  1. I’d bet he had the trailer backed in so far that it was floating until he pulled it out of the water. That move is pretty much standard boat ramp fuckup video fodder.

    SpaceX

Just another Wednesday, no big deal, just launching 60 more Starlink satellites and bring the first stage booster back down and landed for its 7th time.
  3. Need to add this to the arsenal @troph for that beach trip
  4. Maynard has an Easter message
  5. Performance wise, yes. Construction wise the 40's parent case is the 10mm, and is just shortened with all other dimensions the same. The 38Super has the 38ACP as the parent case and the 9mm uses the 7.65x21 as a parent case. You could trim 10mm case down to make 40 if you needed but you cant make 9 from a 38S or vice versa. /pendanticfirearmtalk
  6. Ma’am, you might want to keep the kids on the trail as you don’t want to disturb the snakes
  7. Do you even double stack, bro?
  8. 38 Super is to 9mm as 10mm is to 40S&W* Lots of IPSC shooters run 38 Super guns to meet major power factor requirements. *Not 100% accurate statement but close enough.
  9. Hauled the trailer in Friday morning and go my new GY Endurance tires installed, then parked it in the driveway over the weekend to do some maintenance and upgrades. Did a bunch little stuff inside like swapping a faucet and adding some hooks and brackets but mainly worked on fabricating a solution to mounting the solar charge controller in my pass through storage area. I built up a little frame out of clear pine 1x2s to support a sheet of 7/16 plywood and boxed it in with 1/4 ply. I bought a Kreg pocket hole jig about a year or so ago and hadn't used it before and am a believer now for quick joinery work. Sized to box to fit a plumbing access panel for a cover. Drilled a hole in the wall of the trailer to put in a Furrion solar inlet receptacle. These ports are only good for 10A but will work fine as I only carry 2 100W panels and connect them in series. I screwed up and didn't plan ahead on my battery wiring and didn't have enough to wire that in but will do that in 2 weeks from. Should be enough room in the box to add a small inverter to power a couple of outlets in the trailer if needed.
  10. Ladyfish on a fly in the 1st gut would be fun
  11. Neg rep to all you guys can't talk full auto firearms without post this. Also, I would make a trip to one of these shoots to look, talk and consider before buying a Cl 3 weapon.
  12. We did that to a buddies 4x4 deer lease suburban back in high school. Lots of cutoff wheels in the grinder and sawzall blades then put on a rattle can camo job. Spend the summer cruising around town in it before hauling back down to the lease.
  13. One of the best videos and songs of MTV. I mean who wouldn't want to be blasting through the seas off Antigua on a 70' ketch with a beautiful girl on board.
  14. If you buy a stripped lower, it usually doesn't have a defined rifle or pistol designation. When you build up the lower, go ahead and build/assemble it as a pistol first and mate with a pistol upper (I like to make a time stamped pic to document) and then rebuild as a rifle if you want. This way you can always take it back to a pistol.
  15. Do you have Grill Skills? Wait for the drop at 3:45
  16. This right here. DTFH Spring Break '87!
  17. Buddy Christ approves of this thread
  18. Fuck yeah!
  19. You a fan of a Big Kahuna Burger too?
  20. Do you have any other SBRs or AR pistols (don’t answer this)? Having a short barreled upper and neither of the above, and posting about it online might be construed as constructive intent by overzealous 3 letter types. I was advised once not to store a short barrel uppers around regular AR rifles for that reason and to build up every lower as a pistol the first time mated to an upper. Your guidance may be something else but just passing along what I was told.
  21. I built some quick shelves out of 2x4s and 7/16 OSB in a couple of shipping containers. The rears are full 4x8 sheets with 2x4s vertical and 2x4s for joists supports under the osb. The ones on the left are 16" x 96" (2 cuts on the osb) with 2x4 verticals and 2x2 (saw) for the joist. Put them up real quick and they hold a bunch of stuff as you can see. Need to build another 16" on the RH side and and workbench on the left by the door and this one will be good. If you don't want to build, we've also used several of these shelves and with enclosed bins like on the second shelf. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-Black-5-Tier-Heavy-Duty-Industrial-Welded-Steel-Garage-Shelving-Unit-90-in-W-x-90-in-H-x-24-in-D-HBR902490W5/310651467
  22. No money shot of the derka dogs on June 27?
  23. The manufacturer of ours stopped shipping dual ACs for a while, even if it was special ordered. They also move to a Furrion brand vs AirXcel Machs. Seems the Furrion AC has the temp sensor up in the unit and not at the thermostat (WTF is that?) and you had to have the AC fan running along with the furnace to sense heat temps correctly. Several posts about people being pissed of about this as you couldn't boondock without running a gen all the time or you had to have big battery bank.
  24. I don't have a problem with the Chief lifeguard responsible for 1000 employees making that money but I do question the part on what seems like admin positions getting OT. But then again, what the hell do I know about lifeguarding?
  25. I really hope you can find an in-stock RV AC that will meet your needs. From what I understand supply is really stretched right now.
