  1. Oh, they can and they are. They shouldn’t be allowed to, but here we are.
  2. And that’s why new immigrants to the US frequently see immediate spikes in weight, cholesterol, blood sugar, and every other bad bio-marker. Take someone from a blue zone and plop them in a US suburb and their life expectancy drops. Take someone from the US and drop them in a blue zone and it goes up.

  4. Despite the refs keeping them in the game on back to back blown calls in 2OT.
  5. Fair enough. I thought it was even smaller than that. But 32k is not adequate for P4. Smaller schools like Baylor, TCU, and SMU should not be building Kroger tackle boxes, but 40-50,000, done right, gives a good college game day experience. SMU’s going to need to up their game if they continue to have on-the-field success. As an aside, I actually like SMU. I dated a girl from there through undergrad and attended both the last game at Cowboys stadium before the death penalty, and the first game on campus after. I hope they can find sustained success in the ACC (if it survives).

  7. Those were probably worn by the fine gentlemen who had a friendly chat with Leno before he fell down the hill behind the Hampton Inn.
  8. Oh, I’m not. I live in the country close to Tyler. It’s beautiful. But it’s infested with Aggies. edit: Not as much as Katy or Clear Lake, where I lived during my prior career in O&G.
  9. You mean other than slinging horse poop? Or yelling at visitors walking on the grass? Or pulling combat weapons on unarmed cheerleaders? The mythical status applied to the β€œAggie Network” is absurd. As if they’re the only school in the country that has an active alumni network that helps with job placement and other things. They’re a diploma mill second-rate state school with a strong regional presence. If you get a degree there you can probably get a job in Katy, Kingwood, or Tyler. Good for you. Go outside of Texas and it has zero name recognition and you won’t get any more consideration than a grad of Grand Canyon University. And the ring marks you as a provincial, small-minded individual.
  10. Compare it to this Volvo ad that just dropped. Night and day.
  11. SMU can’t be considered a real program until they get serious about a stadium. Ford field isn’t as big or as nice as some TXHSFB stadiums. And they’re having a very nice season. TCU’s had a bunch of those this century. A nice season doesn’t make a sustainable program. That said, TCU squandered every bit of its momentum from the CFB CG run (using GP’s players) on a second-rate HFBC and a POS OC who’s not even good at his job. They’ve regressed quickly from GP’s sustainable program. So maybe you’re right.
  12. Would be really funny if TCU fires Dykes and hires him.
  13. You are awarded zero points and may God have mercy on your soul.
