  1. I don't think the dude that sucker punches the kid is the 67yo, I believe its a student from the other team. The 67yo is probably the guy in black with the hat that comes at the player in the first couple of seconds. A comment from the video said the old guys wife was trash talking the bench the whole game and when the player said something the old guy came at him.
  2. There is also a version where you use a needle to run the butt leader up through the hollow center of flyline then do a snell or nail knot. I think it was covered the Kreh's saltwater flyfishing book. The bottom of this pic shows the result of that method.
  3. Probably leaves all the lights on too, amirite?
  4. Is that a new manufacture from Ruger?
  5. Need a that's fucking awesome thread but until then ...
  6. I don't think they touched on the numbers trait in the show as much as the books and perhaps even the Cruise movies. It had me wondering a bit. Maybe they will expand that a bit in future episodes.

    Shit My Kid Says

He's gonna come up and kick you right in the shin now and claim impunity.
  8. Seems like something for the boat would be a no brainer.
  9. That youtube channel I posted upthread have some video's on them doing exactly this. They got one that was hit and wounded by a train and the DNR guys dispatched it and called them to come get it. Seem's like an easy way to get a lot of protein if you can drop everything and head out as soon as you get a call.
  10. There are a couple of other prequels: The Enemy (#8), Night School (#21), then The Affair and Killing Floor. I haven't read The Affair. I looked back at my reading list and I haven't read 4,6,8,12,16. Probably will correct that now. I hope season 2 uses Tripwire (Book 3) instead of Die Trying. Tripwire is one of my favorite Reacher books.
  11. You just described the plot of all of the books. It is what it is.
  12. Shout out to Lee Child’s cameo.
  13. Wife was up in Cleveland on business 10-15 years ago and her and a colleague were thinking about dropping by after work one day. Nope, closed at 5PM. WTF? It shouldn't even open before 5PM.
  14. My daughter (nopics) is an entry level engineer for a large municipal water system (Not Austin). She works on all kinds of upstream and down stream projects. When she got the job, I told her as a general rule, don't shake hands with the waste treatment plant guys.

  16. I can appreciate the effort but 'You're mine Bender, for two months I gotcha'
  17. I’m not gonna judge but it sounds like you have some first hand knowledge.
  18. Straight #2 diesel clouds at about 30F and gels at 10-15F. #1 is -20F or better. Additives can drop this even more.
  19. Binged through it last night and finished this morning. Thought it was pretty good. Read most of the books, enjoyed the first movie, tolerated the second. Will watch again pretty soon with the wife.
  20. Kinda disappointed that a velvet dogs playing poker hasn’t been posted yet. Surly b slipping My daughter (no pics) took art classes all through high school and college. Here’s a few crappy pics of some spray paint style canvasses she did for a few bands she likes for her apartment wall.
  21. Y’all’s water situation would be the roughest for me. I guess the sauna and a sponge rinse would be ok too but no hot showers (at least for your wife) would be the deal killer. Those small propane instant hot water heaters, a small rv water pump, and a shower head makes for an easy shower set up.
  22. I don’t think he has said anything about raising animals. That YouTube channel I posted on the first page or so has a bunch of videos on building their coop and raising chickens in attic conditions.
  23. Not a jetty tuna IMO. Looks more small AJ to me.
  24. Around 2000 for me in my ‘88 YJ. No surprise having to roll start a bunch of Jeeps. Next vehicle was a ‘98 Ram diesel with the 5 speed. Wasn’t push starting that bitch.
