  1. Those are really nice cars. And quite the value.
  2. In January 2021, EOSE was $28, so there's lots of upside potential!
  3. No, time for a real code reader that gets the Mercedes specific codes. Autel is one, I use Launch for Benz and Rover, (Protool for BMW), but be aware most of them need some sort of subscription for updates. Launch also only sends reports via upload to China so they invade all your privacy. But for 100-200 to see all the car systems faults, its the same price as paying a dealer just to pull the codes once.
  4. Bet its the battery. Low voltage makes modern cars light every system fault.
  5. I hate that some phones <cough cough Apple> have gone to full eSim and removed the sim slot completely. So many countries don't have providers that support eSim yet, it means those phones are not an option for a frequent traveler, unless you buy an international model that still has sim slot, and then warranty support for it in US sucks. I will not travel with anything but a physical sim. Phone gets dropped or drowned? Just buy another and plug the sim in and you're back in business. Try that when roaming on an eSim and you are fucked.
  6. Love this thread. Stage Call sounds like a porn production company.
  7. Uh, what Corvettes have you been in?
  8. 2007-13 BMW x5 diesel. Delete the diesel emissions crap and they are utterly bulletproof engines, 23-25mpg, and very nice inside. Easy to find under 10k and the delete stuff plus some maintenance like valve cover gasket, vacuum lines, belts and you're always out well under 15k.
  9. Two 48 POE then, actually have redundancy. Or use a Dream Machine Pro or SE and pair with a POE switch (which is what I do), instead of the cloud gate.
  10. Why the 2x 24port switches instead of a straight 48 POE? Saves you a rack unit. Also, consider either their smart plug or their PDU for automatic rebooting a modem if internet goes out.
  11. No real need for a water pan in kamado. As efficient as the cookers are (very little air/smoke flow for a given temp), the cooking environment is already much more humid. Edit: Now, that said, a drip pan with water to prevent the drippings from burning and giving off dirty smoke still has benefit.
  12. What about just replacing them all because wife wanted new ones?
  13. Saw this pic and immediately thought of the sailfish talk in this thread. Just incredible. Credit to the watermark photog, Amos Nachoum.
  14. I've been very happy with State Farm over a lot of years. My agent is great, the few claims I've had have been easy and smooth, the rates haven't been out of line each time I've compared (not necessarily lowest but always close). I do have some long duration "accident-free" discounts with them drive my auto rates way down though.
  15. Battery voltage drops with ambient temperature. Ambient temps drop to their low point late in the night, coincidentally when you are having your best wet dreams.
  16. Amateur. https://olsatools.com/products/10mm-socket-set
  17. Not sure what size Egg you have, but CGS has some accessories that let you drop a grate down lower into the coals: https://ceramicgrillstore.com/products/14-5-heavy-duty-stainless-searing-grid-cgs
