  1. No, most automakers don't have the guts or the position to try and choke supply to keep pricing up. Excepting exotics, cars are commodity items, and anyone who voluntarily limits their production is just going to lose sales to a competitor.
  2. Just found this, pretty comprehensive comparison of prep and cooking methods: https://food52.com/blog/27120-how-to-make-juicy-pork-chops
  3. In their defense (no, I am not defending them), those spaces look tiny!
  4. She loaded 2 discombobulated fingers into the dishwasher?
  5. Anything shared with Air China is going to suck.
  6. That flow chart cannot be correct, there is actually a path to End of Story. And Apologize? wtf? Maybe how your GF tells a story, definitely not wife.
  7. Can't be that bad if you can post on Surly.
  8. Pics of Maritza?
  9. Yeah, that's the usual arrangement in Thailand as well. I've managed to avoid it, but there have been some lucky coincidences involved.
  10. Yours have toilet paper? Most of the ones in Thailand don't. Bring your own. You learn to carry a pack of TP really quickly here.
  11. I always play though, regardless whether they're letting me play through. Fore!
  12. Tangent PSA: Many modern sports cars have gone to including an inflator with sealant goop. Don't use it unless absolutely desperate - the sealant goop destroys the tire pressure sensor and the tire, so both must be replaced. Get a free flatbed tow if you can through Roadside Assistance or AAA or your Insurance. Discount Tire will remove and plug/patch the tire from the inside for free; other tire shops typically don't charge over $25. Beats 300 for a tire plus 100 for a sensor plus 50 for another sealant cartridge. For longer road trips, carry a plug kit and an inflator. Total cost less than 100, works with all your cars. Strongly suggest a plug kit with T-handle, much easier to use than a straight handled tool. I'm partial to Safety Seal, but any of them are ok: https://www.amazon.com/Safety-Seal-KAP30-String-Storage/dp/B001DIECCK Add a pair of needlenose pliers to the kit, or even better, needlenose Channel Locks. Use to pull out the puncturing object. Plug with the plug kit. Inflate. Drive to a tire shop for proper plug/patch. On very low cars, you might get better access driving up to an inclined surface or onto something (small board, thick book, large flat rock, whatever you find around) to help raise the flat corner and give you more access. Practice at home first if you can, or at least watch a YT video. But once you get the hang of it, it's very quick, very easy, and is a near-permanent solution and doesn't cost you a tire and sensor. Additional note: There is debate on how safe it is to use a plugged tire, esp in towing or racing. Determine your own comfort level, and the condition of your tire to begin with. If it's 5yrs old and dry rotted and was needing replacement anyways, replace the damn tire! I've used plugged tires both for towing and on track cars (for many years after the plug), and had zero concerns. And yes, if the puncture is near the sidewall, replace the tire.
  13. This is the way to think about this. Your company is your company and rent is part of expenses. Your RE is your RE and you think about it as a separate entity, with consideration to appreciation, rental ROI, upkeep costs, all the normal RE considerations. And when your company's needs change and you move to another space, you still think about your RE as RE, do you rent it out and pocket that money (or use it to pay your "company" rent in the new space), do you sell it and earn the appreciation, etc.
  14. You need better friends.
  15. Because they tasted good?
  16. 3 inches is 3 inches, except on the internet, where it is 7 inches.
  17. Microwaved a potato. Salt pepper cheese. Microwaved it more.

  19. Fairly well proven that Wally has a larger effect on the market than Putin.

    Below Deck

    Would watch.
  21. That itself is not entirely implausible if the rifle was using normal ball ammo instead of an expanding hunting round, which is believable for a random internet keyboard warrior. Plenty of hunting stories of clean entry/exit and animal continuing off normally. (and I hate that I'm actually defending realism in this incredibly unrealistic movie)
  22. Armadillo, 10, shank, Q
  23. You wayyyyyyy underestimate the power of dealers and their lobby. That cancer is here forever.
  24. Frankly, Gotham cops are so inept that the city doesn't really need a mastermind villain. Riddler's talents are completely wasted in that city.
  25. This should be a televised series, airing right after BattleBots.
