  1. It’s not FP but it will do.
  2. He was an early band member of the RHCP.
  3. Lol that you would let a wrecked/disabled used vehicle out of your possession to a stranger and expect to go retrieve stuff from it at a later date.
  4. Not enough money in the wreath fund to cover liability insurance.
  5. That's a concrete surface cap to prevent erosion and has little to do with the strength of the bridge abutment. The end of the bridge is supported by the piers, which should extend down to bedrock. If left unchecked it could eventually lead to subsidence of the roadway at the bridge abutment but highly unlikely that there would be an issue with the bridge.
  6. 5200 below the waterline on stuff you never plan on taking off/apart without destroying the part. 4200 above the waterline and it is sort of removable. I like the 4200 fast cure version. I wouldn’t use any of these on an RV roof. Bed the vent with butyl and then use dicor over the screws and seams. Another option I’m seeing is using Eternalbond tape over all the seams. It’s a semi-permanent solution and doesn’t have the upkeep of self-leveling sealant. It looks like the tearing and bubbling of rubber RV roofs due air incursion into a cracked sealant seam at the front of your RV can be reduced/eliminated by a couple of layers 4” Eternalbond from side to side along the front cap to roof transition.
  7. When I was 19, I did a guy in Laos with a rifle shot at a thousand yards in high wind. Maybe eight or even ten guys in the world could have made that shot. It's the only thing I was ever good at... Well, see you tomorrow.
  8. We went up PP on the day after a race one year and the banners and hay bales and stuff were still up on the course. I pulled up underneath the start banner, power braked, then launched … … the minivan up the mountain.
  9. Fixed.
  10. Need more Cory Lambert and Walt Longmire's on the case.
  11. Good for them if they got it up that high on a CrewMax 4WD. I had a 2007 model that was 1340 lbs. Ran out of payload real quick with a camper top, shit in the bed and my fat ass in the driver seat.
  12. Is the vent on the roof? There you are typically talking about a self leveling sealant. Dicor or Alpha Systems depending if your roof is EPDM or TPO. Check with your manufacturer to see what you need. You can check manuals online too to see what is recommended. The butyl tape from above is usually used to bed what ever you are mounting down to the roof or wall. Use it down in screw holes too, then the self leveling sealant around the seams and over the screws etc. Look at some videos online that describe the process. There is also a non-sagging version for use on walls etc. I also use Geocel ProflexRV sealant for things on the side of our trailer (outlets, hatches, etc) as works better that the typical silicone sealants.
  13. Gonna run out of vehicle payload/tongue weight way before hitting 12K trailer GVWR, IMO. 2021 4x4 models have a payload of about 1550 lbs per the brochure and the door sticker will be less than that. Put 2 adults and some stuff in the bed and usable payload will be about 1K. That's a 7500-8000lb GVWR trailer. They really need a TowMax option that gets the payload to about 1800-2K to go with that trailer rating.
  14. It's ok though, I got one of these ...
  15. This.
  16. Did my 30k service on my diesel Ram today. 3 gal oil/ filter, two fuel filters and air filter. The filters cost me $175 at my door (shoutout to Geno’s Garage for all your diesel Ram needs) and oil is $20/ gal, so $235 all in. Dealer quotes about $450-550 for the same service. Used oil goes back into the same jugs and gets dropped off at Walmart by their used oil tank. Just drive by and set the jugs out and they will dump them and dispose. Drained diesel goes to the ranch for burning brush piles.
  17. Just a 13 minute encore of Play that Funky music, prince style.
  18. Pos rep for perfectly executed scorpion flip. Bonus rep for landing it in the back of a moving truck.

    AMMO THREAD

There's an Academy 1 mile from my house. 2 Fridays ago, they had a full wall of 223/556, 9mm and various other rifle rounds and 4 pallets of shotgun shells. I found a 1k round box of Fed M855 that was $670 but thats too high. Ended up with a flat of shotgun shells and some bullets for reloading. Went back this past Friday and they were down to 2 pallets and about half of the other ammo was gone. I take State Hwy 90 from Navasota to Madisionville to head up to Dads or our ranch and there is a little gunshop just north of Anderson that is loaded with ammo. Lots of different rifle and pistol calibers. Definitely stop off if headed through that way.
  20. Took my dad over to the ranch Saturday, mostly just to look around a bit and get him out of the house. Forgot to stop at the store and get any fresh fixings for lunch but then just figured we'd head to town and eat if we got hungry. Ended up finding a portion of fence that needed a bunch of work. Spent a while on that and started to get a little hungry and I dug around in the food tote I always throw in the truck when headed up there. Found part of an old loaf of bread that wasn't too much out of date and some vienna's. A couple of vienny foldovers and a cold shiner blond hit the spot.
  21. Get a loan for $200 billion and then get into the ranching business. Pretty soon you'll have $100 billion and then just write off the loan.
  22. Not the first time he has said similar stuff at a press conference, IIRC.
  23. Think I’d pass on going after Buffalo at an erotic ranch. I mean, I can stay home and do that. *Just kidding honey, in case you happen to be reading Surly
