  1. I bet you could catch a real nice bass if hooked one of them little trout through the lips and cast it out under some lilly pads.
  2. I’ve been listing to a lot of Amyl and the Sniffers lately. So have my neighbors.
  3. That allocation stuff is pretty much correct. My wife worked for the area Toyota distributor for a long time in an IT related role. She was able to get vehicles on an employee program for less than the dealer purchased them. We were able to order vehicles exactly the way we wanted through the same system the dealers used. We would choose a vehicle model and trim level from distributor allocated batch and then choose details like color and options that we wanted. A few months later we would go to a dealer of our choice and pick it up. Was a 15+ year period where we didn’t have to do any of the dealer negotiation dance. Really enjoyed that.
  4. I didn’t take @G650 for a vanity plate guy.
  5. Pretty sure I saw a Facebook short of your boat being launched. You might have even been driving.
  6. Get a fan motor while your at it. Maybe a contactor too. $200 fan turned into a $500+ service call over a weekend a few weeks ago for me.
  7. From Fuck Me! To Fuck You!
  8. Good luck and keep everybody in the boat
  9. Quite possibly the first vertical mine entrance to be sealed off with foam-in-a-can.
  10. That’s a fantastic boat. Did you go for the Helmaster Ex Autopilot on the big Yamaha’s?
  11. Maybe shit my dads says, but … My dad is 90. We moved him to a memory care facility in early January. He’s doing pretty good there. I was visiting this weekend and we were sitting in his room, talking and watching a fishing show on TV. One of the aids knocks on the door and sticks her head in and says it time to eat. Dad pops up out of his chair and says supper on the table and pussy on the bed are two things I can still move pretty fast for.
  12. Great Zeppelin cover
  13. Probably only has 10 or 11 thousand hrs on it. A little work and youre good for 3 or 4K more.
  14. Marathon 41mm GSAR Automatic, IMO
  15. I would always bring one just in case. There are lots of shallow spots and rock bars where you can play under supervision without one but I would have them wearing it in the deeper pools for sure. My daughter (no pics) brought a friend from college one summer who wore a PFD the whole time in the water. Kayaking, paddle board, playing frisbee in waist deep water it didn’t matter. Wasn’t a confident swimmer so the pfd stayed on.
  16. It varies from a couple of inches over shallow rapids to 10+ feet deep in the pool above the dam. What is you question or concern? River flow is 27cfs which is pretty low.
  17. Not a fan of anything on wheel studs except a nut. Any oil etc you put on there reduces the friction torquing up and you can stretch or pop the studs before reaching your needed torque. Clean and torque up dry, then put on some type of dry coating to prevent rust.
  18. Better pack a good battery impact tool if your worried about stuck lug nuts. We follow a bunch of FB rv groups for TX rving and our camper brand and while a TPMS can give you peace of mind, they usually give little warning. Seems like I have read several of people losing a complete tire and rim several miles back down the road and the TPMS is happily telling them they have 72psi in all tires. That said, I would put on in and a camera system if we were taking multi day, cross country trips. And I’m more worried about wrecking the fender flare and side of the trailer with a partially thrown tread than getting the lugnuts off. Seen many more pics of the wheel wells and trailer sides all torn up than someone complaining they can’t loosen a set of lugnuts.
  19. Spent the weekend and 4th at our favorite site at Birch Creek SP. Definitely warm but had a good time. Did a little boating, a little paddling, some cooking and drinking. Boat rides at dusk in a flat lake are really nice. Had a pretty good storm yesterday afternoon. We had noticed a little rain to the south on a trip down to the marina to get an ice cream and as we came out after our purchase it looked real ugly. Got out of the No wake zone and put the hammer down for the 8 mile run back to the campsite. Rain hit just as I finished get the boat anchored back up and the family secured the campsite. Watched a lot of idiots still running on the lake or swimming as the lightning started.
  20. It’s like they don’t ever overland, bro!
  21. Got drunk and rode a pump jack.
