  1. I posted this up last Thanksgiving after Dad and I spent some time going through his safe. L to R: M48 Mauser, K98 Mauser, H& R Garand, Sks, Remington 1917 Enfield in 30-06, Springfield 1903 in 30-06, Sporterized Remington 1903 in 30-06 with a 3x7 scope on swing away.
  2. I get the show up early rather than late statements but I used to work with a sales guy who always was 30+ minutes early to a sales appointment, then show up and ask to be seen then vs waiting around for the agreed appointment time. Used to piss me off whenever I'd go make calls with him because he wanted to be early and then impatient about waiting around until the customer expected us.
  3. Fixed it for how much I piss when I drink a lot of beer.
  4. Measure twice, you can still hit the joists. Ask me how I know. Also, a 6 3/8" hole saw make this job really easy. Makes a mess but quick and easy.
  5. These are very easy to put in. We had some painting done at our place last month and prior to the painting, I remove and old wood trim fixture and a couple of 48" tube lights. Had the painters, texture the ceiling and paint. We marked off locations and installed the above lights. Took an hour or so. Biggest time was marking off the locations and making sure you won't hit any joists, wiring or pipes in the ceiling.
  6. Sounds like this could be one phase of a 2022 Uncle Rico Combine https://www.surlyhorns.com/board/index.php?/topic/6145-uncle-rico-cant-even-throw-the-ball-80-yards-you-dumbass/
  7. Get you some pex tools, brass elbows & tees, some pex tube and crimps. Also need a few hose clamps and the brass 1/2 NPS to pex elbow that are used on faucets and valves. The plastic ones used by the mfr break, same as the plastic check valve on the water heaters. I use a couple of the Klein zipper bags to keep plumbing and electrical supplies/spare parts organized in a tube that goes in the pass through. Works great since I can grab a bag and my normal tool bag and get to work. While your at it, add some thermal fuses for the water heater and a sail switch for the furnace and you will cover the most common failure issues with those systems.
  8. Took the trailer up to our family property last weekend and stayed for a couple of nights. Didn't do much other than check a few game camera's, shoot a few guns and cook. Had the generator and actually ran the A/C for a bit on Friday evening when it was muggy. First time doing that with the genset and happy to see it worked ok. Nice weekend with the wife and son. We always bring the trailer to the house the day before a trip to load up and get the fridge cooled off. When hooking up the power I noticed that the 50a twistlock wasn't really clicking in like it should. I messed with it a bit a little piece of plastic fell out and then it twisted ok. I looked and it just seemed like one of the edges and wasn't a big deal. Fastforward to the next day when connecting at camp and the whole inside of the connector had broken away. Opps. Was able to remove the outside cover and fish the plug part back out and connect with the cord and wrap the whole thing with duct tape and was good for the weekend. You can see my trash bag weather proofing in the last pic. I've had the a spare receptacle and connector on my spare parts amazon list since we bought the trailer but never got around to ordering them. Well, they should arrive tonight and I should be good to go on the next trip.
  9. No tags? GW Benny Richards would not be happy about that.
  10. As least it’s above water, so you got that going for you.

Look at you pm from a week or two ago
  12. Lol. Drove through Mustang today coming off the freeway and 6 miles from there as the crow flies right now. Maybe Cuban will bring back Beaver Bucks.
  13. In case you haven't heard, Ram finally issued a recall for 2019-2020 Ram 2500/3500/4500 diesel trucks for replacement of the crappy CP4 injection pump. Go to https://www.mopar.com/en-us/my-vehicle/recalls/search.html and put in your VIN to see if your truck is affected. This thread from HDRams forum has a bunch of info from Mopar and NHTSA.

    AMMO THREAD

I’ve bought from most of them at one time or another it seems like. Powder Valley, Natchez, Midwayusa, Midsouthshooter, Cabelas/BPS, Brownells, Grafs depending on who has what in stock and best price/sale. In the current environment with scare supplies there is a great thread in Thehighroad.org reloading forum with guys posted when they have found something in stock. It’s probably the best way to find instock primers right now. Gotta be fast when they come up though https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/where-are-reloading-components-available-not-a-discussion-thread-link-required.883031/page-53
