  1. I've had some cases where the heat seal is sealed <below> the reseal strip, so you have to cut the reseal strip off to open the bag. Great job, guys.
  2. Thick cowboy ribeye from Costco. (Pic doesn't show how thicc, was ~2".) Last minute decision to thaw and cook, thawed in water bath, no dry brine time, Smoked an hour over some pecan. Made sure to get the perfect crisscross grill marks on the sear though! That'll do.
  3. #teamsteamer (not #clevelandsteamer)
  4. The market dgaf, shutdowns are just regular bullshit now.
  5. Not with that attitude.
  6. So, comrades, all we need to do is pay more taxes, for the good of the nation.
  7. Fuck that guy.
  8. China Air is also good. Food not quite as good as Eva. Rest of experience is solid. Both are ages above any US carrier.
  9. Ewww disgusting. Eva Air to Taiwan, and you stay Star Alliance so your United miles and status still help.
  10. Most definitely wrong thread. This goes in "Best things ever, ever."
  11. Get whatever quality wired earphones you want and get the little usbC to headphone jack dongle. No reason to limit yourself to the crappy "usbC earphone" market. I'm a big fan of Etymotic.
  12. The big US 3 are already paying significantly higher labor costs than their competition. I'm amusedly watching the UAW kill off their golden goose.
  13. <Vietnamese have entered the chat.>
  14. I've definitely had some bad yogurt.
  15. Fuck that, your people are too spoiled. You will eat whatever mystery unlabeled item you are handed and you will like it.
  16. Use ground turkey. Add beans. You mean use vegan tofu substitute. And beans.
  17. You wouldn't run out of things to do on just one subway line in a week. Tokyo will take all the time you can spend.
  18. hahahahahahahahahahahahaha But I'm not selling either.
  19. Except this is a fake 3yr baseline and anyone who expects it to stay normal is in for a rude surprise.
  20. They're just being nice. They don't actually appreciate you.
  21. 16 is fat??
  22. I just bought a BMW X5 diesel. 2011-13 can be found easily for 10-12k. If you get lucky as low as 4k, and that's not clapped-out, it's just people not knowing the diesel and being afraid of it. I've sent two 4k candidates to a friend in Austin. Delete the emissions crap and ALL the known problems go away. That'll cost ~5k if you pay a shop. Luxury torque monster with 30mpg. Get the 3 or 5 series diesel if you want 40mpg.
  23. Do not take that car to a dealer!!! There is no one at a dealer that has any clue wtf is going on with a car that old. Find an independent who specializes in the same make (not model), or at least is an "import" or "Japanese" specialist.
