means it isn't about wins, anymore. Stars and performers are now attending Colorado games. It's become the cool thing to be, kinda like USC during their reign under Pete Carroll. People attending the game and on the sidelines last Saturday night. We are talking about Colorado vs Colorado State. Kawhi Leonard Key Glock Master P Lil Wayne The Rock Gronk Shannon Sharpe Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Rap star Offset Rap star Cordae Pat McAfee Desmond Howard Here's a question: Where do you think today's top recruits are going to want to play?
  17. Fair point. He has played it brilliantly so far. His next move will have to be really carefully considered. So many upgrades don't work out for various reasons.
  18. I think it's a good location for him. Smaller market, lower expectations, T Boone can open up the checkbook, and it matches Deion's country vibe. I bet he will be able to choose any location he wants for his next jump, but it's a thought.
