  1. Thanks Mr. Brugler. Let us know when you've done the rest.
  2. We fired our guns but the British kept a coming. There wasn't quite as many as there was a while ago. We fired once more and they began a running, On down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico.
  3. Well, being an idoit is clearly something you have experience with, so you may be the best judge of whether Weigman is one.
  4. In addition to one including OOC games while the other doesn't, the first one is just looking at number of penalties. The other one is yards. Which further makes the point that our oppents aren't getting called for the bigger penalties like holding and PI despite going up against probably the best dline and best receivers in the conference.
  5. I know we had a preseason poll on what we expected for the season irrespective of whether we consider that a success. What I'm asking here is what would you consider a successful season given where we are now. Although not a part of the poll I'm curious how that compares to your preseason definition of success. Given what this team has achieved has your definition of success for this year changed?
  6. This was grear if for no other reason than to heat Craig Way's call of some the big plays in this game. Love his enthusiasm.
  7. More posts like this one and I suspect the username will check out.
  8. That's not new. The corp has always been fond of max johnson.
  9. My personal opinion is that nothing about Campbell has changed. The reason for the trajectory change of the program is that he had the good fortune of 4 years with an NFL starter level QB at a program that will rarely get someone like that.
  10. So, I know the call was overturned by review, but I'm mystified by the original call. Unless I misunderstood something or am an idiot (both possible) it sounded like there is a rule that a QB fumble in the backfield can't be advanced if recovered by an offensive teammate. Is this a new rule? If not, how the hell have I missed it through decades of watching college football?
  11. When I think of Cal, The Graduate always comes to mind. The scenes of Ben following Elaine Robinson around the campus with no dialogue to the sound of Simon and Garfunkel.
  12. Yup. All of this. It's why I don't have the slightest sympathy for Stanford and Cal. They had multiple opportunities to make the PAC a powerhouse that USC and UCLA would have been happy in, but their arrogance and elitism wouldn't allow it. They can now wallow in their own downfall together.
  13. I don't know how good we'll be this year, but the incessant declarations that Sark is incapable of producing a playoff team because he hasn't yet is a lazy basis. Remember when Clemsoning under Swinney was a thing? Right up until it wasn't anymore.
  14. Maybe not their fans, but fans of other teams and casual fans might be affected. Right now, depending on the games that are on, I will sit and watch ISU, OSU, and BYU because it's still beg time college football. If they are relegated to a lower tier I will be disinclined to care about watching them, just like I would be unlikely to sit and watch two FCS teams play now. Also, as someone above pointed out, if you relegate the current bottom feeders and punching bags, someone else has to become that. Wins and lisses are a zero sum game. How enthused will fanbases continue to be that suddenly become perennial cellar dwellers that were once middle of the road with occasional good seasons?
  15. Tough shit for them. Nobody forced them to schedule MOO and N.Ill. noncon games. For that matter nobody forced them into the shitty ACC either. They had their choice of any conference. Don't expect too many tears shed for those fuckers.
  16. I can't agree with him, albeit only because he's a smug insuferable twat.
  17. You could have been polite and asked him how insurance sales are in Scotland.
