  1. The shingle bundle that broke the deck joist’s back? Also: the Backyard Engineer’s Guide on how not to dynamically load test a structure.
  2. I had a roommate in college that brought up an old tan trihull boat with a 75 Chrysler on that was branded as Bass Bandit. Headed to the lake for drinking and skiing during the summer and the the B in Bass got taped over leaving it as the ass Bandit. It was an old POS but it floated and could pull a ski or a hydro slide so we were golden.
  3. While you could have mini guns in that drone blazing at those coots and I wouldn’t care a federal GW may differ in his opinion. I would not be posting that in a public forum. Most of those guys have an 8” cedar fence post jammed so far up their ass you can see it when they remove their hat.
  4. Who was the guy that Vic started a thread of that was a player in his own mind? Had a bunch of tats and shitty beard? He posted a pic of a fridge loaded up with shit like this one time I believe.
  5. Garage Journal forums has a whole sub-forum on garage flooring. Should be able to find everything you want to know. FWIW, couple of neighbors did the DIY epoxy and they looked good for 3 or 4 years or so then started to flake up. Biggest thing is cleaning the floor well and using a surface grinder. I don't think either did the grinding and that's a crucial step from what I've read.
  6. When i was a kid, we would carve a jack o'lantern, put the candle inside and put it on top of a 6' ladder that had a sheet draped over it for a body. I would submit that this demented gourd would make for a fine example.
  7. Shit I was able to find a pic ... ETA: I think one of these planes was one of his, they had a yellow one and a blue one. Notice the other two barely over the far trees. They did this for several hours that day.
  8. Had an uncle that retired as Chief Pilot for Delta. He had several planes, among them, a pair of Stearman's. He and my aunt flew them up to Oshkosh once or twice after he had retired. When he passed away (Fuck ALS) the local flying club did flyovers of his graveside service with 8 or 9 Stearmans. We went to their farmhouse after the service with the family and the club flew over all afternoon dropping notes of condolence. Got a couple of pics somewhere of 4 or 5 in a line coming low over the pasture. Pretty cool sendoff.
  9. @dieucla98 Is that a homebrew CNC router table?
  10. Ate a lot of split-down-the-middle and fried hotdog sandwiches as a yute, so yeah, serve it up
  11. Just a 3400hp, 38” draft, 50 knot jet boat sportfisher
  12. Beep Beep!
  13. No way it’s $1500. A dish tailgater and Wally HD receiver package is ~$450 at multiple places online.
  14. Please tell me you still have that 42 or one of your kids/grandkids has it and is treating it nicely.
  15. She better get her ass in the fraidy hole.
  16. Fuck that guy. I refuse to give him any views for destroying shit like that.
  17. Old school.. everything is a flip flop or house shoe to me. My 85YO MIL calls them thongs. Imagine the young sales girl at JC Penny's face a few years ago when the MIL ask her where the thongs were as she needed new ones for camping. And back to the video, you know he wasn't in Louisiana because he didn't yell at his wife to put on a pot of rice and start a sauce piquant.
  18. Azah needs a Carmen Miranda fruit hat to complete her wardrobe.
  19. The only time I've ever wished my diesel truck would roll coal is stopped at a light next to a rolled down window, loud music player. Would like ease into the correct position and fill the car with smoke.
  20. Dude out-banksyed Banksy
  21. Put $8 on pump 4 and gimme three of those $4 scratch offs.
  22. Haven't heard this song in a long time. Sharleen has a early Dana Delaney look of which I was very fond of. Any of you keyboard guys still swapping out floppy disks on your synth in the middle of a song?
  23. Isaac’s Awesome Adventures Pretty cool rig he has and he backs better than 90% of the people at the ramp
