  1. It's not just about being worth your contract value which I agree Zeke's elite years were, but a premium picks can't be done in 5 years which pretty much every RB is, or you going to find yourself picking in the top of the draft often.
  2. I fear their actual size is going to make some scenes not make sense. Even in episode 1 they kept playing up that Magic is too big to play PG, but he's pretty much the same size as Nixon at the party.
  3. I'd go through insurance unless I trusted the person. You can hardly get your oil changed at a dealership for under $500. I get that the dealership brother may be giving the guy a break, but I wouldn't trust that he's just passing those savings on to you.
  4. Reilly is great. West portrayal is way too over the top. It will be interesting how well the can pull off game action. Not impressed with the 1v1 attempt at the party.
  5. I think until Nolan's they were all pretty campy and don't hold up well. But Nolan's batman movies don't even have a superhero feel to them at all, so that's probably why they appeal so much more to the average person who has never picked up a comic.
  6. Definitely getting the rich mahogany smell coming through those pictures. I guess he won a few races?
  7. Who are we kidding, it wasn't until Bale that the movie makers decided that maybe the actor should at least appear to be strong.
  8. I never thought it was Jr, but I don't really know what the point of it being the Lipsons. It's not like if they kill off Jessie and Eli that they are going to get the money. Jessie or the wife masterminding would make more sense.
  9. I'd expect a markup on custom orders, but not 10k. Dealerships do have money invested in their lots whether it's inventory or the land, so there is overhead they have to pay. Similar to a brick and mortar likely being more expensive than online, there is still some value in you being able to physically see the product before buying.
  10. He killed it in Flash Forward.
  11. The agent Petty storyline was incredibly dumb, so it would be on par for the show to call it back.
  12. Dropping Baby Billy screen time for Kelvin was definitely the wrong play.
  13. Which one is the good Acho?
  14. I finished it. It started fun and kind of trailed off quite a bit towards the end. I assume the book isn't exactly a high thinker or else this show didn't do it justice as it pretty much became as low brow formulaic action porn as you get. Reacher sure does seem to struggle with 150lb hillbillies in fist fights though. Maybe that's his kryptonite.
  15. Netflix is approaching the border, but I don't know how someone could replace it with Disney+. I have both as well, but I can't get my entertainment jollies just on Star Wars/Marvel paraphernalia.
  16. I remember that doc getting a lot of hype when it came out, but I never saw it. I knew the gist, but I just assumed he was a photographer/documentarian who got very unlucky. I just went down a mini rabbit hole on him and what a nut. The most surprising thing is that it didn't happen sooner.
  17. Watched it last night on HBO. I thought is was good. Very well acted and definitely could have trimmed it up a bit. I'd recommend.
  18. This is where I am at. There are players in the HOF that shouldn't be, but you don't fix that problem by saying player X is better than this guy so he's in. I think the best approach is to judge him by his peers, and Stafford has never been in the top group of his era. Every QB of this era that plays 10+ years is going to have a shit ton of yards and TDs. More success can certainly change my mind. And yeah Eli Manning will be in the HOF and there is something criminal that he would be in and not Stafford. I'd take Detroit Lions Stafford over Eli any day.
  19. He's a fast talker, but it's funny that he was getting kicked off NFL buses and events because no one believed he was a player.
  20. I think it's solid. I don't think the Reacher actor is going to win an Emmy unless it's for best ab to bicep ratio, but he does solid overall. Not really a fan of the Finlay character. I'm sure it's explained better in the books and maybe they did early on and I just missed it, but you can probably count on one hand the number of Harvard educated detectives in the country, and one is employed in bumbfuck Georgia with zero power?
  21. If this season repeats itself, then they will have done something they haven't done in a some time. Win the division in back to back years.
  22. Dude seemed very down to earth. I guess being at for so long has kept him humble.
  23. And yet in spite of the black coaches that have been hired since the Rooney rule was implemented, we don't see that same nepotism flowing from their family trees. Weird! Mike Tomlin is the only sustained black coach in the NFL. Hard to fill up the lower levels with friends/family when you are fired.
  24. Even without racist intent the nepotism at the lower levels of NFL organizations basically homogenizes the talent pool for future assistants, coordinators, and ultimately HCs. These candidates appear more qualified because the have more experience.
  25. The racism angle will get the media attention, but I agree the game fixing is the more immediate problem.
