True story. On the way out of Española on 84, toward Chama, there used to be a sign, "Speed Monitored by Aircraft." One night someone took adhesive reflective letters and lettered over "Aircraft" with "Assholes." It was that way for years.
Be glad you never had to play in Española. Other NM teams have to have police escorts in and out of town. I'd hate to see what they would do to a Texas team.
CDC and I are contemporaries who grew up in the same area of NM. We went to different high schools. I'm sure our paths crossed, but I don't remember him and I'm sure he doesn't remember me. It obviously shaped him into a strong person. I think it did with me as well. My sister and brother and I have reflected many times that it is amazing that none of us died in our teenage years, or fell off the tracks in many different ways, and have all become relatively productive members of society.
Well, except for my surly habit. That's obviously counterproductive to a flourishing life.
I understand her reasoning. The pump lotion bottles wont get a good third of the lotion in the bottom of the bottle.
A better solution is to cut the bottle off at the mid point when the pump stops working. She can then get that lotion out with her hand. Just cover it with Saran Wrap.
That’s what I do with the Trader Joe’s lotion we use. Because those bottles are clear, you can see how much you’d be throwing away when the pump stops working. 1 minute with a pocket knife solves the problem.
The same Aggie that engineered Christmas light circuits engineered this damn plug for my outdoor lights timer. I need the second outlet for heat tape for a hose bib, but no—damn engineer decided it would be a good idea to do this stupid flat plug that blocks the second outlet. I do have some of those stupid mini-extensions that I can plug in, but they’re being utilized elsewhere with Christmas lights.
