  1. This is exactly what happened at my house where my wife is by herself. If your pipes freeze and burst, the ice in the line may make a ice plug that keeps it from leaking any water. Once it warms backup the ice plug melts and water flows. I didn’t get any pics but a while my wife was getting the water shut off, water soaked enough of my garage ceiling for a 4’x6’ portion of the Sheetrock to collapse. I would at least make sure I know where the water cutoff is at and have a tool available to cut it off. Mine happened about 4 hrs after the power came back on after being off for 36 hrs.
  2. Well, put me on Team busted pipe. NW Harris co, power out since 2 am Sunday, came on about noon today. Wife’s there by herself and I’m up in Tyler taking care of my dad. Pipe in the ceiling of the garage that feeds the master bath tub on the 2nd floor let go it looks like. I guess it froze and when the power came back on and thawed out there was a gusher between the floors. Collapsed the garage ceiling onto all my shit on that side of the garage. At least it was the garage and not elsewhere in the house. Guess I’ll get to use that PEX repair kit I bought for the RV. Gotta pickup some shark bite fittings on my way back after this next storm comes through.
  3. Just go with a classic but only if you have the overcoat to go with it.

Everything I’ve read on these is they have the same bullet as the ranger but without a nickel case and produced as part of US gov contract (maybe FBI???) I’ve shot some a while back but still have several boxes stashed away. Went ahead and bought these as they were about the same price as most other jhp rounds when you could find them.

Found a few components and a box of hollow points traveling up to my dads on Friday. I have several box of those win white box hp that I bought years ago at Academy for about $40 i think. and haven’t seen them for sale in a while. I had read that they are Win rangers packed like that for LE sales but don’t know for sure.
  7. Pretty much the same for any _____________ dealer. *insert whatever you are buying in blank
  8. Propylene glycol is non toxic in smaller quantities. You wouldn’t want to chug a full glass of it but residual amounts in your lines won’t hurt you. If you’re like us, your probably don’t drink water from your rv tap anyway.

Oh for the days of 2 cent 22 shells.
  10. That's terrible. Slow the fuck down people. https://dfwscanner.net/2021/02/11/i35w-closed-in-fort-worth-due-to-massive-pileup-mass-casualty-incident-declared/
  11. PBS documentary on Big Bend that dropped a few days ago. https://www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/big-bend-the-wild-frontier-of-texas-nuespk/23821/
  12. That CZ is a great looking gun. One of those in 6.5Grendel would be a great yute deer gun.
  13. Did the same last night and used an air quick connector to hose bib to blow out the lines. Read where someone suggested some rv antifreeze down the drains, in the toilet bowl and the tanks. Might help a bit.
  14. New RV with AL tanks will typically have the plastic plug. If it's metal, it might be an anode instead of a plug but you can remove it to drain also. Hit the pressure relief valve before draining and use teflon tape when putting the plug back in. I bought a wrench kit that has extra plugs to leave in the trailer just to keep from having to dig out a socket set. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BMRRZ94 They video on this link shows how to remove, drain and replace.
  15. Drain the tank, open low point drains for hot and cold water lines, drain water heater and blow out the lines with air. In really cold climates they usually pump antifreeze into the lines but depending on where you are, you might not need to do that. We went back to our farm this past weekend. Trailer is still in the driveway and I'm gonna drain and blow out the lines tonight before we haul it back but I won't be putting in any antifreeze here in Houston.
  16. Dang that was lucky, doggone near lost a $400 hand cart.
  17. Try to slide in at least one dickbutt, preferably as an animated transition.
  18. Took the rv up the ranch this weekend and I had some small engine help. Or channeling my best Gary Larsen "And the cows discovered electricity"
  19. Oshman’s representing. I’ve got a bunch of those era Winchester shotgun shells that were bought in the ‘80s at Target of all places.
  20. Those heavy 9 field loads are probably for live pigeon shoots.
  21. More back lot MX if you’re gonna be making more videos. Maybe a table top over a dump truck just for fun.
  22. Cool gun. If you want to be sure on caliber, have a reputable smith do a chamber casting and measure.
  23. Great Carl Hiassen book. First one of his I read.
