  1. Assume you know by now, but it wasn’t the districts fault, it was down across the entire country. Actually, it went pretty smoothly for us, besides Zoom being down for a few minutes. We got a note quickly from the principal with a new link & it worked with no issues.
  2. anyone have any updates to this thread? Anyone switched lately? Looks like Federal is the cheapest I've found so far
  3. Post this in Hobbies - there is a fishing thread in there Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Actually that's the Paragon, regular G25 starts around 200K. M & the Paragon are top of the line. Sail & Ski has sold a crap load of the Paragon's, they are all over Lake Travis
  5. Probably right around 27”. Looks to be a fairly young axis, he doesn’t have the gray in face yet & isn’t filled out.
  6. Most all the marinas rent boats out here. What part of the lake do you want to out on? JFF, Volente are more down by the damn, Lakeway rents everything (I think closer to you), & Briarcliff also rents, so take your pick. Yeah, pontoon is probably fine, as long as you don’t want to pull those tubes fast. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yeah, twin engine jet boats don’t make freaking good wake or surf boats, don’t care how much ballast they have.
  8. Anybody have any new updates / favorites ? Need to buy a couple new ones Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. You can just go to power to choose.com & choose 100% renewable. & yes, most all the big guys have renewable options. You do know that the actual electricity your getting to your location, probably isn’t all renewable no matter what. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Didn’t even go out, we just sat on the dock & had some cocktails Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Yeah, my 6 yr old twins wouldn’t go without snack. Troph, didn’t see you go by this evening Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. The people of Chicago voted, let them have what they voted for, same with Portland. Federal govt stay out of it, they don’t want help anyways. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. The Gar has the best locations / views, but we’ve decided the worst food of the options on the lake.
  14. Eh, between our extended family we have 3 places down there & are down there currently, we haven’t heard anything saying it’s coming.
  15. Here you go - 99 Sunsetter Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. What are the jumbo rates now?
  17. Why are you worried about that? Fucking wash your hands after you get gas or wear rubber gloves. Everyone in the grocery store has been masked up, even if they aren’t keep your fucking distance from people, wash your hands / use sanitizer. If you are that afraid stay home. There is thread on Padre in the food & travel - FYI
  18. Nope, as the 5.0 roles by me on his 4 wheeler
  19. Sitting down here right now on the beach, weekend is definitely more crowded than the week days. Cops have been asking people to move their umbrellas, they aren’t measuring or anything, just don’t them like 5 ft apart. They don’t seem to care how many people are sitting under / around them though. & definitely no canopy structure, they will make you take those down. We have been setting up 2 umbrellas, 15 ft or so apart, the kids play in between the set up & no one gets to close you. Just get to the beach around 10 or before & you should be able to have your pick of spots.
  20. Still here, all the bars ( except those that are restaurants too) on the bay side are closed down. Plenty of room on the beach to keep your 15ft apart &I have seen the cops tell people to move their umbrella & space further out. The lines for DQ & Whataburger at night are out of control.
  21. This right here, those of y’all saying no in person school, what do you think is really going to change in 3 weeks, 6 weeks, 9 weeks, etc ... the answer is nothing - there isn’t a magic solution coming anytime in the next 6 months or more
  22. Actually yes, I’m planning on sending mine. I’m referring to little kids here - they can’t learn via zoom, they need in class instruction. There aren’t any great answers here. Question, what do those of y’all that say kids should not back in school tell single parents or both parents work? It’s either be a bad worker or be bad teacher / parent . Not to go CR on this, but it’s going to hit a certain demographic of our population harder than others & it’s going to possibly keep them behind for years, those that need the in class instruction the most Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Where in the hell are they getting those projected death #’s for kids? I know damn sure it’s not 1%. Trying to scare all the parents. Last number I saw was 12 kids under the age of 14 had died from / with Covid. There are approx 60,000,000 kids under the age 14. Never mind the facts are showing kids don’t get as easily, aren’t effected by it as easily, & don’t spread as easily either.
  24. Just got down here today, definitely not as packed as a usual summer Saturday. Capt Roys to go for dinner tonight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Mack’s show was pretty freaking good, esp for someone having it in their backyard Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
