  1. The all time best commercial ever made. The one quick flash of a guy using a lint roller on his clothes is hilarious (and so true if you've ever had cats).
  2. This is the one where Futureman gives us his deep and unique insight into the heart, mind, and soul of Urban Meyer.
  3. Haven't read through this thread and not going to. If not UM the only answer for me is a bullet to the temple.
  4. Hmmm. Your posts have been in this thread. I guess that would make your posts meaningless too.
  5. Bit, but, but, the binder says to go for it. All hail the almighty binder!!!
  6. My main rationale right now is that if TH is going to somehow save his ass by weaseling his way to a winning streak then I at least want him to earn it and not get things handed to him through injuries or illness. And if he can't win against an opponents best then we're finally rid of him.
  7. TH doing his scouting on the message boards paying off here.
  8. This is exactly the concern I've had the last few weeks, except that UM may not still be available a year from now so there's nol happy ending then. It's why I wanted them to go ahead and fire TH after OU when there was justification so we wouldn't risk losing UM by just assuming TH will step on his own dick one more time rhis year when he knows he has to win them all. I've seen this program fuck up golden opportunities time and again by being indecisive and worryimg about optics over winning, not the least of which was missing out on Saban. I'm fully preparimg for TH to fuck us over by winning out, CDC deciding he can't make a move this year, and UM going off the market. All because we hesitated when we should have acted after OU. If we fuck up this chance I don't care if TH stays or goes. We'd just make yet another underwhelming hire and rinse and repeat history. There's too much going on in life for me to obsess over a second rate program that can't get out of their own way to realize their potential. My interest has already been fading for a number of years, and if we don't get it right this time with UM I don't think I'm going to really care much anymore anyway. I gtew up a diehard Cowboy fan and now I can't even stand to watch the NFL at all anymore. It just wasn't fun anymore and I lost interest. I've been starting to feel the same loss of interest in UT and am afraid it's on the same path. Losing UM may well seal the deal like hiring Switzer did in Dallas.
  9. Sounds like it's settled. Let's call it a loss and fire Herman proactively today.
  10. I think Dr. Beeper was comparing Greenspoint to this Florence. I doubt this Florence was much of a partier though.
  11. We've been without a head coach for the last 10 years.
  12. First, I hope the answer is an unequivocal YES. Second, I don't see it as quite the same thing. Shaka had potentially done what he had to for UT to get in the playoffs, but it was the playoffs themselves that were cancelled. In this case Herman would have had his chance to qualify for the CCG but failed to do so.
  13. A cancellation of the ISU game might seal the deal on Herman. Without being able to beat ISU they only have one game left against a beatable WVU. If they finish with one loss then they are in the CCG. That would leave OU, OSU, and us in a three way tie with 2 losses (assuming we beat KSU and KU). The first tiebreaker is the three teams against each other. OU has beaten OSU and us which would give them the tiebreaker and put them in the CCG against ISU. Texas would be out of it and we could ditch Herman without having to lose another game.
  14. I wouldn't think the first bullet is an option. Kansas isn't open this weekend. They already have a potentially winnable home game scheduled against TCU. That's assuming they can even play this weekend, which may be questionable given last week's cancellation and COVID protocols. I don't know if the BIG 12 could force them to move TCU in order to play us, but at this late juncture that seems unlikely to me.
  15. Just take the loss, pussy.
  16. Yup. Or if both teams don't meet the numbers for available players. It's not going to be a forfeit. It would simply be one less game in our won/loss records.
  17. Per the rules based on win percentage there would be no tie, so the tiebreaker scenarios are irrelevant.
  18. I'm not sure why the status of the FSU QB would hurt ISU.
  19. It's pretty clear in the second paragraph. It's determined by winning percentage. If we finish the regular season with one less win and the same losses as another team due to a missing game, we have a lower winning percentage and it's not a tie. Championship Game Participants. The two teams that complete the regular season with the highest winning percentage(s) will be the representatives in the Conference Championship Game. The team that wins the championship game will be the Big 12 Champion.
