  1. The manufacturer of ours stopped shipping dual ACs for a while, even if it was special ordered. They also move to a Furrion brand vs AirXcel Machs. Seems the Furrion AC has the temp sensor up in the unit and not at the thermostat (WTF is that?) and you had to have the AC fan running along with the furnace to sense heat temps correctly. Several posts about people being pissed of about this as you couldn't boondock without running a gen all the time or you had to have big battery bank.
  2. I don't have a problem with the Chief lifeguard responsible for 1000 employees making that money but I do question the part on what seems like admin positions getting OT. But then again, what the hell do I know about lifeguarding?
  3. I really hope you can find an in-stock RV AC that will meet your needs. From what I understand supply is really stretched right now.

    Mammoth WVH

Shit ton of blow will do that to ya Yes, exactly.
  5. I’m in $2200 between yesterday and today. Went ahead and bought a set of GY Endurance for the RV today too. Standing by my truck watching them and figure I’ll need a set for it by fall. I’ll pick up the RV next Friday early and get the tires put on, then we are gonna park in the driveway for the weekend and spend some time doing stuff on it. I’m gonna check/repack the axle bearing as there are lots of comments of Dexter not greasing them very well from the factory. Gonna install my solar controller stuff too.
  6. Sped up my timeline. Got new kicks for the suburban today, scheduled boat trailer replacements for in the morning and will make a decision tomorrow on whether to go ahead and order the RV trailer tires right now. Discount Tire has a $50 rebate on Goodyear’s through Sunday so that helps and when I started talking 3 sets my guy kept knocking stuff off to get the price down.

    AMMO THREAD

Mohawk 600 243 Win here. 100gr Cor-Lokts in a deers shoulder and they rarely take more than a few steps in my experience. 70gr Ballistic tips over 41.8grains of Varget hits coyotes really hard.

    AMMO THREAD

I was changing the oil on my truck this morning and my wife came outside said she saw on the neighborhood FB page where someone was asking why there was a line this morning at Academy. She said someone else posted that they were waiting for the the store to open at 9am to get ammo and that the line started building at 6:30 and to get there early if you wanted to get some. My wife asked me if I needed to go buy some ammo or did I have enough stock. My reply: https://www.nicepng.com/png/detail/2-24510_trollface-deal-with-it-troll-face-png.png
  9. Or a fiberglass deck and wash down hose. Me, crushed goldfish, bread crumbs or smushed grape? Blasted into the scuppers they go.
  10. Yep. My first thought was that the dumbass didn’t even stop to check for damage to the boat but then my next thought was if there’s damage better get it to the barn before she goes down in the channel.
  11. No food on the boat rule cancelled for 2021?
  12. 4 trips a day instead of 2? Still same price per trip, advertising limits most trips.
  13. Cutoff wheel and my 20v Dewalt grinder says I can get into one of those in less than a minute, but the would keep a gun out the hands of kids messing around.
  14. We enjoyed the Princeton Hot Springs in Nathrop. Spent half a day there with the kids alternating between the river pools and the tube pool. Kids went back there year or so ago on a trip by themselves after submitting Mt Elbert. We rented sandboards at Kristi Mountain Sports in Alamosa to slide on the dunes.
  15. My suggest would be to join FB groups or manufacturer forums for the trailers you are looking at and read about what people with the models you are looking at are towing with and how well that is working for them. We did that in the week between when we first looked at the brand we bought and when when made our purchase. Our trailer model was pretty much on the dividing line between those using half and 3/4 tow vehicles. Lots of buyers of our trailer started with a 1/2 ton after a sales guy said they would be fine and then moved up to a 3/4 ton after a few white knuckle trips.
  16. Can't tell if that's the muzzle or handgrip sticking out. Not gonna zoom it.
  17. Blown out Mullet Bono was the best Bono, except for the bolo tie. Those things were everywhere for about 2 years around that time. Don't remember if Bono kicked it off or was just riding along.
  18. Looks like that's from a whole channel devoted to street fights in Austin TX Street Fights TV https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCazGlbA17F9An1pfjISih1w
  19. Actual GVWR if your trailer is typically less an issue for trucks these days as is the vehicle cargo capacity. Go look on the sticker in your door jam. It will tell you a weight that the occupants and cargo isn’t to exceed. Take this weight, subtract how much you and your family weigh, subtract any extra cargo (bikes, coolers, grills firewood, etc) that may be in the bed and the result is the max tongue weight. Now compare this weight to the listed tongue weight of the trailers you are looking at, realizing published tongue weights in brochures are usually dry weights a good bit lower than actual loaded weight. 12% of trailer GVWR is probably a better number. As an example, we bought a Grand Design 2800BH last summer. It’s published tongue weight is 604lb, dry weight is 6400lbs and GVWR is 8000lbs. My actual loaded tongue weight measured on scales was 1080lbs. I bought a Ram 2500 4x4 diesel with a 2380lb load capacity. With a 4 adults, a camper top and a bed full of gear I’m right at the published weight rating for my truck but my truck exceed the weight of the trailer and tows and tracks Spend some time reading and learn about vehicle and trailer weights, weight distributing hitches etc and take what the dealer guys tell you with a grain of salt regarding whether your vehicle is suitable or not. Pretty much when you pull out of the dealership you will be on your own.
