  1. That aggie account
  2. Low 6 figs doesn't stretch very far in San Francisco.
  3. Employed Shawn Watson. Check and check
  4. Why does he move like he's shorter?
  5. My kids are going to this this upcoming year. I'm all for it. Supposedly there are studies showing it being better for the student. Most of our school polices are pretty much built on what is convenient for the parents rather than what is actually better for learning. The parents against it didn't really have a good argument other than it's not fair that teachers get a 4 day week and I don't.
  6. We didn't lose anyone important to the draft this year so we got that going for us.
  7. 6 year olds shouldn't be playing violent video games. I think the main point was that training isn't needed in order for a kid to figure out how to discharge a handgun. It's not rocket science, and it's not even a statement on our gun culture or propensity for violence. A 6 year old Swedish kid could figure it out as well. It's an intuitive action that's pretty much engrained in every human on the planet since guns were created.
  8. This is in the article. If the DA isn't pursuing charges, I don't know how the ISD is the one that is supposed to administer justice. ABC13 learned the case was turned over to the juvenile division of the Brazoria County District Attorney's Office and a grand jury declined to file charges against the boy. We stopped by their office to find out why and are waiting on an answer
  9. Guns aren't complicated to fire. Every 6 year old kid has played with toy guns. Regardless of their range time, even a toddler can manage to discharge a weapon if given access.
  10. Pics don't look that bad, but holy hell $31,000 is that a typo? Someone quoted you 31k for patio doors?
  11. Jim wants to dominate backyard football at the family reunion.
  12. Disagree on Jerry. He's not too stupid to realize the problem, he only wants to win as long as he gets to credit. Otherwise he's fine being mediocre and getting rich off the Dallas fanbase.
  13. The real winner here is the guy that bought the 60 and sold it as a 90.
  14. Stop playing with Mother's rape horn. Yes, I have a rape horn Michael because you took away my mace. Yeah, like anyone would want to "R" her.
  15. Tuned out for musical musers, only to come back for the corner, and I get Norm and Donny.
  16. I thought it was solid, but I generally judge netflix movies on a different scale than a theatre movie. I would have been disappointed had I dropped 20+ bucks and saw this in the theatre, and with that budget this probably would be closer to a bust than a success. Hell it may be closer to a bust than a success for netflix as well. Evans was great, but Gosling was kind of boring. With a generic plot, I think they could have went for more comedy from Gosling.
  17. There are no goalposts. You guys like Pratt as a serious actor. I don't. He's been the lead actor in a handful of movies and half of them suck.
  18. Fair enough, but I mean your guys favorite roles of him are the ones where he has limited screen time. That's kind of my point as well.
  19. He's worked in compliance his whole career. He just goes around the country making sure various industries are in compliance. I guy like that would develop some serious connections. I hope like hell Sark heeds this man's advice.
  20. I just don't think he shows much personality in his roles unless he has a little goofball to them. Zero Dark 30 was a great movie and had a ton of awesome acting. Pratt was a part of that, but he didn't have to carry it. Love him in GOTG but his character has some goofball to it. Outside of Zero Dark 30 I don't know what "serious roles" he's had that would be a favorite. Maybe I am missing a movie that would completely reverse my opinion?
  21. What about sauce pans and pots? Is SS that much of a difference maker since it's typically liquids cooking? Looking at a set because pretty much all of our stuff save a carbon steel pan and a cast iron pan is pretty much garbage. A set makes sense there, but not really sure how much value i'd get out of their non skillet cookware.
  22. Is all clad SS still considered the gold standard? We got a set of hard anodized non stick cookware set (not all clad) gifted to us years ago but all the pans are beat to shit with the non stick flaking off. I think the most abuse ours takes is my kids just throwing it in the pots/pan cabinet unloading the dishwasher. I want to move away from non stick since the are basically disposable. Looking into a SS set, but not sure if it's worth it since I have a carbon steel pan that I use a lot. Don't know if the SS pans would just be redundant. I've never cooked on SS.
