  1. These drink slushie stands are a common sight at Thailand street markets, they do slushies out of sodas and all kinda of beer. Sorta like an ice cream maker, the bottles get swirled in a bath of salted ice until they're slush.
  2. Mitsuwa's pricing is generally...quite premium.
  3. Depends what the watch's "purpose" is, or what the purpose of my purchase is, but I'm conscious of the horology most of the time, and sometimes it's all that matters. Swatch Sistem51 I bought to support the innovation in automated manufacturing. Seiko 5 I buy out of respect for the movement's pedigree. Zero care for aesthetics on both of those. Snoopy Speedy I bought because of Snoopy; DGAF about the watch internals - I also bought a Snoopy Timex for the same reason. I differ on this point, I don't want a fancy package on my watch, and I don't want any costs spent on packaging/fluff. I don't keep the packaging most of the time anyway. It actually pisses me off when I get a bunch of expensive packaging and box and fancy printed shit with a new watch, why not spend that money on improving the watch, or lower the price?? That said, the packaging that AP uses for service/repair returns is shameful.
  4. But 5000 free miles tho.
  5. It's best to have a friend with a Jeep for you to borrow.
  6. Just saw this. Pretty generic MI. Was entertained. Was too long. Wouldn't watch it again. Just wasn't convincing about the motivations of any of the plot or characters. Travo, the plot stands pretty much independently, no need to watch others.
  7. You don't reject the upgrade and try to get her upgraded, you just swap boarding passes as you walk down the jetway! (But I've also turned down upgrades to sit together with family many times.)
  8. Do not try to defend against old Korean grandmas deplaning and rushing the line. You will get wrecked.
  9. Is that a joke? Are we really saying every job should pay enough to save for retirement?
  10. Wtf, now we're tipping because of <dignity>??
  11. Hey look EOSE is on sale!
  12. Pics of nipples?
  13. Strange, last race I went to the cheer seemed to be "fuck you Lewis!" every time he came around. From a group of very drunk Aussies seated a few rows down.
  14. Fruit flies. Get one of the little traps, they'll all drown in it.
  15. Esquire 10yrs ago was pretty decent. It isn't that great now. If you could find someone selling back issues from 15-10yrs ago, that'd be a good start. Dappered the blog is also a good place to start.
  16. Why are they invited?
  17. Yeah, about $20.
