  2. That’s true. Cardboard disgustingness.
  3. That’s good bull. Whoop!
  4. @destroya, @Superhero, I too love my stainless steel collar stays. Some from Amazon, some from Tyrwhitt (thanks for the Tyrwhitt link a while ago, SH). However, today they became a trivial thing that made me surly. The washing machine stopped working. Wouldn’t drain or spin. No front access panel. Had to drain it with a siphon and then the water under the drum with a cup. It was messy. Finally got to the pump, scrunched down between the wall and the washer, very limited working room. Two collar stays stuck in the pump, prohibiting it from spinning. Got them out, all is well. I’m surly that it happened but pleased that I fixed it. Moral of the story: if you wear dress shirts, check and doublecheck for collar stays before you put them in the wash. And be somewhat competent with household repairs. TLDR: collar stays are great until they’re not, and it pays to have some basic household skillz.
  5. Is that a Tesla supercharger?
  6. The number 1 reason that bidets should be mandatory everywhere. Why does it matter that the feces smeared all over your backside is your own? It’s still feces. Some of us aren’t savages. 99% of the people most of you encounter every day have feces smeared all over their backsides. That’s a nice thought.
  7. I just threw up in my mouth a little bit, and can smell the cheap tequila and Keystone Light.
  8. Cross-posting from the lulz pics thread.
  9. Looks like the typical methed-out grackle that I see in the Kroger parking lot.

    Getting old sucks

It was intentional. I was running with my legs and trying to avoid other things running.
  13. Someone posted it above, but Lowes/Home Depot parking lots are like Mad Max playgrounds. There are no rules.

    Getting old sucks

You and I could be siblings. Very similar story with my dad that died from Alzheimer’s complications (as did his dad). Very healthy, hardworking lifestyle, lifelong runner, did all the right things. And that weighs heavily on me. Completely endorsed. One can do all the things and still end up with dementia, or get hit by a piece of a falling airplane. The point is to make peace with that.
