  1. Hi! I think you'd be a gorgeous match to represent our jewelry, so it would be great to send you 3 pieces for free (yes, FREE) of your choice. Just reply YES and we will mail you our jewelry to share on each of your posts. Just drop a DM. Thank you
  2. Excellent and congrats! I know how interesting it is now with all the new media. As a magazine publisher, PR connected to social media is a major part of our world. And yes, I am biased towards print reporters vs TV reporters. Real coverage vs sound bites and stunts.
  3. One of our first Hispanic stars!
  4. Now I'm offended that you aren't offended. That's really offensive.
  5. I was offended that the reporter interrupted the holiday press conference devoted to charity to ask about the player's health. You were offended that I was offended that the reporter interrupted the holiday press conference devoted to charity to ask about the player's health. I was offended that you were offended that I was offended that the reporter interrupted the holiday press conference devoted to charity to ask about the player's health.
  6. Where did you teach Journalism and PR, if you are willing to say? It is comical how many people are flattered to be interviewed by media thinking it will be a good thing for them, and it all goes horribly wrong.
  7. I hear you. I don't think I explained it well. The players were absolutely invited 'cause Raising Cane's wanted publicity for their contribution to the Boys and Girls Club of Austin. But don't ask the player about his injury when he just starts speaking about the event.
  8. I have a little Jahdae Barron story I think I can tell now. At our fundraising PR event, two days before the Clemson game, Isaiah Bond was speaking to the press. He was promoting the event and about talking how much charity could help someone like him who didn't come from a privileged background. One of the idiot local TV reporters asked how his health was, and was he going to play in the game. (I thought this was pretty rude TBH, since we were there to promote the event. Maybe ask the guy privately, but not in the middle of the promotion, asshole) Isaiah answered him about how he felt fine and was going to say more about his health. I was standing next to Jahdae and he frantically waves with his hand to stop Isaiah from talking about his health, which he instantly did. I think this was less about the event, and more because they may have been instructed not to share any info about the team. Just a quiet, little show of leadership from Jahdae. I was very impressed with both of them.
  9. You're forgetting how Surly treated Street.
  10. Especially in the Johntay Cook conversation thread.
  11. Thanks for sharing. Your voice matters!!!!!
  12. Welllllll, he just Instagram-posted this list of "Top 10 Available Players in the Portal" by @247sports which has him listed as the top prospect. I like how he is shown transferring from Washington. Bro was with them for 48 hours. Maybe I'm the idiot and he is the hottest prospect, but we shall see!
  13. Those are all target players, for sure, and would be great additions. It would be really hard, but let's see what I can do.
  14. More of an alternate reality persona. You know, like a doppelgänger.,
  15. I’ve heard about the flinging horse shit onto our band, and attacking other cheerleaders. That seems like semi-normal terrible behavior from Aggy and other schools. But I had never heard about fighting the payout to the families and how low it ultimately was, and I am truly shocked. I have no words. There is no other precedent for this. This pretty much completes it as the worst event at a university, outside of the mass shooting at Virginia Tech, and that wasn’t the direct fault of the school policies, but rather some nut-job foreign exchange student. Unbelievable and for once. I’m not making fun of it.
  16. Doesn’t sound like all the 12 families sued, but some of the injured students and construction workers were also part of the suit. $2.1 million for all those poor families. That’s it? WTH? Maybe they should thrown in a buffet lunch at a restaurant of their choice. I’m truly shocked.
  17. Honest question: what is the story about how they treated the victim’s families? I thought they all loved the memorial and all want the bonfire brought back to campus, blah, blah, blah.
  18. Lol. Musk going after his ai competition and torpedoing Trump's ai initiative. I can see Trump's other acolytes ganging up to eliminate Musk, much as Himmler, Goebbels and Goering took out SA leader Ernst Rohm in the Night of Long Knives.
  19. Great idea. I would love to get them on it!
  20. Okay, y'all, as promised, I have some Longhorn news to share. I got to hang with Arch Manning today in a stadium doing football-type stuff. It was really fun. We sometimes forget that these are young men, and he is just a another super-chill guy who likes to have fun. He's taller than I thought he would be in real life. Like every Texas player I've been fortunate enough to meet in the last three years, he is very approachable. Texas really does pick the best. What a great representative he is for the school. And to top it off, @immamac, I got him to add his signature to the Sacred '24-'25 Surly Horns Football. The ball now has the following signatures: Arch Manning Quinn Ewers Isaiah Bond Jhadie Barron Tre Wisner Gunnar Helm The ball is already a treasure that will forever remind us of some of the best players from this magical season, but I am going to see if I can continue to add to it. I will share pics when I'm allowed to. Thanks and Hook 'Em!
  21. Johntay's latest post is pretty tame. He's probably finding out how temporal celebrity fame is. Yesterday, you were feeling like a boss at a world-class university enjoying incredible benefits and facilities. It seems everyone wants to be a part of your circle and basking in your stardom, especially since you were paying for everything. Today, the prospective universities on the list you made are not responding to your outreach. Your 'friends' are somehow no longer available, and don't have money to help you out. Choose wisely.
  22. Feeling prideful that we played Aggy closer than any other team this year!
  23. What? Cowboys should have won that game. Couple different plays and Cowboys win it by double digits. And Aggy was only three plays away from playing in the national championship tonight.
