  1. Was gifted this trawler from my BIL after dinner yesterday. He’s been doing modeling for a long time and half of his garage is his work area and model storage. There’s a bunch of scratch built details not included in the box kit that he added for authenticity. Here’s the box picture. The lair …
  2. With a layer of crushed up lays between the pb and the j. /fixed
  3. Don’t know diddly squat about a termination lawsuit but tell me more about this new investment opportunity.
  4. If you look closely, I have a rifle muzzle down in a case. There’s a little kick out to the right of the gas pedal that kept it away from my foot. That worked pretty good but would like something a little more secure.
  5. Picked up a 2024 Mule ProFXT 1000 Ranch Edition Saturday. Got it back to our place and about 5 hrs on it running around that afternoon and Sunday. Gonna be a fun machine for work and play on the place. Any recs for a front seat gun rack?
  6. Great car. Doesn’t have side pipes so I’m out
  7. It is and bitching about spending money on the boat is a close second.
  8. Bonus points for the belt mounted phone holster.

    Getting old sucks

Dad has too but sadly, as we sit with him here at the hospital, the next 36hrs may be his last. Thanks for posting that.
  10. Carry a sleeve of micropur tablets instead of the filter straw for water purification backup.
  11. Still use one on the second floor of our camp house. Heats up the space pretty good for an un-insulated one room open space.
  12. My edc pocket knife is a Gerber EVO serrated. The rods in my Lansky turn box sharpener are barely larger than the groove and hit the high sides really well at the same angle as the original grind. As few passes in each groove and a couple more low angle on the back side and the serrated part gets really dangerous.
  13. Probably need to watch out for blown up bridges and the occasional pelican
  14. We did this with dad’s accounts when mom passed. The POA terminates upon death and you will have to wait until you get a death certificate and letter of testamentary before you can do anything with the accounts. Also, fill out transfer on death/ beneficiary forms for any accounts (banking, investment, etc) that can pass outside of her estate unless moving to the trust takes care of this.
  15. RIP Paul Harrell. Watermelons and big bottles of orange soda no longer fear for their lives.
  16. Nice! What wrapper/dryer do you have? I replaced broken guides and re-wrapped them on 5 or 6 rods last year but haven’t even top coated with epoxy yet.
  17. Someone tune up the Uncle Rico competition thread.
  18. Titanium Eco-Drive Diver in the house!
  19. If do right, no can defend.
  20. We switched our power back in March and built a spreadsheet with last 12 months of usage that broke down our bills by delivery charges, rate for 0-100kWh and 100+ kWh etc. Plugged in various current rates from the electricity providers in our area on PtC. Ended up with Gexa Eco Choice 24 at 8.42 c/kWh and $4.39/mth & 3.89 c/kWh delivery. This plan was slightly higher than our previous plan based in same monthly usage but would save $3-400 a year over any other new 12-24 month plan we could find for our area. Same plan is currently 9.1c/kWh and same del fees.

That’s a 67-72. The square bodies were 74 into the 80s. My first truck was a 65 step side with a 283 and dad had a 68 short bed fleet side, then a 78 short bed fleet side complete with tin roof camper shell. The 78 has been parked in the garage since 2009 but is about to see the light of day again.
