  1. Clay Helton had a split lip and black eye in the fourth quarter. He didn’t have that in the first half. Some shit went down in the locker room. My SC wife gladly pointed that out to me.
  2. We will expand the bullpen by 1 arm for the ALCS, and that position is certainly Peacock's if he is ready. I think Miley will then stay as the only leftie and a guy that can burn innings if we need to.
  3. I tried both in London (7 years) and Houston (3 years) and just gave up and bought the VC Overseas.
  4. I hate Trump as much as most of you, but that is the song that Rivera used to come out to so it's not so crazy...
  5. While I have been singing the praises of the VC Overseas, I have now become very frustrated with it. It was purchased Oct 1 last year, and I just today sent it back in for its second service for the same issue. The minute hand keeps getting stuck at 11:43am and won't budge off of it. Fortunately the VC Boutique has been accommodating. They want to look at it closely this time and see if it's just a minor fix or if the entire movement has to be replaced. And they did confirm that if they repair it and it happens again, they will replace the watch or movement.
  6. I wouldn't try to squeeze in Thailand and Vietnam in the same trip. Pick one and go with it. You can always go back and see the one you miss another time. I have done both, and slightly preferred Vietnam. Maybe that's because it was the most recent (last year vs. Thailand in 2015). If you are looking for the city/food/drinking scene, you can't beat the Hanoi to Hue/Hoi An/Danang to Saigon route. That's what we did and loved it. You can see some of my comments and pics on previous pages of this thread.
  7. We look like a bunch of La Flama Blancas out there
  8. Congrats! I bought the Dual Time last year when I finally gave up on the PP Nautilus. It’s a great watch.
  9. I’d do two of each if you can get the numbers
  10. Texas is incredibly expensive, presumably because of the costs to cool. I’ve paid between $600-$750 per month at two different locations to store around 1200 bottles. For my collection in London, its about $15 per case ANNUALLY.
  11. Love it. Had it for about 10 years now and never had an issue. Will be moving back to London in a few months so will have to sell this one and do something different over there.
  12. 100 bottle Eurocave at the house and offsite storage in Houston and London.
  13. Probably helps him to get the ABs and playing time in AAA over the next several weeks to be ready for September/October.
  14. I think so. He has had 5 past balls this year and 13 last year.
  15. We are set with our bats. In the playoffs last year, both the Indians and Sox came in averaging over 1 SB per game. And we gave up none with Maldonado behind the plate.
  16. It's a great guilty pleasure - love this show. Now my favorite comedies, in no particular order, are Cheers, It's Always Sunny and Arrested Development. But there's something about King of Queens that always sucks me in.
  17. Machete is a big upgrade defensively. He's got a gun and teams (Yankees/Sox) are less likely to run on him. His bat isn't significantly worse than RCs, although Chirinos has perked up the last week.
  18. Definitely slipped. He was chasing a pitch well out of the zone and it just came out.
  19. Agree with this. Was annoyed Tuve didn't lay down the bunt, to either move Springer into scoring position or possibly beat out the play.
  20. yep, plenty of them. Alphonse Mellot is a great producer there

    Hot Chip

Just starting to check them out. Their Glasto set over the weekend was great.
  22. How was the Trevallon? I load up on that in London for about $25-$35 per bottle (have several cases stored there) but just saw it in Houston for $75/bottle. It, and Mas de Daumas Gassac have always been amazing at that price point.
  23. I think that's Andre Dawson in an Astros uni.
