  1. When you sell your story for a book maybe it standard that it includes an option for the author to sell it for a movie.
  2. I really don't understand what it matters adoption vs conservatorship? I get that they have different legal definitions and duties, but otherwise it boils down that they did take care of him, and of course it was because he was good at football. Now if they screwed him out of money, I hope they get exposed, and he gets paid, but I don't really give a crap if the family let everyone think they adopted him when they only had a conservatorship.
  3. I had no idea the family was that rich. I never saw the movie, but just assumed they were suburbanite rich. Maybe this needs to be posted on the movie forum, but selling your story for a book/movie deal is definitely worth something. That should have all been given to Oehr given they had 9 figure worth, but I can't believe it would be millions of dollars. Non fiction anything wouldn't be a thing if those were the costs.
  4. Seems like the movie wouldn't had done so well if there were dozens of stories just like it.
  5. An appendectomy is a long road to recovery.
  6. Nobody, Mcdonalds was just a stand in for any food service that people traditionally never tipped but are now being asked to. In theory those workers could be shifted to the 2.13 waiter wage scale if enough people tip. Also if a restaurant pays it's servers minimum wage or more, aren't they basically be able to keep all tips? The whole thing is ass backwards in our society. Even in simpler times there wasn't much logic in it.
  7. Why was his wife having trouble conceiving?
  8. I probably don't know what I am talking about, but if a waiter doesn't make at least make minimum wage between base pay and tips isn't the employer responsible for the difference? Also wouldn't a shitty McDs manager be able to pay his workers 2.13 an hour if he can prove that tips bring them up to minimum wage?
  9. This guy is trying to gain access to a shipping containers for human trafficking. I know a group of guys that can help. In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire The A-Team
  10. I think the point is that Sark is turning recruiting around, pointing out Quinn was also a #1 player that Sark landed as a transfer only helps that argument.
  11. Most places have expanded their taco section to include more street style tacos, but pretty much all places still have the standard taco plate with 2-3 beef tacos with your choice of crunchy/soft tortillas.
  12. Payton's worst offense to mankind was being the inspiration for the movie Home Team. For that alone he should die of gonorrhea and rot in hell.
  13. College graduates are a minority in the college fan population. Much like the NFL fan population. Maybe the college graduate turns his nose up to NFL fans, but in reality he is surrounded by just as many morons.
  14. It's likely all fake entirely. There is a guy filming a guy that's just filming the street. There is no context to what they are doing, and no context to why the car driver would even care enough to stop and get out. Seems like they are just trying to create a viral video.
  15. I hope Sark is the guy to, but what do you think takes decades? Even before NIL you see pretty much saw instantaneous turn arounds when a program hires the right coach.
  16. Seems like those guys were just standing there waiting for someone to confront them so they could mace them, or the entire thing was staged.
  17. Not all vendors want to pay for your reward points.
  18. What's about movers? First time using a moving company. I have no idea what the company pays them hourly, but I know roughly what they will be charging me per hour, and tipping someone already charging me 100+/hour isn't something I really want to do.
  19. For the traditional no tip establishments I only tip when I order online with an app. I figure that buys me some chance that a ball sack doesn't touch my food. If it's made and in a bag in front of me when they spin it around I zero that thing out.
  20. As an adult I've only had electric ranges, and have always hated them and dreamed about getting a gas range. We are temporarily in a house with a gas range, and holy hell does it heat the hell out of the kitchen, which is no bueno when the ac is already running 24/7 to keep it tolerable with all the blinds and curtains shut. I'm definitely looking more into induction when we build.
  21. I figured Jake was in the 6fig club when he became a full time host, but yeah if they kept him at his producer salary then yes it's an easy decision. I know other radio shows the producers rarely chime in, but it's crazy how so many ticket producers created so much content for basically nothing for so long.
  22. Suck fake tits. relax guys steamboat is dyslexic.
  23. So much for leaving on nice terms
  24. With your information probably out there 10 times over online is anyone still dumpster diving to steal identities?
