  1. More so just bashing the lightning pricing then trying to defend tesla. The lightning is not a realistic option for most of the population. It runs 20-30k more than their ICE F150 counterpart. I just meant I'd buy the first practical option whether it's an ugly ass cybertruk or any other make.
  2. I don't know when the cyber truck will ever come to fruition, or what it will cost, but I would buy it or pretty much anything over a lightning if it's affordable. Because right now an XLT trim level lightning with extended range is an 80k truck, and XLT is not a premium trim.
  3. Or just watch spaceballs and spare yourself a lot of wasted time.
  4. I know why they justify it, but I have never tuned in or out based on the announcers. I don't think I'm in the minority either.
  5. I briefly lived in Carrollton in 08. When this story broke I was always picturing the standard suburb tract home, but when I saw the actual house I realized I never ventured over to that part of town.
  6. I don't understand the universe where their job is worth 10 mil a year much less 37.5, but I am living in it.
  7. It's crazy to check his IMDB page to see how many shit movies he had going when he first announced retiring. I can't imagine he needed money bad enough to make this crap.
  8. Dumb fucking bitch. Three people doesn't qualify as an orgy you stupid cunt. -Porterhouse probably
  9. You don't want to get a mechanics set. That's going to contain so many bits socket sizes that will never be used around the house, and you'd really need to store in a large tool box to be able to access anything easily. Just get a basic general tool set of any name brand like the one above. Throw in a few power tools like a cordless driver maybe a reciprocating saw.
  10. I doubt the idea is to build suspense. Movies can exist based on real events. The movie obviously will need to add a little bit more entertainment than a Wikipedia page. One of the more interesting facets of Winning Time on HBO was Phil Knight courting Magic for a shoe deal. He couldn't offer him any money because they had none, but offered him a portion of the company which would have proven to be worth ridiculous amount today.
  11. Are you seriously asking if Cincy is going to extend Burrow?
  12. That will be dicey. Washington did this to Cousins for a few years but he didn't ever come close to doing shit for them. Not sure how that will go over for his camp and the fans. I'd assume they would want to get him locked up and back load the contract to save room to still go after it the next years. Franchising a QB is dumb. It's still a hell of a cap hit, and your only pushing the can down the road to when prices are higher.
  13. "I need the greatest basketball shoe that's ever been made." I see the writers strike has already happened.
  14. With the movies I take my kids to, If you are in the theatre without kids, you should be on a watchlist.
  15. We're mad that someone tricked us into reading Ketch's opinion.
  16. NFL owners: Only 345 diagnoses out of 25,000+ players all time
  17. I don't know about Manhattan, but I didn't have that experience at all in Texas in the 90s. North Texas in the 90s pretty much all blockbuster movies were packed on the weekends. If you tried to show up at 6:45 for a 7:00 showing of Independence Day or Jurassic Park they were for sure sold out until several weeks into their release. We'd have to travel to bigger burbs that had the giant megaplex to see those movies.
  18. The prices are already to a point where the added value of the movie experience isn't worth the costs. At least for me. Taking my family of 5 is easily a $100 between ticket/popcorn/soda. I'll opt for the 20 buck in home rental every time.
  19. His catchable ball rate sucks and his receivers drop a lot. Sounds like a winning combination.
  20. Jerry must have given him the HCIW title. With that, they for sure better go a different route at OC. I could understand if they lost Quinn not wanting to bring in 2 new coordinators.
  21. I think they said Stafford's cap hit was 10% of the cap last year, but that doesn't seem correct.
  22. The Ticket had a breakdown this morning about SB winners and QB cap allocation. Brady with TB had the highest % of cap for a super bowl winning qb at 12%. Peyton Manning was the highest to make it to a SB at 18%, but lost to the Saints. Dak will be at 22% next season. QB is the most important position, but it seems that these outrageous contracts for them only keep you in the discussion, and there is always just going to be a better built team with either a really good QB on a rookie contract or a bus driver QB.
